Went in at 2:30p on a Thursday. Didn't see any other customer. Lovely Receptionist texted yo salespeople but NO ONE came out. I literally saw one look at phone, look at me, and turn around. I commented as to how long it was taking. The receptionist shrugged with a slight laugh. I said "well, this tells me a lot." She looked down. I walked over to a nearby suv. Opened the door and it "fell" about 1/4 inch. I closed it and opened it again and it didn't happen again. Didn't care for this one. Still no salesperson. I walked out. read more

Go to South Austin instead. I have had a consistently miserable experience at Audi North Austin and would strongly caution anyone considering servicing or purchasing a vehicle there. I purchased my 2024 Audi Q3 as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in May, trusting that the advertised 300-point CPO inspection had been properly completed. Within six months, the engine coolant system ran completely dry and I had to bring the vehicle back in October, where it sat for 48 hours just to have the system refilled. That experience alone raised serious concerns about the thoroughness of their inspection process. Now, at the 10,000-mile interval, after already completing the oil and filter change, I was quoted $844 for what should be a basic service and simple service-interval reset using the OBD instrument. The communication has been inconsistent, the pricing feels inflated, and the overall management of the service department appears disorganized. At this point, I would rather drive an hour to Audi South Austin than continue dealing with Audi North Austin. Luxury pricing should come with professional, transparent service. That has not been my experience here. read more

I have three parts to this review: sales and service and the cars Sales: the sales floor is littered with people but if you are buying a car, even a car off lease, expect to spend 2-3 hours there as the process is incredibly cumbersome. We scheduled a time to come in and yet the whole thing took forever and then was ultimately done incorrectly and we had to come back so we could get a refund. At one point, I watched multiple salespeople chasing a bird that had flown into the showroom. It felt strangely symbolic of the whole operation - chaotic, disorganized, and completely missing the point. When I bought a BMW post pandemic, by contrast, the process took 15 minutes to sign the paperwork and deal with payment. Service: While service is ultimately done mostly well, the process is a pain. They do not communicate well and service is often backlogged by months. When you look in the service center, it has seemed under staffed and not busy. The last time we came in, we had some guy yell at us when we arrived instead of greeting us (he wanted us to pull forward more and just wasn't pleasant). We were just coming for a license plate and even that took over 45 minutes between finding the plates and getting them put on. They had a kid come out with an impact driver to remove the screws for the plate. Well, the battery in it was dead, and then he didn't have the right heads, and then he forgot something else. I ended up grabbing a screwdriver from the trunk and doing it myself. Not a huge deal but if you are going to offer to do something, do it right. Cars: They are reliable and drive well in our experience but the infotainment technology in the cars is such a pain. CarPlay will drop its connection from the phone and the display goes black. The Q5 infotainment won't recognize another user. It forgets user profile information. We have had updates for the infotainment and still have issues. My BMW never had issues like this. Audi should fix this and push the update to every user as they come in for service. They just don't have the software part nailed and this car is just about 3.5 years old. Hopefully the newest ones are better and this is more a reflection on the brand than the dealership but the dealership also doesn't seem to be equipped to solve these issues either. All in all, I would not advise you go to this dealership. South Austin is better or just go with another brand. I don't feel like you get what you pay for. It makes me miss our old Honda. read more

Well - I felt compelled to write a 5-STAR review for my recent experience with Audi North Austin & here is why - We special ordered our 85 year old mom a new 2026 Audi SQ5 from Audi South Austin in October 2025 and were promised competitive no hassle pricing - Car arrives in April 2026 and we are told that we have to now pay over MSRP - We were working with Steve the general sales manager that was truly holding us hostage on this ordered car - well this went on for a few weeks and it was not getting any better - I went on line to Audi North Austin to look at their inventory and saw they had a duplicate 2026 Audi SQ5 in the same color combination with same equipment + sport exhaust that any 85 year couple would need :) I sent in an email inquiry to Ashley Morrison who happens to be a sales manager - within 10 minutes Ashley calls me & walks me through the sales process at Audi North Austin and offers me a no haggle cash deal saving us well over $5,000 & this call took all of 15 min - then she offers to send one of her sales team members "Arman" to our mom's front door to test drive & show her the car to make sure it is a fit for her needs - Well it was a perfect fit and they delivered the car and documents the following day to mom's front door and also gave us great money for my moms trade in - On a side note - I have a company that helps consumers shop for the right car at the right deal for over 25 years and I have personally purchased over 7,000 cars for our clients here in Santa Monica California - Ashley Morrison @ Audi North Austin was a pleasure to work and is a Total Pro - A big thanks to Ashley & her staff at Audi North Austin !! read more

My wife's Q5 went into limp mode with a 1500 rpm limit in Blanco, Texas July 7th. We live in the DFW area and Sewell Audi of McKinney is our dealership but Audi warranty would only cover towing to nearby dealerships and North Austin Audi was the furthest north we could go so we chose there. Big mistake. They assured us the problem was fixed though on the video sent by the mechanic he sounded doubtful that there was anything really wrong, just commenting on the throttle body "may be a little dirty" but "don't really see anything wrong with the car." They didn't even test drive it initially because of construction near the dealership? WTF. I work 24 hour shifts and my wife had to rent a car and drive 200 miles to Austin and made it to Waco before the exact same problem started again. Thank goodness it was at least in a town. Once again we had to have it towed but this time to a hopefully competent dealership with Sewell in McKinney. This vehicle has had all routine servicing and has 66k miles so this issue is clearly on Audi, not owner neglect. If you're going to sell cars that are this unreliable you damned well better know how to service them. We are done with Audi forever and I wouldn't let North Austin Audi put air in my bike tire. Bait and switch! We received an online quote with a great price. We emailed to double check the pricing was accurate and were told the pricing was indeed correct. The online sales person (Becky) said she'd have it ready for us within the hour. When we arrived at the dealership we waited several minuets before Becky came to see us. When Becky finally came out she said the vehicle was on a different lot and she was having it brought over. After waiting several minuets, she came back with a salesperson in tow. At that time, Becky told us the car we came to see sold "like 15 mins before you got here". She also resent an email for the sold car but significantly changed the discount (we asked multiple times if the original quote was correct and never got a straight answer but were told "yes"). Also, the correction email was sent AFTER we agreed to visit and was on our way to the dealership (actually it looks like email with price change was sent while we were on the lot and waiting). Becky never owned her mistake nor did she apologize. She simply passed us off to the salesman. We all make mistakes. A simple apology for her error would have saved us time and I wouldn't be writing a poor review. We're very disappointed and frustrated. I thought Audi was a premium brand with premium service (we currently own a 2022 Audi A6). Unfortunately, this dealership practices the same games we'd expect to find at a used car lot by the airport. We'll drive south to the other Audi dealer before we negotiate with these guys. We had a great experience here with Maria in sales and Jaimee in finance. Professional, great service, attentive to what we are wanting in a car, friendly and personable (not the awkward regular dealership interaction). I did not expect such an easy and great deal on a Range Rover. Maria brought out a few cars for us to drive and let us take a longer route for us to really get a better feel for it. Also their vanilla latte coffee here is really good. The inside of this dealership is set up to be organized and welcoming. They have have a snack/drink station at the back that is fully stocked. I also communicated via text with Maria when I went to check out another car at another dealership but decided to come back. She communicated quickly and started prepping documents for us so that the process would already be in motion when we arrived. Strongly recommended. I would definitely come back to work with Maria and Jaimee again. I also loved that there were women working here. As a woman who's been in an out of quite a few dealerships - it's not often that you see a more balanced ratio at a car dealership. I appreciated that from Audi. read more

Three years on, with a new dealership location, service has still not improved. They charge you for stuff you did not authorize. I emailed the Service Manager and he never responded to my feedback. Don't take your car here for service. I now schedule a mechanic to come to my house, and I also take my Audi to another mechanic when lifting & working underneath it is required. Avoid the sales team, they are experts in hiding the truth about the quality of their vehicles. With AI, they will soon be obsolete and customers will be able to order without them as gatekeepers to buying. read more

The new location is much nicer though the parking is a mess. The high-end luxury dealer also owned by Hitech needs to be knocked down and turned into a parking garage. The service advisors, especially Darrell Robles, are at least as helpful as they can be. Darrell in particular deserves 5 stars for going above and beyond. The hands of the service advisors and their immediate managers are tied by years of awful upper management. Brian, the current GM, seems to have a good idea of what needs to happen to turn things around but he's stuck with the daunting task of making up for gross ineptitude on the part of his predecessor(s), a task akin to bailing out the Titanic with a thimble. Hopefully the service dept. continues to improve their scheduling lead times and loaner car availability; it requires some planning as it stands now. read more

The Services Audi North is absolutely atrocious and all my life of driving cars. I don't think I've ever had such bad service. No communication drop my car off on Monday. It's gonna be Friday and still have not received a call or an update. It doesn't take much to just call or communicate with the owner of the car I would never ever buy another Audi. I would never recommend Audi North. I've driven four Audis never had good service in this place. The short: Reasonable to place to buy a car. Terrible place to get it serviced The long: When we bought our car we were promised we would always be given a loaner since we live out of town and if that was not available then they would come to us and pick up the car. The first year they did exactly that and we had zero issues. Then during the pandemic they sold all their loaners and changed their policy on loaners. The service quality itself has since gotten much worse with more up charging and shady dealership practices. I have literally decided to never buy an audi again until we move out of this area solely based on their pathetic service despite havign ZERO issues with the car itself. That being said I have had zero issues with Audi South Austin. They clearly tell you their policy and stick to it and try to accommodate you to their best ability. I purchased an Audi A6 Etron. This is my wife and I's 4th Audi from North Austin Audi in the past 5 years and it was not only the worst experience but the vehicle has been a nightmare since the purchase 4 months ago. To keep it quick the Sales Manager during our time told us that the car we were interested in would be at the dealership a week after it was at the port so I could buy it and take advantage of Audi's 0.99% APR. This was August 2025. The car arrived 2 months later after the offer expired and the dealer has since let the Sales Manager go. Therefore the loss of the APR offer cost me about $7500 in extra car payments. Since owning the car from October to now the vehicle has been a bad dream. It's been at the dealer for repairs 4 times. The MMI system and more specifically certain apps (Theme/Vehicle Lighting) won't work every time. The vehicle has been in the dealership twice to correct and to this day it's a crap shoot as to whether the Themes app will work or not. The ambient lighting choice will not stay on your setting from trip to trip and in some instances will not last throughout your drive switching to another color. The dealer has tried to work with/Audi directly but it's obvious Audi has no fix for the issues . The audio went out one day and I had no ability to use the mobile , voice for text or radio. Dealer fixed that. The right rear window went down and wouldn't go back up. Dealer fixed that. Bottom line: If you are considering to spend $80k on an EV car, buy something else. Give Mercedes and/or Cadillac a try. read more

We came into town from dallas Fort Worth in a new Audi SQ8 that we just bought from dfw audi in grapevine... We didn't have any air conditioning on our trip down and they were able to get us right in and service our A/C in the car letting us know that grapevine Audi never even checked to see if we had Freon (spelling) when we bought the car! What an incredible buying experience! We came in on Tuesday looking for a new vehicle and AJ provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process. As soon as I submitted my financing online he reached out and got me and my wife in the door to look at cars. He was able to work within the parameters of our budget and put us in a dream car! Once we selected a car, Nissa stepped in as the finance manager and she was incredible. Talked me through every step of the process and clearly explained all the documents I was signing. I just bought a car from South Austin Audi. I live up north, been off and on dealing this place since moving to Austin, lastly in 2019 when they were still in the old location. I've been looked at funny for "attempting" to be a customer, overcharged, etc. over years as this was the only Audi location for a long time. The best experience I had was returning a lease vehicle.. the young kid who took my car was nice... I leased my next Audi in Dallas. Hendriks South Austin Audi was great... These guys are crooks. Wanted to charge me $10,000 over MSRP on a car in the lot, and $5,000 over MSRP to order something they didn't have. I contacted two other Audi dealers who both quoted me sticker price (during the pandemic shortage) and said their respective dealerships never charge over MSRP and that it's against their policy to do so. I was ready to buy too. They literally didn't have to try and sell me or anything. I was ready to do the deal. Couldn't have asked for an easier sale. I experienced very bad service at Audi North Austin. I have been getting the below indicator warning frequently (every 4th or 5th drive) in the last 4-5 months, on my 2018 Audi Q5. I left the vehicle with the Audi North Austin for a week and they returned the vehicle saying that they cannot reproduce the problem. But the issue came back again the very next time. The right indicator does not work in these cases. It is a safety hazard for me and I do not know what to do. I feel unsafe driving the car, especially when changing the lane to the right. Audi North Austin also returned my vehicle very dirty with bird poops all over the car. They might have left my vehicle under a tree for over a week. I had called the manager 3-4 times to ask for status and the call was never picked up. I physically went to the center after no responses for a week and the manager was there all the time. One additional pinpoint - they say they won't remove the inspection warning if I did the inspection elsewhere. I don't think any other brand insists that their customers have to do their vehicle inspection only at the Audi service center. It is hard to find a convenient service slot with Audi North Austin. I have to see this warning every time I drive, till I do my next inspection in 6 months. Very bad service and I won't recommend Audi for their service or reliability. True story: the DAY AFTER after paying over $2300 for a 60k mi tune up on our Q7, the 'engine coolant' light went on. I took it to our neighborhood Jiffy Lube, the attendant there filled my engine coolant, told me he had never seen an engine coolant level so low, and didn't charge me for it. More infuriating, when I went to pick our car up I was told to go to the showroom and wait 'for the guys to bring the car around'. I sat there for 30 minutes. I asked 3 times when I would see my car. I was told they valet park the 'finished' cars somewhere else. It felt more like they want me to sit in the showroom to think about a new car. Never again with this place. read more

My husband came into Audi and asked for a print out of a specific vehicle and wasn't hounded to stay to buy. We later discussed our options and a few days later we came to Audi North Ausin together. Toa, our saleswoman was kind, calm, helpful and NOT pushy... she had given us some news we weren't prepared for, however handled it well and guided us to other options that were comparable to the price range we were looking to stay in. We decided to sleep on it and both met again at Audi and spoke to Toa again who was delightful to deal with and helped us with every question we had with a beautiful smile on her face. We ended up leaving with an A5 and all of us were happy! I would DEFINITELY recommend Toa at Audi North Austin for all of your Audi needs as she is down to earth, HONEST, and so very helpful. If you go anywhere but Audi for service, it voids the warranty. Great vehicle but waiting 8 months for an oil change is absurd. Gentlemen, My vehicle has now been in your care for 6 weeks. That's a month and a half. It was taken in before Thanksgiving. This is horrible, horrible service men. I cannot fathom what has taken so long nor the total lack of communication. When you and I last spoke Mr Clauss I was told the car would be ready in 3 to 5 days. I did not hear a word on day 3 or day 4 or day 5, in fact the phone call I received on Friday would mark day 9. On day 9 a voicemail was left saying, "we need to schedule a pick up time so we can get our loaner vehicle back". Are you freaking serious?? Here's the deal, when y'all called on day 9 looking to "get your loaner back", I was and still am in Colorado. This is a total lack of communication on your part. Lucky, what I've done is leave your loaner at my mother's home and left the keys with her. She lives in the balconies woods area and will be a much shorter trip than driving to Bastrop. I am on vacation now with my family but when we do again speak we can definitely schedule a pick up/drop off. For now I need two things: One, I want to know what you are doing to do to smooth out this catastrophic situation. Two, I need to report this to your boss Mr Clauss. So, I am formally requesting their contact information so I can forward this email. Below I will document the last 6 weeks, all of which you and I spoke about 11 days ago. Three weeks before my car was picked up I called requesting both an oil change and to look at why my driver's side door was sticking when opening. I called knowing there would be a wait to have a loaner available as I live in Bastrop and need a vehicle for transportation to work. The car was picked up the Monday before Thanksgiving. The gentleman who picked up my car went over with me again what I needed done, oil change and check why my door is sticking. Three weeks later I received a phone call stating my vehicle was ready. When I called back, it was a Friday, and was told I need to bring my loaner back before Saturday because the business was closed Sunday. I said the loaner was scheduled weeks in advance because of my work schedule I cannot drive there to drop off or pick up during business hours. I teach school and coach, I'm busy. They said basically too bad, I have 24 hours to bring the vehicle back. I told them I will not get a call on a Friday afternoon after having my car for three weeks telling me I have 24 hours to bring it back when the loaner was scheduled as a pick up for a reason! Lastly I told them I will call Monday and speak to a manager about this refusal to pick up your loaner, just as you dropped it off. I called back Monday and asked about the service and I asked about the oil change and was told they have not done an oil change. I then asked about my door. I was told they could not hear a dinging sound in my door. So, in three weeks absolutely nothing had been done. Why hold my car for three weeks if this is the case? Here is the kicker. I have taken my same vehicle in two other times for the door sticking. This should all be documented in my service records. Never, ever have I mentioned anything about my door dinging. Never. In fact, the first time you attempted to repair the door sticking, when I arrived home your technicians had not securely put into place a panel between the driver's and passengers doors. So, I had to bring it back in to fix the panel. Of course the technicians asked what I did to break the panel off. Really? Silliness. They fixed the panel. They told me what the issue was causing the sticking. Well, a few months later it begins sticking again. I bring the car in and they fix it, stating an entire different reason why the door was sticking. This is the third time I have given up my vehicle amounting to 9 weeks of service to the sticking door. This time I was told a third reason as to why the door was sticking. In summary, you have looked at my door on three different occasion for the same issue and each and every time I have been offered a different reason as to why the door sticks. After the three week mark and talking to service department explaining the need for an oil change and to check why the door is sticking while opening I was told, no problem give us a few days. Fine, no problem. About two weeks or so later I get a call saying my vehicle was finished. I asked, ok the oil change was done? I was told yes the oil change was done but they could not find what is causing a dinging in the door. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I explained again that this is the third time I have taken my car in for service for the door sticking while opening, I told them again never, ever was there a mention of a dinging sound and again I told them please just check the past service records. I was told give them a few days. But, this time I decided I better contact the GM because at this point things are needing addressing. The service department here is completely shady. I scheduled an appointment for an 85k service for my Audi. Their website clearly shows the cost as being $214.56 - $271.26. Today they told me it would be over $500! When I told them what their website stated and emailed the screenshot I was told it's a website error. I told them this is deceptive and shady and they did not care and in fact hung up on me. What if I had taken my car to get the service and this was sprung on me? I've had about 8 or 9 Audi's in the last 20 years. I've purchased in NY, San Diego, Plano, and Grapevine, TX. Always had a great experience and great service. About 2-3 months ago I had a problem with the alarm and called Audi North Austin. Their soonest appointment was Nov. 25th, which I took. In the meantime, I received a recall notification for back-up camera which they said they would also fix. I just received a phone call that they are backed up for 2 weeks and will call me 24-48 hours before they have an opening and have me come in then. The dealership has a really nice showroom. However, my experience with a sales manager was painful. After a test drive of the 2023 Audi Q7, we were told that since the 2024 Audi Q7s were released they were ready to make a great deal on the 2023s with "Last day of the month" and other Audi incentives. But when it came to negotiating a lease deal they gave a bad offer and proceeded to use old school sales tactics ("Sign this paper so I can talk to my boss for an hour" , had a patronizing attitude, "gas lighting" me about the price). So l provided them with proof of a competitor's offer which was $300 /month cheaper for an upgraded trim level (Premium Plus vs. Premium). Long story short I had to drive 1.5 hours to Audi North Park to get better customer service. Audi North Park was truly exceptional and worth the drive! I guess Audi North Austin needs more competition in the Austin area. read more

Hands down the most disorganized dealership I have ever purchased a vehicle from. I bought my 4th Audi in 3 years from Audi North Austin. Did not haggle price and walked in the door and simply told them that I wanted a specific car. During the purchase process, I paid 50% of the vehicle in cash. The finance department was terrible disorganized and it is not 4 months later and I still have not received my plates or a my first car bill. I have called the dealership over a dozen times and have even left a message for their GM with never receiving a call back or acknowledgement of this debacle. What a mess. NEVER AGAIN! I will next time go out of my way to avoid this dealership when I purchase my next Audi. Amateur experience at best. read more

Booked an appointment for a long-awaited (over a year since malfunction and the second time in a few years) PODS recall for the 8V S3. I understand that this part isn't the service center's fault. The problem is that when I booked over a month ago, I clearly asked whether the car would be ready the day of. I was told yes so I proceeded to book the appointment. Fast forward to last Friday (day of appointment), I take it in and I'm told that it won't be ready until Tuesday. I mention that I was told otherwise but the service advisor is telling me there's nothing he can do about it. The first two days (Friday and Saturday), I get text messages saying it has yet to go into the shop. Fast forward to yesterday (Monday), I get no communication of any sort and I call in to check on the status and I'm told they "might work on it tomorrow" so that's that. I call in today (the corrected pick up date) and I'm first told it won't be worked on until next week or so. As much as I hate to pull a Karen, I'm livid and let them know. Service advisor corrects himself and tells me maybe later this week. I call back later in the day to speak with the service advisor that checked my car in on Friday. I ask him what's the purpose of leaving my car there if you're not going to work on it. He says I can take the car with me then I'd lose my spot in line. In the meantime, I'm having to pay for transportation to go back and forth to work. If I were given ANY updates about the timeframe of all this, I would've rebooked for a date when they have courtesy vehicles available. If the service advisor that initially booked my appointment told me that it wouldn't be done by the end of the day, I would've booked for a day they had loaners. Back when I initially booked, he said loaners wouldn't be available until March. As of now (2/22) loaners won't be available till May and I'm paying out of pocket for transportation for a RECALL (+ annual maintenance and wheel alignment - both of which are out of pocket anyway). Speaking of which, I have absolutely zero faith that they'll get anything done within a stated timeframe. I got curious and called Audi South Austin's service center. They gave me a date where I can drop it off, get my recall taken care of, do my annual maintenance, AND get my wheels aligned, all by the day's end. Too bad their soonest appointment is May. What really bugs me is that all I'm basically getting back is a "what do you want me to do about it" attitude because their service advisors failed to let me know a correct time frame, failed to update me on any updated timeframes, and basically don't care that I have to spend money while I wait for my car due to THEIR negligence. For a place that proudly states that they were once appointed a Magna Society Elite dealership (Audi's highest distinction for dealerships), it's a far cry from that. The original dealership that I purchased my car from back in Chicago was/is one as well and they're leaps and bounds better and maybe a testament to what that distinction means. Stay far away from here. It's a train wreck and they don't seem to care. -------------------- Editing to add a previous encounter: A while back, I get an email from them saying they'd like to give me an offer on the car. I reach out, to the number in the email and whoever picked up doesn't even work there anymore. I call the dealership, they transfer me over to the correct person and he asks for info and pictures. I send it all over and he says he'll let me know when he gets a number. Never heard from him again. That should've been my first warning to not take the car there. Edit #2: (2/26/22) Was promised the car would be ready by today. Due to some "emergency", it'll now be done by Monday. This will be week 2 without my car. Great planning for sure. I already left the GM below a voicemail a long time ago (even before his reply down here) and I still haven't heard back. Seems rather customary to make it look like they care. This might actually be the nail in the coffin. Considering switching to a Tesla and it just might be a good idea so I won't have to deal with this dealership anymore. read more
