The main thing is the rock wall. The job they did started rusting in under a month. Then the attempt to water seal the concrete left an eye sore and also dripped into the pool and on the tiles. I had to fix all of that myself because the more they tried to fix things the worse it got. The pipes for the waterfall leak inside and behind the wall causing white streaks everywhere. And in terms of time to complete, it was not great. Took nearly a month and a half because they would sometimes not come for a week at a time often without communication for days on end. The overall construction of the rock wall is not good or what was advertised in the quote. It looks very amateur and the structural issues will ensure that I will have issues now and down the line. I had to intervene several times and it still missed the mark. On the good side their prices are competitive and basic plastering and tiling seems to be alright so far, but I wouldn't use or reach out to them again. Nobody should expect their pool to look like this weeks after paying for a remodel.

They VCut out a section and said "Satisfaction Guaranteed". Lol Melissa gaslighting, Scott inept initial evaluation, sub standard concrete work. Lee's attempt to clean the filter, leaving out parts on reassembly and upon my inspection, did a very sloppy job. The pool pump motor then started making noise. I called Melissa and she wanted to charge me for a service call...after already paying them thousands. IMHO, a more appropriate name for this company is "1 Mediocre Pool Solution"

From the very start, Vannessa's communication was excellent. She was responsive, clear, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. I was also really impressed by how prepared they were when they came out for the quote. Her guidance made it easier to choose materials and tile. The whole project moved quickly and the quality of the work is beautiful. They also repaired and painted our pool deck, so the entire pool area looks completely brand new. In the fall of 2020, my wife and I decided to refresh our pool, BBQ and firepit area (now 15 years…read moreold). We interviewed five (5) contractors recommended highly on both Yelp and Google. We ultimately chose 4M Specialties. This company has been family owned and doing business in the area for over 30 years (receiving top ratings from the BBB). While 4M was not the cheapest (maybe slightly below average), Mike (Miguel) and Jorge took the most interest in understanding our needs/desires and demonstrated/communicated the greatest knowledge (from years of hands-on experience). Our experience was fantastic in terms of knowledge of the trade/skills, quality of work, and customer care as compared to the contractors my wife and I have worked with over the last 40 years. This experience began with initial project scoping and continued through materials selection (e.g., grout color), design options (accent tile placements), project execution and clean-up (by the crews), and final walk-thru (to ensure our complete satisfaction). Although phone responses were initially not as timely as we would have liked, we found that this was never an issue once the project began -- Mike provides nearly immediate response to texts whenever he is not on site. As for the work crews themselves, extremely polite and considerate. Whenever we had any questions during the process, the supervisors addressed them immediately. Each member of the various trade crews was respectful of our landscape and property, and never left for the day without a thorough cleanup of the work site (all of the 4M employees we met had been with the company for 15+ years). We highly recommend 4M Specialties and will call upon 4M again when we replace our bedroom/bath flooring with tiling!
