Came here for the first time today. We've passed by this place at least a hundred times, but never around breakfast. So, why not? I've heard/read good things about it. Some friends of ours eat here quite often and rave. That's good enough for me. I was expecting table-side wait service when we walked in, but apparently you order at the counter, THEN go sit down. I've never been a fan of that style but, whatever. It's a Saturday. We'll roll with it. I ordered the "Huevos Locos" omelet; a special item on the chalk board. It has Serrano peppers, onions, chorizo, refried beans and cheese. I told them to hold the beans (just can't see that in an omelet). My bride ordered a "Build-Your-Own" omelet with bacon, mushrooms and cheese. Both orders came relatively quickly. The omelets were each hot, fluffy and loaded with flavor. Mine was a bit spicy with those serranos. I loved it. The chorizo in the omelet had great flavor and spice. The addition of fried tortilla "crisps" on top was a nice touch. My bride said her omelet was equally tasty. The negative, and it's a big one, were the potatoes. If you're going to go through all the trouble of artsy eggs and such, don't serve cold, lifeless, bland potatoes! Visually, they were appealing; browned, crispy wedges that look like they'd be wonderful. But, we wound up leaving most of them on the plates because they were lacking on so many levels. Prices are a little on the high side for a breakfast joint. Considering, it's eggs with a bunch of veggie and protein options to make good omelets. But, the service style and the weak sides don't merit the price or additional stars. We'll definitely come back - I want to try other artsy egg options and give those potatoes another shot. read more

If I could give it a zero I would. We've tried this several times, same outcome. Terrible service from ordering to getting our food. I agree with everyone else, bring your own coffee unless you enjoy bitter coffee with grinds (and she said it was a fresh pot). It was terrible. The ham was cold, the potatoes were cold and we were the only ones in this place! The eggs were over cooked. We will definitely be marking this place off our breakfast list. read more

This is by far the best experience I've ever had at breakfast restaurant. Small building, but super clean, super friendly staff, amazing food. Good size shared parking lot so you won't have to struggle with that. The staff is constantly circling to make sure your needs are met and I've never seen an empty table bussed so quickly. Table turnover time is amazing. Drinks are self serve and they are closed on Monday, just FYI. The food was probably the best breakfast food I've ever had. The Hawaiian French toast is light, sweet, and delish! The omelets leave nothing to be desired. Bursting with flavor! First off I'd like to recognize and thank the staff here for doing a fantastic job of being clean and practicing social distancing. They all wore masks, stayed 6 ft from one another, and wore gloves when required. The wait time was not bad for our food either. The food though... Pretty junk. The loco moco comes on some kind of BS bird seed rice. It was crunchy and earthy tasting. Idk who is a fan of local (Hawaiian) food or not, but if you've ever had one, it doesn't have any of that junk in it. White rice on a loco moco!! Secondly, my GF got french toast. It also tasted weird with some crunchy shit on it. Maybe cereal or something. Also not good. I appreciate the creativity but skip this place if you are looking for tasty food. read more

Great service. Extremely efficient in these times. They make dining in very enjoyable. As always, be courteous and they'll be even more courteous with service. I noticed their efficient takeout service. All takeout items were out just a few minutes before customers arrived to pickup. Everything is well kept from the dining area to the restrooms. All plates are checked for order accuracy and quality. Their hot beverages need improvement. For me, it's the coffee that was not memorable. Good coffee does not require sugar and cream. Overall, 4 stars for excellent breakfast and efficient service. A good hot beverage would top off star number 5. I strongly recommend this restaurant for awesome breakfast items. Looks like a beautiful spot for breakfast inside, but due to COVID it's all take out First time here and really just wanted the good old traditional breakfast. YUM!! We were so excited to go finally to the Atomic Omelette. What a disappointment the entire experience was. I ordered the Animal- 4 egg whites, Chicken, spinach, mushrooms. Husband had something with different meat in it. We walked in and waited while the girl took a phone order. No big deal since we didn't expect to order our meal and then take a number. But that's how they do their business. My husband ordered his omelette and I ordered my "Animal" omelette. We both got water. We sat at the table and soon two plates arrived. I'm not an expert, but neither of our omelette's even resembled an omelette. Neither were folded over, pretty as a picture omelettes. The menu said mine would come with a "protein" (my butt) pancake. Which ironically looked just like my husband's no"protein pancake".. They were both huge. I saw when I ordered mine that the "protein pancake" was what it came with, so no extra sides. All other omelette's state they DO come with a side of fresh fruit and hashbrowns. There was no special of the day- yet That is how my husbands was rung up as. When he asked where were his hashbrowns and side of fresh fruit, the waitress began to argue with him at the table, stating he got the "special". This was not correct. It was not listed anywhere as the special. It was the same price and the sale thing that was on the menu. Clearly written at the top of their menu states "ALL OMELETTE's COME WITH A FRUIT SIDE AND HASH POTATOES". He pointed this out to her and two other waitress' quickly came over so we had three waitresses (2 were apparently the heavy's) to say nope. You don't get those. Husband pointed at pathetic looking scrambled egg display on his plate and asked, "isn't this an omelette?" Then pointed to the top right hand side Of the menu and said "Doesn't this say ALL omelette's (exception stated regarding mine) come with the fruit and potatoes. Well, apparently we were wrong and that's not what it meant. No "if you would like fruit and potatoes I'll go get you some" pacifying comment was said. No, we the customer were wrong and couldn't apparently read what the menu clearly said. Ambiance 0, attitude of server O Customer satisfaction ten minus. Don't make the mistake- do not go here. Atomic Attitude perhaps. Attomic disaster indeed. Skip it. And it wasn't inexpensive either our two omelette's were over $25 dollars. I didn't even Finish mine. Yelp shows they close at 4:00 on Fridays. We were there at 2:46 and they said they close at 3:00 but they had turned the grill off 5 minutes earlier so they turned off the grill 20 min before they close?? It's by far the superior breakfast I have had in Corpus. It's not a fancy place, a little hipster in a sense, but the food and service is really damn good. How many blueberries should be in a blueberry pancake? At this place, you'll count 4 in each pancake. In fact, there were so few blueberries, the food runner thought they were chocolate chips. Another issue I see is when you enter this place, you'll place you order at three front register, then you'll get a table. Then a food runner will bring out your food. No one is accountable for getting the order correct. And no one is able to know if your order was taken correctly. And if there's an issue, you'll have to wait for the manager to explain the issue and then have it corrected. It's a bad setup. lastly, stick with the salads, or the simple breakfast items, and the Hawaiian French toast. Fantastic!!!This place is hands-down one of the best breakfast restaurants in the area!! The Service was phenomenal and the food was outstanding!!! My husband and I both had a build your own omelette and it was delicious! IThe ingredients were fresh and everything was cooked to perfection. We also decided to split a pecan pancake which was so delicious it didn't even need syrup.. I can't say enough good things about this establishment-They stuck to all the covid health practices and we're very diligent about cleanliness. Although the food is great the wait is horrible. They do not offer outdoor dining as advertised. We decided to do takeout as we love their crab cake eggs Benedict. The poached egg was cooked solid. The breakfast potatoes are perfectly cooked red potato wedges fried with just enough onion to season them but not overpower them. That comes with your choice of toast or biscuit and a bowl of fruit. They also have French toast, pancakes, and a traditional breakfast, besides a variety of omelettes. They don't have many options for vegans, outside of the fruit. The only other negative for me is that the hot tea is Lipton. I bring my own tea bag and order hot water, and then I settle in and savor the best omelette I've ever had. read more

Food is fresh, the decor "is what it is" for a local joint, service was friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable for what you get (go hungry!), and we left full and totally satisfied. I got the veggie and the hubby got the big tamale. The fresh avocado totally made my meal, and the man's only complaint was that he wanted avocado on his!!
