My wife loves this place. Most times service is good. Today 4:30pm on a Saturday (semi crowded) our server is terrible. Older server Scott talked to this other couple (friends of his) the whole time. First time visit. Arrived for an early dinner and was seated immediately. First day for a new menu. Server was Nicole, she was very pleasant and helpful with the new menu and specials. We ordered a crab cake sandwich and chicken piccata. The crab cake looked and tasted delicious. Mostly crab and little filler. Just enough to hold it together. Chicken piccata was two pieces of chicken in a tasty sauce with pasta and capers. Again, delicious. For our dessert, we were tempted by a carrot cake and not sorry we indulged. Tasty food, nice atmosphere! My Reuben was really delicious and filling. The French fries that came with it were a little floppy. Not a great mouth feel... My husband eats dairy free and is trying to lose weight and there weren't many healthy options for him to choose from. Would have liked to see more paleo type choices. We chose to sit at the bar for dinner instead of waiting half an hour for seats. I'd recommend making a reservation ahead of time. read more

I used to live in the Pittsburgh area, and atrias was one of my favorite cafés. I revisited with my family tonight, and I am sorry to say that it was not a great experience. While our server was pleasant, I think she tried to deliver all of our food at the same time. We had a large party, which resulted in several dishes being cold. Also, I ordered the pot roast, and the flavor and texture were terrible. It was extremely dry. In addition, my cousin ordered the steak, and it came out over cooked... Twice. Yes, she sent it back and when they brought the second steak to her, it was also over-cooked. Two things that were excellent, though, were the pretzels with mustard and the Quattro Fromage appetizers. Finally, I know that restaurants need help these days, but the wait time for our food in for our bill was extremely long. All in all, I do not know if I would visit atria's again. read more

Came here for a dinner for a fraternal group I belong to, with my son. There were about 30 folks in our group, men women and some kids and young adults. The food was quite good! I had the salmon (with broccoli and yellow rice) and my son the pot roast. The salad prior to the entrée was excellent! The meal was also very good! Desserts were also excellent. The menu was very limited. Kitchen was extremely slow on our two orders. There was only one other table that came in after us. When I asked why so long I was told the chop we ordered medium well takes extra long to cook. Seriously!!!! what's it take 1-2 '. I said nothing but it affected the tip. Food was good, the chop was a bit overdone but we were ok with it. Mashed potatoes serving - no exaggeration was 2 tablespoons! Overall we were disappointed. Long wait, skimpy servings. Food was good. However, with a large dinner they only give one small piece of bread. When asked for more, they charged $6 and brought out a tray of 6 pieces of bread! Didn't say we would be charged, just brought out all of this bread! We just each wanted one more small piece of bread! Not a whole loaf! Stopped here on the way back from a road trip to State College Saturday night.... it was getting late, 930, and I figured we had missed the boat on dinner as most restaurants close early due to covid hours. Atrias was OPEN with an inviting atmosphere and great music playing in the lounge area. There is plenty of seating on their covered patio which is right next to the bar, so we decided to sit there. From start to finish, everything was excellent. Our server was a doll, I forget his name but he was absolutely awesome. Great attitude, friendly, and genuinely was glad we were there! Food: started with wings, Atrias sauce. Amazing! Their ranch is also on fire!! Wedding soup, just as good, almost got a quart to bring home. My mom got a strawberry salmon salad and she said it tasted just as exceptional as it looked! I got the steak salad and was very happy. Done perfectly, and the steak was tender. Solid American food with good portions. It's a casual restaurant but can also serve as a good option for special occasions. I love the pot roast nachos and steak salad here - the perfect amount of meat with each. And they are very generous with their onion straws on the salad, which is really like thin onion rings (see photo). Room for improvement: make sure the chairs don't have bread crumbs all over them before seating the next party (we had multiple instances of this in our group). And soup was pretty salty, so if you are salt averse, ask for less of it. read more

We ordered takeout from Atria's, wanting to use a gift card 'in the drawer'. My focus is finding healthy food that is tasty & fresh-minimum carbs & added fats & oils. This made it a challenge at Atria's. There are plenty of yummy-sounding items, but few that really met what I was looking for. That said, with some hesitation I ordered the Crab Cakes. Great choice. Not loaded with fillers! The broccoli was also very good-not to heavy on the 'coating', but not totally swimming in it. The entree came with rice. It would be nice to be able to swap it for veggies. (Hint Hint). The other entree we ordered was a steak. It was cooked well-overall a good meal. Also ordered was the Crab Bisque. Reportedly it was good:) If there were more choices on the healthier side, I'd add at least one more star! read more

So I no longer live in Pittsburgh but happen to be in town and had the taste for Crab...I googled Best Crab Cake near me and Atrias popped up. I can easily say the crab cake here was by far one of the BEST Crab Cakes I've ever had! I've spent a lot of time in Maryland and I'm pretty particular about my crab but the crab was juicy, flavorful and completely delicious. Another big highlight was the bartender I didn't catch her name but she was working the night shift she was great and the manager Chris Little was wonderful too, we had great convos and felt like instant friends. Major improvements for this location. Gorgeous inside, with a warm homey feeling. If possibly, sit in the bar with Adam, Pete or Ang they've all been there since the beginning! Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had at a Resturant and I didn't even get to order anything. We were sat at a booth, my wife and I were the only ones in the Resturant. Before we got in the dining room area, one of the employees kids, a baby less than a year old I'd say, was sitting on the bar, wrapped up. Is that legal/aloud? When we sat at the booth, crumbs everywhere and they opened (we think) at 10am on Sunday (was dead so maybe it was 11am). No drink orders were taken, nor any specials told to us. Menus thrown at us and we were told someone would come to us shortly. 10 minutes later, nothing. That's right, we waited 10 minutes and nobody came over to take our drink orders or actual take our order. At this point we were pissed and left, walking past one of the employees talking selfies or posting on social media, two team members playing with the baby (still on the bar) and another team member just starring at us. Nobody said a damn thing! They let us leave and that was it. I will NEVER come here again as long as its open. Also somebody please tell me if it's legal for a baby to be at a bar, near to all the alcohol and items that go in drinks. read more

So glad I found this place. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. I had my pet dog with me and they set up(and wiped down) and outside table for us, after a massive thunderstorm. Our server Nicole was really friendly. The food was great. We started with the nachos which were delicious. The flavor of the roast on the nachos was fantastic! My husband had a Reuben, I had the BBQ pulled pork, and the 2 other members of my party ordered the chicken quinoa bowl, and the Hawaiian chicken. All were good. The homemade chips had a delicious flavor and were a perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches. The inside appeared to be clean and well kept. I will absolutely be back to this place!!! read more

Haven't been to an Atrias in a while so I thought I'd give it a try since I was passing through this area. The glass of red blend was excellent and had a good price point. I ordered a cup of wedding soup and my only complaint is that if I would've known it was going to be that good, I would've ordered the bowl. It was chock-full of delicious pulled chicken, carrots, celery, spinach, herbs, noodles, etc. One downside is that since the last time I've been to an atria's, the cups for soup have definitely gotten much smaller - same size opening at the top, but they are tapered down to almost the width of a shot glass at the bottom. Summary - get the bowl! The steak salad was excellent. The steak was prepared exactly as ordered, and was a proper 6 ounce steak. Accompanied with onion straws, mixed greens, the peppercorn ranch - fantastic! Lastly, I want to mention the excellent service provided by Alexandra. Great atmosphere in Murrysville. Decor is very nice. I always appreciate candles on the tables and round booths. Gives a very nice feel. The Sherry crab bisque soup was one of the best soups I've had. We also got the pork tenderloin and meatloaf dinners. They were excellent. I had enough meatloaf leftover to take home and eat the next day. Finally, we ended with the tiramisu. A little different than what I'm accustomed to, but very delicious. The service was very good, as well. I'd like to go back and sit outside. My only advice would be to somehow enclose the patio, since a view of the parking lot and route 22 isn't exactly relaxing. Nothing to take away from the overall quality of the experience. If you're in Murrysville and would like to have a "fancier" meal, give it a try! read more

Atria's is a solid four stars. Nestled in the luxurious community of Murrysville, atria's offers fine dining, a semi glamorous atmosphere, glamorous people, great service, and great food. I went out on a limb and ordered something outside of the box. I decided to go with the shrimp and grits that was covered in a spicy Creole sauce. I also had a bowl of clam chowder before my meal. I was not disappointed! It scratched me right where I itched. My wife got crab bisque and a salad while my children split chicken fingers. Disappointed with a carry-out order. Lunchtime chicken parmesan order. The chicken was fine, but very little sauce on the pasta and the garlic bread was way undercooked. It seemed like they passed a match over the bread as the cheese was not melted. Poor quality for a high price. Very disappointing and I will not return for a long time. read more

My prior review and experience was a 5 Star entry ... tonite 11/21/17 was a 1 Star. Went for the Chicken Pot Pie Special tonight expecting the usual excellent pot pie. Our table of 4 all hot pot pies and they were all horrible. They were all basically missing chicken and potatoes!!! Out of 4 pot pies we counted three pieces of chicken. It was basically a creamy soup with peas in a pie crust! Sooo disappointing... They went from great to a total joke. Additionally our waitress was inattentive and two of us sat with no ice tea refills for over half our meal. Totally has shaken my faith in this restaurant. Perhaps it is under new management ??? Food was mediocre - sauce on the chicken parm sauce tasted like it was only made with tomato paste, "garlic bread" was like hot dog buns with cheese on it, and the wine tasted watered down. We were greeted by the bartender when we arrived. She was polite and seated us on the patio. Then, we met our waitress Cheryl. She was lovely, and was very insightful. They asked if we had been in before, we said no, and they gave is a free zucchini app. The chef even brought it to our table! We then decided on our meals, the ladies weren't sure what soup to have, so they brought then samples of a few. I got the BBQ Pork Sliders with Mac n Cheese and was not disappointed. My wife got Penne Vodka, which was more like a tomato sauce with a little cream, with a seafood bisque on the side. Her friend ordered chili and a rotisserie chicken wrap. Their meals were pretty good. Overall the restaurant was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with an appetite. read more

A less than stellar dining experience this past weekend . I had made a reservation on Open Table to use my Birthday meal coupon. When we arrived there were two banquets open but we were taken to a table. We asked the hostess if we could be seated at one of the banquets but were told no, they were reserved. When we made our reservation on Open Table we only had one choice for seating - Standard. I asked our waitress how one reserved a banquet and was told "by phone". So far, not so good. My wife chose a dinner salad as her entree and I ordered a side salad with my pot roast. We asked our sever if we could get some bread and were told that bread service was no longer available. Which led me to ask why we then were given a bread plate? Pointing out that not putting out bread plates would reduce dishwashing. I was told that plate was intended for desert., but that makes little sense because I doubt they would bring a pie or cake to the table and load a slice on my plate. In any event I foiled that plan by going home and having birthday cake there. Incidentally, the pot roast was delicious and my wife's salad was also tasty, but I remarked to her that restaurant dining sees to be on the same downward spiral that air travel experienced for those of us old enough to remember the days when air travel was glamorous. As a final note, the two open banquets remained empty for nearly the entire time we were there. read more

Very lackluster. Not what it used to be, no matter which location you visit. Food has become rather plain. Some of their popular dishes are no longer on the menu. The chicken piccata had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Kind of tasted like hospital food. The asparagus was so hard it was nearly impossible to cut with the steak knife. If you are desperate and cannot find another restaurant on busy Route 22, I guess you could stop...go to the Juniper Grille instead or Pasqualino's, you'll most likely have a better meal.
