Attic Pros replaced our old insulation in the attic. Somehow some rats escaped and hid inside the house. We could see fresh rat droppings, especially in kitchen/pantry area. I called Attic Pros and Raonel was assigned to address the issue on the next day. Raonel communicated well on the arrival time. His work was professional and very effective. He cleaned up the droppings under the sink with professional vacuum; he sealed two additional gaps the prior technician didn't identify; He placed multiple glue traps along the wall line in the kitchen, which turned out to be the exact route rats would take and caught the rats effectively. TL;DR - don't use these guys. I contacted and agreed to have Attic Pros abate the asbestos wrapped ducting in my attic as well as improve air flow in the attic. In addition they mentioned they could add blow-in insulation in an existing wall. While the actual attic work appears to have gone well, the latter was a disaster. For the wall, they cut 2 openings in between each stud, above and below the fire block along my entire eastern wall. They were originally supposed to do all this, patch and paint in one day. They had to add an extra day and didn't notify me until the end of that work day that they'd need another day (problem 1, semi negligible but inconvenient). I realized we hadn't talked payment, contacted their customer service and got an invoice payment link send to me to pay the 10% down. They returned the next day to "patch and paint" - towards the end of the 2nd day my family and I returned home while they finished the job. The tech didn't have enough paint to actually paint my wall, and I had to provide the extra can I keep on hand for them to complete (problem 2, irritating because it was an extra cost to me already for the patch and paint) After the technician completed and left, I took a deeper inspection and noticed issues with the paint job (streaks / dripping paint, incomplete coverage, paint where it shouldn't be - drips on my base boards, drips on my window casing, drips on my couch, problem 3) After seeing that, I made notes to prep for contacting the company - and began to plug back in my electronics into the outlets... problem 4 - as I plugged in my devices - I realized power was gone in my living room outlets - 3 total) - they CUT MY WIRE when cutting the openings. So much for being "pros" At this point I contacted their customer service heated, as this could present a fire hazard. The best they could offer was an electrician coming out in 2 days - hope my house doesn't burn down because of THEIR mistake while I wait. Fortunately nothing happens in the 2 days - and they do send another "pro" to paint my basement boards (again with my own paint - nothing provided by the company) - except I have no power. The electrician confirms the tech cut the neutral wire, which isn't a fire hazard, but has to be remedied. The only option - short of tearing down my living room walls and the insulation I just paid for - the electrician proposed adding an external conduit - but he wouldn't be able to return until Tuesday (weekend and 1 weekday after this visit). In the mean time - Attic Pros sends me no less than 1 phone call, 2 letters, 2 emails and 7 text messages BEFORE my job is actually remedied and truly complete harassing me for payment. Not a single call about the problem I encountered, no sorry's, we'll do better or even offer of cost reduction / discount. It's not until after the 12th time they contact me that they recognized they even caused an issue and offered any discount. As you can tell due to how this overall situation was handled, the poor quality of work with my wall - and incessant harassment via email, text, phone and even mail about paying my invoice when work wasn't complete - I cannot recommend anyone use Attic Pros. Yes they offered remedies and apologies - but only after my final email and threat of contacting the BBB on the final day of this nightmare. Stay away, please go find a quality local company. read more

Attic Pro did attic insulation replacement for me few years ago by the name of Leonid and I recently y found out most insulation, over 90%, materials are still old ones even though they charged full price without telling the truth. I've used them multiple times and referred them to family. My crawl has been compromised for an unknown length of time and I intimately discovered a rodent issue. I originally had terminix go quote me for a cleaning and then I went to attic pros for a second opinion. While attic pros was considerably higher, their price included more than a cleaning. Cleaning should not have even been an option. Everything had to be replaced. Had I gone with terminix, it would have been a waste of money. Several months ago, Attic Pros was hired to clean, sanitize, and identify and fix areas where vermin were entering our attic. As a part of the contract, Attic Pros sets traps and checks them. Today, Kevin Lopez came to check the traps and walked around the exterior of the house to see if there were areas where anything could get in. He took time to thoroughly walk around the house, checked eaves and identified a potentially problematic area. (There is a gap in our garage door which Kevin said is big enough for rodents to pass through.) He also found the area where a rodent pushed through one of the previously fixed areas. (See photo) He patched the hole and put silicone around the repair. Kevin worked in our two attics, resetting traps and also removed a rodent. Kevin is very courteous and polite. He is a good communicator, letting us know exactly what he was doing along the way. read more

I signed a contract to clean up my old but very big complex attic. the first day there was some glitches with one crew team. Arnoldo and his crew were sent for the rescue the next day. oh man, how lucky am I! they don't have many words, but polite and communicate well, courteously ask for permissions or opinions. they work really hard until after 6pm, turned in very solid work, because I had a lot of old small rocks, they had to use two monster machines and vacuumed for hours... they refill the struts thoroughly afterwards, the insulation are literally tight stuffed under the HVAC catwalk they could not reach. they are very professional, and very experienced, taped the hall way right, cover the floor with thick paper or plastic. if you have the luck to meet them, then you are in very good hands. to reward their hard work in addition to tips, I will list the crew's name here: Carlos, Fidel, Erminio, and the foreman Arnoldo. Btw, the project manager is Jeremy, the French Guy! from the original estimate, contractimg and up to the job day and final completion, he is responsive and very supportive during the whole process. This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a service company. We contacted Attic Pros in June after discovering rats in our attic. Their technician confirmed the problem and recommended replacing our insulation and treating the attic for rats, which we agreed to. During the process, the tape they used to seal off the area ripped the finish off our hardwood floors. When I contacted the company, they sent a handyman to "fix" it, but communication was extremely difficult, and his proposed solution--simply applying a matching finish coat--was not acceptable. As a result, the damage is still unresolved. For about three months, things were quiet, but by early September we could hear rats again. I set traps myself and caught one, confirming the problem had returned. I scheduled a follow-up appointment, took a day off work, and the technician was here for barely 10 minutes. He set a few traps and left. When I asked if he would inspect the house to identify how the rats were getting back in, he told me that required a separate appointment. I have now scheduled three different follow-up appointments, and no one has shown up for any of them. I received no calls, no updates, and no explanation. Each time I tried to reach someone, I was routed to their AI answering system and could not get through to a live person. After the third no-show, I finally reached someone through online chat. The representative contacted the technician, who claimed he had a vehicle issue and wouldn't be making the appointment--yet no one informed me. The rep urged me to schedule an early appointment for the next day and guaranteed it wouldn't be missed. I explained that I could not take another day off work and that I wasn't willing to risk it after three consecutive no-shows with zero communication. He promised his supervisor would call me the next day. Two weeks later, I still haven't received that call or any follow-up at all. Their contract states they provide free follow-up visits for up to a year to address any issues promptly, but they have not honored that commitment. Meanwhile, the expensive new insulation I paid for is being compromised again. Overall, Attic Pros has been extremely unreliable, unresponsive, and difficult to work with. I cannot recommend them based on this experience. read more
