This was our first time to drive UTVs and ride on sand dunes. We did the 3 hour excursion and we had an absolute BLAST. The sights were incredible, the UTV handled like a dream, and many amazing memories were made. Our guide, Mark, was absolutely awesome! He instructed us well, shared a lot of knowledge about the place and surrounding areas, was patient and allowed us to roam around to check out some of the spots, and was just a very nice and funny guy. The whole guide team with ATV adventure tours was awesome! We took our 2 yr and 4 yr old kids with us. We did a morning, 3 hour tour. From the moment we pulled up, the guides were helpful with unloading and loading car seats, fitting us for helmets, and going over procedures. We stopped plenty of times for water and snacks. Tammy was our guide. She was excellent with the kids! There was also a bachelor party in our group. I was concerned we would slow them down, but there err enough guides to take care of them and our family without interruption! We stopped at some cool locations in Sand Hollow. We absolutely loved this trip. We did a four hour guided tour and our guide Alan was the best. We rented one of the 4-seaters instead of a smaller ATv and both loved driving it. We saw so many beautiful things and Alan was always cognizant of when the best places to take pictures for us was. We'd love to bring the kids back. Jurassic park, the unlimited Dunes, views of the lakes and the valley 1000' below you... Incredible and we always felt safe. They were also so accommodating with our need to start the tour earlier. This was a fantastic ATV tour - the views are absolutely amazing. Alan was an excellent tour guide, A+. He was friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and really allowed the group to enjoy the ride and views. We showed up and Alan was waiting with our helmets, gloves, and face guard (brand new in the package). We were provided a variety of tasty snacks and cold water at each stop. My girlfriend and I rented 2 ATVs so we could both have fun riding. She's never driven an off road vehicle but found it easy to pick up. However, there are a few parts that are moderately difficult for inexperienced riders. In hindsight, I think we would have rented a 2-seater ATV. We did the 4 hour sunset tour. The views are amazing, you really get to some remote locations on the tour. It is well worth the price, you will not be disappointed. Keep in mind this is a tour for tourists. If you do more research you can rent atv's on your own and explore on your own. This will give you the opportunity to really get some speed and thrills. Top speed on the tour was maybe 25 mph. For us the tour was better, not having to figure out how to navigate hundreds / thousands? Of acres. One star knocked off due to mediocre thrills. read more

Amazing experience. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and made sure we were all safe and having fun. I enjoyed the educational breaks we took, where we learned more about how the area was formed and what kind of plants/animals live on Sand Mountain. Lots of great views and we appreciated the snacks. I was a little nervous, as it was my first ever ATV ride, but Cary and the other guide were great at explaining everything and making sure everyone was comfortable. Dave was very accommodating and the tour was really very informative and interesting. Dave knows a great deal about the Flora, the petroglyphs inscribed in the rock by the native Americans of the area and the geology. The gypsom tailings (Utah Ice) were really cool as they made the small desert knolls (adjacent to the open mine) glitter in the sunlight like diamonds on dunes. It was so incredible to see the foot prints of the dinosaurs stamped for millennia in the hardened pyroclastic flow. It was memorable for my wife and me. My boyfriend and I did this last week. It was my first time ever on an ATV and I was taught on the spot how to ride, we toured a few different Terrains, stopped for water, stopped at gorgeous sites, we were taught a few things about the landscape, plants that were natural to the region. Having done ATV tours in Hawaii, Tahiti, Egypt, around Vegas, etc. we were hoping for a nice ride, but not expecting to be BLOWN AWAY like we were! First off you have to realize that Sand Hollow State Park (40 min. drive from Zion National Park) is insanely beautiful and full of the rock formations you see around Zion plus it has lots of Sand Dunes! ATV & Jeep Co. Is super professional and has all new ATVs and gear which you can't say about many ATV companies. Our guide, Mitch, is a super cool and friendly guide who while keeping everything safe gave us some freedom to blast around the dunes. What an amazing day we had with our guides Brent and Rob. The all day adventure was way better then we could have imagined. The adventures, views and overall fun made for a day of lasting memories. We came from Vegas, stayed the night in St. George, easy drive using the directions the company sent us. There were so many sites and fun times for all ages. Photo ops at every turn. We had 2 ATVs: 1 with myself and our 9 year old son 2: with my husband and daughter 17, it's cost more to have the 2 toys but it was worth every penny. The lunch provided on the tour was delicious- freshly made sandwiches with chips, fruit and a cookie. Rob and Brent shared facts and history of the area. The kids talked nonstop back to Vegas about the fun they had. This is our 3rd time doing an ATV ride and this one was by far the best ride yet. We did a 2-hour trip with ATV & Jeep Adventure Tours and really loved it! They're right, 2 hours just isn't enough. I've hiked all over Southern Utah and this was a fun, unique way of seeing the scenery. The Beginning: I wanted to plan a surprise mini vacation for my family. I have two boys (19 &16) and hubby. And planning a trip within the time frame that I had been challenged with was not going to be easy. I had already made up my mind that I wanted to take them somewhere they hadn't been before....so Utah it was going to be. From the onset, I wanted to do something with them that they hadn't done before. In previous vacations, the boys were too young to drive any vehicle of any sort (other than the cars in Autopia @ Disney). But now that they are teens, it's a bit more challenging to find an activity that would keep the entertained. After doing some research, I came across ATV and Jeep Adventure Tours. I read the previous reviews and was skeptical that a company could have such high praises. Nonetheless I began my inquiry with an on-line chat. The person on the other end of that chat was Sindy. She was very patient in answering my questions during that chat and never hurried me to end it. But after thinking about the adventure more, I had a few more questions so I submitted an email. The email was responded to within less than 24 hours. Sindy's email was brief asking that I call her so that I could get my questions answered - she was very patient, very thorough and very helpful in trying to accommodate my scheduling constraints. I booked a 2 hr tour. The Tour: We arrived early just as instructed and we were greeted by our guide Kerry. He was so patient and knowledgeable. He gave instructions patiently on how to use the machines. He showed great patience as well when someone had problems dealing with going up sand dunes for the first time. He made this tour interesting, fun, challenging, educational and just an incredible memory for my family! We each had a quad - and even though neither boy had driven one before, Kerry made them "almost" experts by the end of the tour. We came on 8/20, and this experience made the entire trip. It exceeded my expectations, and my husband and I agreed that if and when we come back to southern Utah we will 100000% be doing this tour again. We were looking for an outing that would be fun and interesting and accommodate our large group (10 people). That's when we found ATV & Jeep Adventures. My husband and I had an amazing experience! We were able to book or tour on a Saturday in April without any issues. And we only booked a couple days in advance! We did the three hour tour and it was perfect for us. We got to see so many incredible sites and experience a lot of amazing things. Their pictures describe it better than I could. It was one of the most fun activities I've ever participated in. Our tour guide was Cary. He was fantastic! As beginners, he gave us great instructions and made us feel comfortable. He was knowledgeable of the animals, plants, history, and land formations. I love going on tours where I learn a little bit of something. This adventure was so fun! Great three hour tour. We did this on July 4 with Cary as our guide. Everything was provided to us. Cary did a great job stopping as necessary as we had 3 kids. We took out two UTVs and it was great. Booked a full day and it was great. My husband and i drove side by sides and the family with us drove quads. Started out with some rain but didnt bother us in the side by side. Day cleared up and it was awesome. Great way to see all of sand hallow if you have never been there. Guide was knowledgeable and helpful with pictures. Guide kept apologizing about the speed as the other guests complaining and we are more seasoned off roaders but we didnt mind. We enjoyed cruising around and taking in all the sites as we had never been there no need to speed. Great park we will be back with our own machine. Highly recommend if you have never been to sand hallow even if seasoned with your own machine do this tour. read more

Just did a sunset ATV tour with Rob and it was amazing! Rob made everyone super comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the area. The tour itself was a blast and we stopped at some really pretty points of interest. I found this company randomly while planning my husband's birthday getaway and definitely hit the jackpot. It was us and two other couples and everyone had a blast. I had mentioned to Cindy (the lady who answered the phone to help me make my reservation, also super sweet btw) that it was for my husband's birthday and they actually gave him a card and some goodies when he got there it was pretty cool! We had 4 people for the 5:00 to 9:00 pm sunset tour. The tour was great, the views were fantastic, and all 4 of us picked up riding the vehicles very easily (with no prior experience). The BEST part of our tour was, without a doubt, our tour guide Cary. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and an overall delight to have as a tour guide. We booked a 4 hour tour, we had a group of 6....5 year old, 17 year old, 2 almost 40 year olds and 2 60 year olds. We've never done an ATV tour before, but it far exceeded our expectations! Our guide was Rob and you can tell safety is his top priority, he went over every machine, provided all our safety gear, and all the key points to make sure you know what to do! Simple, yet thorough! He was also very knowledgeable about the area including animals that frequent the area. A few of our crew fell behind a few times, but he always stopped to make sure everyone caught up and stayed together. He had scheduled stops at the best scenic points, water and snacks. From the directions to get there, to the quick ATV 101 and the entire tour, they could not have done a better job. John was so great, patient, kind and he made it fun. Rose even had spray bottles to keep everyone cool. The atv's are top notch and accommodated novice to expert (different atv's for different levels). I highly recommend this tour! Wear a tank top and sunglasses with lots of sunscreen and bring a long sleeve for when the sun starts to set. I took a half day tour (3.5 hours) on a side by side. Total cost 399$ for two riders. Pros: spectacular views. Very photo worthy scenery on the trails. Water and snacks included. Excellent guide. Cons: not for a thrill seeker. We didn't anticipate being "let loose" on their machines, but we also didn't anticipate touring the red sands of southern Utah at a snails pace. Remember, this a Tour. Meaning, you might spend your money to drive an ATV behind someone who drives theirs like a riding lawn mower. Granted, our guide did allow for a couple minutes to break away from the pack and reach higher speeds. However, 90% of the half day tour was trolling around like you were searching for poachers. My opinion: If looking for a thrill, spend your money on a rental and avoid the tour. If you're looking for a leisurely tour with outstanding views and are easily entertained by things like keeping your library book one day late or going 40 in a 35, this tour is for you. Overall: 4 stars for the quality. Organization on point, excellent guide, superb views, high quality machines, ease to find location. read more

We had Cary who was very kind and paid attention to everyone's skill level and age. He provided history on the town and allowed us to explore a bit. They provide everything you need for the experience except for a bathroom (one in the beginning and one three hours later). So gals, be comfy using nature and bring some toilet paper and plastic bag.
