First time here, nice little hole in the wall. Came for a coworker's retirement party with a lot of people. Our server was kind but overwhelmed. Def don't blame her, for this large of a party she should have had more help. There is a parking garage directly next to it that has free parking for 2 hours if validated ("Free" also means you pay $2 unfortunately so that was a bit disappointing). To be validated, you have to go to a restaurant or business in the area who will validate it for you. Old dominion has a machine that does it so that was convenient. There is a 10 min grade period before a fee is imposed. I ordered french fries and had one of my coworkers dumplings and it was good. I don't drink but was told the drinks are strong. Had a decent time here but it's not my kind of spot. If you're into bars and like to drink it's def worth checking out. They are popular so be aware of that. read more

The best little neighborhood spot. Happy hour serves up yummy bites and drink specials. Lots of bar seating, high tables and there is ample restaurant seating. Cute for grabbing a bite before a movie or heading to another event. Super friendly servers. They were really attentive and you can tell there are also regulars who give this place a lot of love. Is this review five stars purely because they have happy hour on Saturdays?? YES. Am I excited there's a place with happy hour on Saturday?? YES. On a serious note, there are a lot of great food and drink options. I was informed their wings are pretty good so I chose to stick with what their known for being good at for the most part. I ordered the honey old bay wings because our lovely waitress suggested them. I must truly say, I dogged those wings. Translation, their wings were delicious. Now maybe sweet and spice in combo aren't your thing? Some of the people who got other wing types really enjoyed theirs. For a drink I got the whiskey sidecar and it was good. I came here for a Monday night happy hour with a friend - they said this was their go to spot so I wanted to try it out. The happy hour specials were great deals! I tried the Sweet Thai Chili wings - these were AMAZING! I also tried the Spinach Artichoke Crab dip - this was okay - there didn't seem to be that much crab in the dish but it was still tasty. I ordered a classic margarita - it seemed kinda watered down. Our server was kind & attentive. For the past few Sundays, the guy and I have been exploring different sports bar options to watch the football games. I came across Old Dominion Brewhouse through Yelp where a picture of wings just stood out in my mind for a few days lol. These weren't just your typical glazed wings, but more like fried wings your mom or grandma would make for you at home. We decided to come this Sunday and of course, I chose the wings that were pictured. They come with mambo sauce. I requested all flats which were an extra $1. My bf ordered teriyaki wings and we both ordered a side of fried rice suggested by our waitress. They have drink specials on Sundays and nearby tables had huge 3L beer dispensers which is good if your into drinking beer only (Great for a group of 3+) We really enjoyed our food. The strawberry margarita was a bit sweet but for $6 why not lol. Diverse crowd of sports lovers. There is a parking garage and the Brewhouse will validate. I Enjoy this restaurant, I have probably been here two dozen times over the last 15 years. I pretty much always order the cheese steak when I come here, it never disappoints. Generally have happy hour pricing most evenings from 4-7 drinks $3-$5, as well as appetizers that are discounted, too. Came here last night around 7-7:30 and had my usual cheesesteak, my friend ordered a burger and we were both happy. Also ordered the spinach and artichoke crab dip; it was a little heavy on the spinach for my tastes but the flavor was good. Our server Ruth was excellent at her job despite being 8 months pregnant. Her section that we were in seemed to be a bit overloaded/understaffed, but she still handled it like a pro and came by several times to check on us. We simply had to yell out for her before she'd take notice. The food and the drinks are not worth even the cheap prices listed. I'm sure there's no chef in the kitchen. My kickball team decided to host our holiday gift exchange here. With a reservation they were able seat out entire group even on a Friday evening. The service was pretty good. This place has been around for a long time. And I've only been maybe three times? I came once in like 2013 or 2014 when I used to intern in Calverton, and I remember thoroughly enjoying the sushi and the variety of unique drinks. If I recall, the sushi portion, Tokyo Sushi, functioned differently from Old Dominion itself, although they were still right next to each other. Fast forward to today, it looks like the two have combined, with Old Dominion being the dominant (ha) one, but the Tokyo Sushi menu still exists. The happy hour doesn't seem like it has changed either, lasting until 7:00 on Monday through Saturday. I will say that it gets maaaad crowded, so I'd suggest getting there early if you have a bigger crowd, especially if you want to sit at or near the bar. Beware sports events!! Those definitely won't help with the crowd situation. You can either park in the garage next door which is free for the first two hours, or just walk from the metro if you don't live close. May and Dennis were taking care of me the most recent time I went, they're actually pretty cool. I will start coming by more often. read more

She was alone but made the best of a busy Monday afternoon. I walk in and slip, literally almost bust my tail feather. Eeeek. Well if the floors are any indication of my meal, this is going to be one greasy lunch. We get greeted right away. Drinks come out fast. The sweet tea isn't your traditional brewed tea, wish the waitress would have said that. I let the waitress know that the floors are super slippery, she says it's common when the weather is hot. Ouch! Free lawsuits on the Menu. It's a brewery and I of course order everything my heart desires. I got the sliders, they were not the best. They were dry! Ouch watch the buns, they are toasty! The meat... not sure what they put in it but it wasn't the best. I didn't eat it. The dip was decent. Spinach and crab, we enjoyed it. But, it came with what we all said, "Tostitos Tortilla Chips". Sure tasted like it. The sushi rolls are made with imitation crab. But, they were pretty good. The salmon was over cooked. Loaded potato was great. I tried the lettuce wraps. Pass on those. They are super gross. It's chicken and green pepper, millions of green peppers. Mozzarella Sticks were decent, kinda hard to mess that up. Okay so there are three things made right and edible out of six. We pay and the walk out only for me almost to bust tail again. Had the waitress not caught me, I'd be at some lawyers office and in a neck brace. Literally had neck issues that night. I've always made fun of people who sue or exaggerate when they fall but never again. I almost fell and got caught but was still in pain. Would I come back? Nope, love me a little too much.
