Such a cozy place to have a delicious breakfast/brunch and catch up. Specifically made for small groups. I love this! We were greeted immediately. Unfortunately due to an appointment, we were unable to dine. We did order their Iced Cafe'de Olla to go. 10/10 this has to be the best I've had. So much so, we ordered an extra to go. Would love to visit again for a proper meal when I get back into town.

I've been coming here for years now and it's always the BEST!!! The owner is amazing and friendly as well as the staff!

This place was just okay for me. The spot itself is really cute, quaint and cozy, there was a wait but that's understandable since the spot is small..the service was good. Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the food I ordered. The avocado toast was a bit too salty, possibly because of the cheese on top, and it just did not hit for me. Overall, the atmosphere and service were nice, but the food was just okay and left me feeling unsatisfied.

It's a good brunch spot, but not the best. There's a good amount of parking. The restaurant is really small. There were only 7 tables. It didn't seem like it can fit big parties and there's an automatic 20% gratuity for parties or 4 or more. It was a 40 minute wait to be seated. Once seated, we wait to order but our food didn't take too long to come out. The pancake was doused in butter which was good but heavy. I also got the chilaquiles with chorizo. The red sauce was delicious. Definitely had a little kick to it. Got the egg scramble with potatoes, bacon, cheese, spinach. It tastes a bit bland and so I added hot sauce on top. It's a good homey brunch spot, but it does have limited seating so prepare to have a bit of a wait. The servers were kind and attentive.

Very ma + pa. The food was so amazing authentically home-cooked meal. It was worth the wait. I imagine that it gets really busy on the weekends. I happen to come on a Friday morning. The service is great. The staff was kind. I ordered the café de olla and I have never had it before so I added creamer. Luckily, they replaced my cup with a fresh one, and I was good to go. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking an authentic meal!

Food was 100/10 super delicious and not too overwhelming. The service was great everyone was super attentive and super friendly we really got a warm vibe. The interior was super calm and clean the decor was super cute nice little spot me and my family enjoyed, the only caveat is that you cannot have parties larger than 6. Other than that it was a super good find. Glad we chose to come here!

Very quaint breakfast mom and pop shop. The wait was almost an hour but the food was good so I can see why people do. The service was solid. I would've like to have been offered more coffee. The vegan scramble was fresh and delicious. My partner got the Finch breakfast burrito and said it was solid too.

this is a quaint, homey little hole in the wall brunch spot. the wait can get pretty long but the service is good and friendly and parking is limited but available. Durango Chilaquiles Red w/ Chicken i'm usually a big fan of chilaquiles, but i thought these ones were just alright. i liked how the chip texture wasn't too soggy, but i found the sauce to be way too sour for my enjoyment and the chicken was dry and tough. Plaza Breakfast Tacos 2 tacos served with a side of potatoes, these tacos were so delicious and perfectly seasoned. the flavors and toppings of the tacos tied together well and nothing was too overwhelming.

From the french toast, to the coffee, and the service... everything actually exceeded expectations! For context, I found this spot randomly on yelp, in search for a brunch place in Anaheim. We were a party of 2, so despite a few parties being ahead of us on the physical (paper) waitlist we were seated at peak hours on a Saturday. The menu is large but I think we were spot-on with all of our selections: We got the french toast (with bananas and mixed berries), Christian G protein plate (with yams), Egg Scramble (with a side of pancakes), and the Cafe de Olla (Piloncillo & Cinnamon infused) iced coffee. The french toast was crunchy on the crust and chewy on the inside. The fruits paired very well with the self-serve syrup. The syrup dispensers were great because they would not over-pour (like at a typical iHOP). I chose the yams as my side for the Christian G plate, and it was amazing. Nothing fancy but yams just made the plate 10x better. We were glad we got a two-stack of pancakes because despite their smaller size, they were pretty heavy and would just melt in your mouth. The Cafe de Olla (Piloncillo & cinnamon) was great! We would recommend this coffee. As we were finishing up the meal, the waiter came over and offered a togo cup as we had not finished our first drinks. Unexpectedly, he came out with a fresh new togo cup, plenty for the rest of the day or even tomorrow's cup. Little things like this, vouch for a perfect service score in my book! The restaurant was very cozy, with great decor! Our favorite decor is shown in the photos :) The service was as quick as it could be, given that there was one chef and at times the floor staff would also help with the prep. Food was ready in about 30 minutes, during peak brunch hours.

Long lot, easy parking. Waited about 15minutes before we got seated. There's a wait list to put your name down. OJ $3.75: I couldn't tell if this was freshly squuezed or poured from a bottle. I only wish the serving amount was more than what was given. Cafe de Olla Hot $6: Tasty and pleasant, I believe this comes with an extra refill as our server asked if we wanted a refill which was nice. Scramble Combo $21.50: Eggs, Potatoes, French Toast, Cheddar, Spinach and Diced Ham. A little bit pricey IMO and medicore taste. Overall this combo was good, but nothing spectacular. Finch Breakfast Burrito $10: Simple breakfast burrito, but nothing to rave about. Overall friendly staff, food mediocre, nothing for me to make me want to come back for more. Solid food overall and friendly staff.

I give this place 2.5 starts because the employees were nice and place was clean . I am a huge brunch person and this place was in my list so today finally decided to not go to my favorite spots to give this place a try . Sadly it wasn't up to par with My breakfast standards . I made the mistake of missing the sign in sheet outside so when we walked in they told us to sign in and wait outside . The place is tiny , like maybe 6 tables . We waited less than 10 mins outside . After we ordered food came out pretty fast but I just got the avocado toast with a side of bacon and my husband got the chilaquiles which I believe is the popular item here . He liked his order but it was a small portion where he didn't get full so I gave half of my food to him . I didn't like my avocado toast at all but the side potato's were good . I try avocado toast everywhere , it is my favorite but I didn't like the Mexican style avocado toast . Other ppl might like it , but it wasn't for me . And that was the only thing on their menu that looked good to me . The water cups they bring out are really small so we both finished our water right away and had to wait awhile to get more . They don't have teas only coffee or juices so that was a bummer . I was craving a nice hot chai latte . I just had to go get one after we ate here . Usually breakfast spots offer chai , so that was different for me . Sadly , we won't be back but I'm glad I have it a try finally . The area has a lot of places around and enough parking .

Chilaquiles with steak, $22! Thought the price was a little steep for the small portion but the authentic taste made it up for it.

My family and I visited on a Sunday morning around 10:20, we didn't wait more than 5 minutes to be seated which was great! However, as soon as we walked in we were able to hear the two female cooks up front, negatively speaking pretty loudly about the party that was waiting to be sat. Such a big turn off! The minute we sat down, it's almost as if the clock started ticking. We tried to get our little one settled right away in her high chair by cleaning it because it was dirty (our little one is still teething so she touches everything and places her hands in her mouth) but the belt for it was torn and not working properly. We still sat her and just watched her throughout our meal, we ordered 2 chilaquiles, cafe de olla and a kids French toast! The food was great but I wish we would've been able to enjoy our meal without feeling constantly hurried by the staff. Almost every 3 minutes they checked in to see if we had everything, which is greatly appreciated but it definitely felt as if we needed to get up and get going. I understand it's a small location and other parties began to wait but it was excessive. My little one began to get fussy and as we tried calming her, one of the waitresses brings us our check while we still had food on our plate and said "in case she is sleepy" it felt like she implied to get going because she was fussy. I really wanted to like this place because of their good food and the reviews I had seen but I wouldn't recommend unless you're single and in a hurry. Place but that still

Haven't been in awhile, so we decided to drop in over the weekend. Saw it was packed, so we decided to catch them on another day. So glad to see a following here. This young lady/Chef is doing a bang up job! Well, the next day came around and we hit it this morning. This place never disappoints! Chilaquiles were great and the Harper Steak & eggs are excellent! Came here this Saturday morning at 1115 by myself, there were about 5 other parties, 1 larger group. I got seated right away and I was on a bit of a time crunch so I let the waitress know that I needed to leave in about half an hour, she put my order in right away and then she got in the kitchen and started working on it with another lady. They were quick, they were attentive. They all helped each other out in getting the food out quickly. It was great. The food was delicious. I ordered the chilequilles chorizo with red sauce. The crunch in the chips were perfect. I loved the set up of the restaurant because you can see them cook in the kitchen right in front of you. Excellent service, I will definitely be back! Location is a bit off, but once you sit down with your cafe de olla the ambiance sets in. I had the taking back pancakes and it was probably the best pancake I've ever had. This place is truly a hidden gem. Oh and I would suggest to arrive early! read more

Yesterday was mine and my friends 1st time trying this spot! It was quite a wait but that's to be expected on a Sunday at like 11:00 am. I'm glad we waited! It was definitely worth it. Our server was super friendly and on it. The food was delicious, I got the dickens Benedict, my friends got French toast and chilaquiles and everything was amazing. The cafe de olla was very flavorful and didn't need any creamer because it was that good. It's a very chill and calm atmosphere, super cute and small. Highly recommend read more

So I lived around the corner from this place for a while a had no idea about this hidden GEM! I got the Hug o war sandwich was super good but I will be going back before I move to get some of the other popular dishes to try. Such a cute little place! I got the chilaquiles with carne asada and they were very tasty. I will say the sauce is a little on the lemony side not spicy at all (if thats even word but ifykyk) but still really good! I got my baby girl the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon and she also loved it. read more

Atticus is one of the best breakfast brunch spots in LA hands down. Coming from Portland (with amazing restaurants) Atticus fits in with great food we have become accustomed to. We love it and the proprietor is as wonderful as the food is flavorful. May they never close. read more

Went to this place this morning I just say WOW!!! I love chilaquiles and I'm always looking for spots that have them. So far I must say this is by far the best place I have found in Orange County. Delicious food, vegan and non-vegan options, amazing chef! Not sure if she was the chef or owner, but customer service was amazing. Came here on a whim today and it's honestly one of the best breakfast spots I've been to. I'm not a huge breakfast person but this place hit the spot. Yesterday my friend and I were in the Stanton/Anaheim area looking for a place where we could sit down outside and have breakfast and found this hidden gem!! There was not a lot of outside seating in fact I believe there was only 1 table outside but because it was a Wednesday morning, that table was available and we were happy to take our seats. Our smiling and gracious waitress was excellent from the start making sure all was good throughout our entire meal. My stomach doesn't do well with eggs but I wanted a more savory breakfast so I was happy to find several vegan options on the menu and chose the vegan chilaquiles. The presentation when this plate came out made me clap and say "Oooo! This looks sooo good!" I was not disappointed! It was deeeelicious. I wish I would've taken a pic but I was too hungry and excited to eat what was in front of me. My friend had the Hemmingway Brunch Sandwich on brioche and I didn't have to ask her how her meal was because all I heard from her was "Mmmm! Mmmm!" after every bite. She devoured it. Oh...and their coffee...the coffee that the waitress said they are known for was yummy! It had a hint of cinammon and sugar with no need to add any cream because it was delicious and hit the spot just as it was. When we were finished with our meal and just about ready to leave, the owner who was also the cook came out to ask how everything was. I thought that was very sweet of her. Kudos! If you are local or in the Stanton/Anaheim, I highly recommend this place! read more

Peppy little cafe in a strip mall. The reviews are on point. This place is absolutely amazing!! I had the chiliquiles with over easy eggs. Half red and half green sauce. Slight bite as far as spice but every bite was beyond perfect. Service superb. Everyone was delightful and the cook was a very welcoming and happy gal. Next time I'm in town I'll be coming back. This place is awesome, from the service to the food always on point. We come here at least twice a month, sometimes even more. The pancakes are amazing, they come with toppings but we get them on the side. The chilaquiles are better good compare to other places. The food is always made to order. With that being said it might take some time depending how many parties are in front of you. They go by the order you're sit down, so don't worry you won't be skipped. The price is prefect compared to other cafes. Average price is about $16-20 pre person. read more

Everything was going well until we had to wait over 1 hour for the kitchen to accommodate the cops order first before everybody else. My family was sat first and we placed our order first and somehow the cops were served first. Not until I asked about my order they brought it out. Very disappointing all customers should be served the same. read more

The food was good. Had chorizo chilaquiles and the steak with eggs. I thought the chilaquiles were okay from what I am use to. It was a bit salty and the salsa was bland. The portion of meat was small for the chilaquiles. Chef was not wearing a mask and no gloves while handling our food. I found a long piece of hair in my lemonade and was given a dirty look from the waitress when I returned it. It kinda made me nervous to eat the food and I already felt like leaving. I can't wait what this place will look like in a few months. I'll come back when there's more reviews. Thanks. read more

Great place to get some good brunch. Also has a latino flavor to some of their dishes and they are bomb! Get their Mexican coffee as well. It is filled with goodness that warms you up. Def check this place out but expect some long wait time. read more

Brought my mother and grandmother here today was looking for a spot to have breakfast and this place had good reviews. The food was a hit! We loved the chilaquiles and the cafe de olla was soo good. My husband and I discovered this hidden gem through Yelp. Upon arrival, we noticed a posted sign stating that parties larger than six are not permitted. The wait time was relatively short--about 15 to 20 minutes. Service: Our server provided excellent service--attentive, courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the chef. During our visit, my husband informed our server that he has a severe allergy to sour cream and requested that it be kept off his plate entirely. While the server respectfully communicated this to the kitchen, the chef responded in a noticeably rude and condescending manner, even going so far as to criticize the server in a tone that was both unnecessary and unprofessional. Given the restaurant's open kitchen layout, this interaction was clearly audible and visible to guests, which made the experience uncomfortable. Food: Despite the negative interaction, the food itself was impressive. The green chilaquiles were flavorful and well-balanced, and the coffee had just the right amount of strength and flavor. However, the pancakes seemed slightly undercooked in the center, with a taste reminiscent of raw batter--possibly a stylistic choice, though it may not appeal to everyone.
