I absolutely love this place! It's a great vibe as soon as u walk in! The staff is amazing and they have one of the best bartenders around, Gina! She makes the best cocktails! Food is always on point. Delicious and generous portions!

It is St. Joseph's Day. I have never had a zeppola and it's about time I did. So off we went to…read morestand in line at The Original Italian Bakery. The bakery has a small parking lot with about half a dozen spots. A policeman was on duty today to direct cars to the Walgreen parking lot next door when this lot was full, and to let them in when spots were open. As the line of people waiting outside the door to get in was constant, this was very smart planning and much appreciated. Some folks seemed to know St. Joseph's Day was very busy here and had placed orders in advance. These smart shoppers skipped the line and quickly came back outside with their orders bagged up. The line moved pretty well with four shop assistants helping customers. Only about 10 guests, max, fit inside at a time. Once inside bagged breads like sandwich rolls were on shelves while calzone and other meal pastry were in a case. Then, there were three cases full of zeppola. During our visit they had chocolate, pistachio, ricotta and original available. We got one of each. I cut my first zeppola in half and see the cream filling sits all the way down into the pastry. These are firm enough to hold in your hand and bit into. The pastry is very much like that in an éclair. Firm while being light and airy. The original filling is a lovely custard. The chocolate is a fluffy cream base I believe. Both were very tasty. I have two more to try and am looking forward to them. Between these tasty pastry and other items they had for sale there, we'll be back. You should check them out too.

Location: This is a casual dessert spot that is open all year round, and it's super casual and cozy. I really like the drive-thru option. They also have private parking. They added bright pink signs and changed the banner! New management is probably happy to get late night customers~ inside is clean and small. The staff are young girls who are earning their summer paychecks~ very kind and prompt with our treats. I did notice their new management cared a lot about costs and making money. I only say this based on my perspective. The register has a sign that states they charge for additional cups. This just didn't make sense because some parents tend to grab an extra empty cup to give their kids smaller portions of ice cream. Just gave the vibe of trying to make more $$ ~ Otherwise, this is such a convenient location for late night and quick drive or stop for ice cream treats.

I usually come here just for that, even though they offer a variety of other dessert items. This is definitely my favorite. I typically go with this and the Dubai chocolate pudding they also sell, which is another top tier item on their menu. I have not tried their other food items, but I will definitely be going back to try more items. So far, everything I have had has been delicious. Location: The location itself is really nice. It has more of a sports bar vibe, but it is still cozy and spacious with plenty of seating. I have never actually dined in, but it is super casual and would be a great spot to go with a group of friends or even on a first date.
