This review is for the ski hill only, I didn't stay at the hotel/resort. The ski hill is very nice, lots of space, lots of runs. The lift to the top of Attitash Peak, is a slow triple, which can get a little frustrating, watching the hi-speed quad run past you (but only a little over half way up). there was lots of snow, which was nice, the grooming was excellent, the staff were very friendly. We ate Lunch at the Attitash hill lodge, food was excellent, beer was excellent, prices were very reasonable. I would definitely go back for another week/weekend of skiing.

While I'm sure there are some fine instructors on staff here and at Wildcat, our multi-family group has taken our kids to these mountains now two years in a row, and had repeatedly horrible experiences. We kept thinking it was just a poor match or bad luck, and thought we'd give it another try this winter. Unfortunately both mountains let us down, with two different older, male instructors who clearly are working just for employee benefits and do not have the patience or proper training to work well with kids. In our most recent experience at Attitash, all 3 kids (not tiny ones, mind you - ranging in age from 8 to 12, each with prior skiing and lesson experience) were in tears by mid lesson. The instructor was excessively gruff and curt, and angry with his employer for how they schedule lessons - which he apparently decided to take out on his students. When we had to intervene, he graced us with a monologue about his alleged experience with kids on the autism spectrum - apparently to claim what a sensitive and wonderful teacher he is, and that our childrens' "special needs" must simply be off the charts. This assessment is not only clinically inaccurate, but an absolutely unacceptable excuse for his failure as an instructor. If you want your kids to fall in love with skiing/riding, take them to lessons at any other resort in the area - it's too much of a gamble that you'll end up with one of these guys at Attitash or Wildcat.

This place has come a long way from just a few years ago. I've read the pejorative comments about…read moretheir service, and although we did experience a lack of customer service, such was not the case today. We got here about 1030 AM. From previous experience, we parked at the Bear Lodge parking lot. Their Covid-19 protocols were in force and we were thankful to the staff for them. That continued with minor exceptions, for the entire day. We absolutely love the Bear Peak Lodge area to start the day at Attitash. For starters, the parking area is closer to the lodge. If you arrive early enough, you can park just feet away from the lodge. Even if you arrive later, it's a short walk. The Lodge is one large, functional building with everything within, from support functions to cafeteria, bar and restrooms. From there, it's a level and short walk to the Bear Peak Quad, whisking you to the top with little delay. From there, wonderfully long Blue cruisers and numerous glades are available on the Bear Peak side. As well, several challenging and a few absolutely enjoyable black diamond runs. It is worth noting that although slow, the Abenaki Quad is a nice alternative if one finds themselves on the runs in the Eastern edge of Bear Peak, towards the Attitash Peak. It's a convenient way to get up the mountain without schlepping it on the Bearback trail. From the Bear Peak, the access to Attitash Peak is an easy route, although a bit level in some places. The Summit Triple takes you all the way to the top with amazing - truly spectacular views. However, they're overdue in replacing it. You could read three chapters of Anna Karenina while on the lift. It is exasperatingly slow. The Flying Yankee quad is way faster but it only covers the lower half of the mountain. Although Attitash Peak has the best and most challenging trails, it nonetheless suffers from outdated and some times frustrating infrastructure. Overall, Attitash is well worth a visit. The terrain, views, staff, grooming, glades, and overall experience makes this Vail resort a little gem in the collection.

Was looking forward to sitting in the jacuzzi in our "penthouse" the whole weekend. Well I decided, because of horror stories of Jacuzzis in hotels, that I was going to run a bottle of bleach with warm water through it when I got there. The jacuzzi was nasty the amount of dead skin and black mold that came out just from that was disgusting. The office sent housekeeping up to the room to clean the jacuzzi. And took half off our first night since we couldn't use it. We'll I decided to pull off the jets and look to see if they cleaned. Nope. I took a toothbrush and bleach and scrubbed every single jet. This is my vacation. I have worked my ass off this summer and paid alot of money to literally scrub a jacuzzi to use ONE time! Will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend to anyone. If you're reading this and are in CH133B this week. The jacuzzi is nice and clean. You're welcome.

This is one of our favorite spots, as it is such a relaxing and welcoming place. Our technicians were Meaghan and Heather, who both did a wonderful job. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our services. We appreciated being able to use the steam room and shower following the services, with their lovely shampure products. We felt so rejuvenated upon leaving here. In past visits, we were able to get more services and at longer durations. Unfortunately, that has changed. This wasn't communicated and there was an issue with scheduling our services. When we received the initial confirmation, everything looked fine (services and durations) aside from it stating "body polish" instead of "body scrub". I was assured that it would be a scrub, regardless of what the confirmation said. Unfortunately, the day before our services the confirmation email had different durations of services. When I called to inquire, I hadn't received a call back, however it was addressed immediately upon our arrival. They noted that our call was received and said they figured they would wait until they saw us. I wish it had been addressed ahead of time, as we had to make a quick decision on the spot regarding our services. I would have preferred time to think it over. Also, the polish was in fact a polish and not a scrub, which was not what was wanted nor expected. Overall, we had a great time and would go back! This has become a staple for our white mountain trips. The services are always great, the staff is always friendly, and we always leave feeling refreshed! The only downside was the lack of communication/scheduling error, which has never been a problem in our countless other visits here.
