Service from start to finish was great, we booked an appointment for an in-person estimate and was kept in the loop on approx arrival. Upon arrival, Jose patiently explained details of what each service entailed so we were clear on what we're getting. Chose the attic cleaning, rodent proofing, and blown-in r-30 insulation. Quite competitive and budget-friendly. Day of installation: Installers arrived within the time-frame, unpacked all of the equipment to get started on the big job. I feel for the installers, this is up there with the toughest of jobs out there especially on a hot day; they are incredibly hard-working and thorough. Hallways were carefully covered with plastic and kept clean throughout. In the attic, they even raised the AC ducts so they wouldn't be sitting on the rafters of the ceiling. Several years ago, we had the crawl space under our house insulated, but the installation wasn't very good. So, over time, a lot of that insulation fell down from under the floors. In addition, a lot of plumbing and electrical work had been done to the house over a lot of years and that left a bunch of old pipes and other trash under the house. So, we contacted these guys to come out and give us an estimate on getting the insulation re-attached and a complete cleanup under the house. Attic Cleaning team did such an amazing job! Our attic was in horrible condition, with insulation and dust fluff everywhere. I called and got a quote from several places, but Attic Cleaning was the only team to come out in person and assess the situation before presenting a very reasonable estimate for all potential work needed. Alma was great to work with, she responded promptly and professionally. I opted to just go with just the cleaning for now and they booked me for 2 days later. The team came out in full hazmat gear and an industrial vacuum and disposal setup. They were done after a couple hours and left the space even cleaner than I thought possible. It was great to work with owner Jose Samayoa and his team because he could personally review what work I needed and direct his team to do everything. Over two days, a team of two or three workers did a comprehensive attic and crawlspace cleaning, rat proofing, HVAC duct and air register cleaning, furnace blower cleaning, and replaced and repaired ventilation screens in my attic and foundation area to prevent rodent entry. The attic in my 100-year-old house was cleaned probably for the first time and that alone seemed to make my house feel cleaner. Jose went the extra mile to clean an exhaust fan, remove clogged screens in my attic and bring them up to code, and return to address a minor problem. I'd had construction done about a year ago and didn't realize how much extra dust was generated. He also removed rat carcasses in my basement. I hope the screens prevent any others from ever entering my house again. His prices were competitive with other companies. The real value came with his clear communication, willingness to address my concerns and have a team that could provide comprehensive service--from rats to insulation batts, to attics to basements. Best money I ever spent. These guys are total pros. Jose came out to estimate on a Saturday and the job was started the following Saturday promptly. I had the attic completely cleaned and reinsulated, rodent exclusion performed, and some ducts replaced and some cleaned and re-insulated. They also installed a smart attic fan that allows me to obsessively check the temperature and humidity in the attic. When Johnny and his crew were finished the attic was so spotless that I felt like I could move up there Greg Brady style. The re-insulation of the ductwork was meticulous, with even the furnace plenum and register boxes carefully wrapped. José did a great job on my dryer duct, and when the time came to settle up and he told me the charge I told him I'd been quoted a lower flat rate when booking. No problem, he said, and charged me the flat rate. Later that day I was looking back through the correspondence and realized it was a different duct-cleaning company who'd quoted me the flat rate. I texted José, explained my mistake and asked him to invoice me for the difference. He declined to do so, which was pretty gracious of him under the circumstances.
