This post is long overdue!!! I've been coming here since I was randomly recommended it at the Starbucks on Euclid lololol. I need to go back and thank the barista bc wow! It has become one of my go-to breakfast spots. I believe the chef is the owner (?) she's super friendly and always asks how the food was. I can sincerely feel her gratitude when I tell her that everything was delicious. My go-to dish is for sure the Benedict's. Yummy mex take on the dish! Great food but if you show up on a weekend for breakfast you might get told it will be a long wait. I was waiting for the girl to take my order today and she told the guys in front of me it would be an hour wait. They're always packed more than any restaurant I can remember. So it's best to call in your order with enough time then when it's ready you can pick it up. Another time I didn't have to wait as long and it was also packed, so your mileage may vary. read more

There was always only one or two cooks in the restaurant who would always greet and say goodbye. Restaurant- 4 stars (hoping the owner reads this and gives us news that they will be moving to a bigger location). Small restaurant but the mood is very light and friendly. Holy smoke, this place is delicious!!!!! My fam and I were in Anaheim for a couple days- hitting up Disneyland. Came to grab brunch @ Atticus before making our way home. We were so glad we did! The food was DELICIOUS!!!!!! I had the green Durango chilaquiles, and they did not disappoint. I'm the pickiest when it comes to chilaquiles, maybe because of my high chilaquiles standards the salsa was amazing! Felt like the food critique in Ratatouille I think I even closed my eyes when chewing. Will definitely be back when in the Anaheim. Waittt... Second time back and I can hands down say these are the best chilaquiles in SoCal! I've had chilaquiles plenty of times at home and other local restaurants but nothing compares to these. My husband and I are in love with this place! It's small and cozy and you get 5 star quality food. We try a new dish every weekend and they all become favorites! The service is amazing and the cook is not only unbelievably talented, but so kind and welcoming. Some days are more packed than others but it is a true testament of how good the food is. I was here around 8:15am on a Tuesday and one other table was seated. By 9:00, there were 5-6 tables seated. This tells you that the food is good! I was hopeful that I could get the cafe de olla as decaf, but it's not - I figured though. So I ordered an OJ, water, and chilaquiles with green sauce and steak. The juice was huge! The chilaquiles were outstanding! The chef was friendly and inviting. So why the 4 stars? The bill. My bill was more than what the menu stated, which bothered me. I had to question not only the price of my meal, but also the tax that was added (all written on a check). Due to covid, the cost of my steak add on went up $1. I don't mind paying that, but the menu should reflect that, so I don't feel like there's a hidden cost. I'm not sure how long the increase has been there, but for the number of menus, it could be scribbled on there, or inform the customer. Secondly, my subtotal was $18.00, but my tax was $2.40. When I questioned the tax, no one could tell me the tax for OC (7.75%). On an $18 bill, my tax should be $1.40, not $2.40. They did fix the bill, but they had to confirm the tax amount using their square app. I don't know if it was done on purpose by the waitress or an accident, I'd like to believe in human error because I want to support a local place. Would I return? Absolutely hands down YES because of the quality of the food and the chef/owner's friendliness! So now, get it together and fix those issues so I can give this place 5 stars for my next visit. read more

A little too fried on the edges of the eggs but I still enjoyed my food start to finish. Never change! My kids usually share a kids chocolate chip pancakes, and we just order extra bacon. I've tried the eggs Benedict with chorizo (forgot the official name, the names are all literary-themed for the book nerds). My hubby usually orders something with steak, which tastes like tapa (Filipino dish that's marinated meat & usually served for breakfast). The servers are incredibly efficient (one even remembers my daughter's preferences), the place is always clean but on the tiny side. So I wouldn't recommend this place for parties larger than 8.
