Don't let him touch your car. He's a butcher! He damages parts and claims it's not important!

Wow! I received same-day service. My dealership quoted me a price for axle replacement, but Auto…read moredid the job for $800 less. I dropped off my car, and Mark quickly called me back to explain what was needed and provided an estimated cost. By 4:30 PM, it was ready! I hope the mechanic stayed warm--I happened to choose one of the coldest days in Austin for my service. When I arrived at 6 PM, right at closing, Mark still took the time to explain the issue and how it was fixed. Thank you for your excellent service! I'll be recommending you to everyone. In fact, I found out about you through a friend who goes to All Tune Auto.

Most of the time, getting your car repaired is an onerous task. Finding a real mechanic is…read moredifficult as most shops today focus on parts replacement rather than real diagnosis. And who among us has not felt they were taken advantage of when the bill arrives? Yup, unless you're mechanically inclined, it can be tough to know if the repairs are legitimate. After getting suspiciously high repair estimate from my friendly local dealer (whose name I won't mention to protect the guilty), I looked for a second opinion and found All Tune on Yelp. They were busy but were able to get me into the shop a week later. Well, it took all of 15 minutes to determine that I didn't need any of the recommended repairs. All Tune took the time to show me the parts in question and treated me respectfully. They also looked up my service schedule and let me know when I would really need to perform maintenance. Even more, they didn't charge me for their time. I'll be bringing my car back to All Tune when I need service. These guys are the real deal, the bomb. Thank you All Tune! Highly highly recommended.

TLDR; Amazing, just go. Make an appointment so you don't screw anybody, but great customer service,…read morequality work, and legit prices. After a "check-up" at my car dealership, the dealership listed a number of "immediate concerns" that needed to be address and would have cost a pretty penny (basically, oil change, tire rotation, wheel alignment & balancing). Hesitant to just sign on, I took my car to Dave's to confirm that these concerns were indeed immediate and would indeed cost the amount that the dealership estimated. Gave them a call to give the list of "needed services" based on my car dealership, and they were great about fitting me in quickly. Also, am going on a hefty road trip soon, so they added a free trip check. After the trip check and basic inspection, they did identify that there was a slight alignment issue. The other things didn't need to be address, but I decided to just go for it because of the trip, low cost, and it'd honestly have to be done at some point anyway. What I really appreciate was the fact that they communicated these things with me, showed me numbers that caused the "issue", gave me a reasonable price and let me make the decision for myself. They're great, honest people!

They correctly, diagnosed some problems with my Toyota van and fixed them, except for one important…read moreitem, and that was the oil pressure switch, which was the main reason I brought it in to begin with. So that's kind of odd. It's obvious that the mechanics don't drive the car after they've repaired it because that light was shining in my face the whole way back home and I don't see how they could've missed it. They also tried to sell me a bunch of other repairs and serviced, which were probably not needed. (I'm on a very limited budget). I appreciated the info and simply turned down those other tasks which I could either do myself or postpone for another time. I think the lesson learned is if you have an old car and you're on a limited budget (and aren't we all) watch out for suggested repairs which are simply based on the estimated age of the item or a maintenance schedule, and not an actual malfunction. I've attached the email chain in four pictures. As you can see in there, I explicitly told the technician that the car was brought in for oil pressure problems, and the oil pressure light was coming on. Also, I should add that since I received the car back the engine is running smoothly, but not a single drop of oil has dripped off the engine so I'm pretty sure there's no oil leak. In any case, a small leak would not prevent me from driving the car however, the oil light being on all the time would prevent me from driving it, and I don't think the car should've been handed back to me in that condition.

There are so many other services that they currently offer and I'm gonna share the recent bundle that they have provided for me today. I am headed to Houston this weekend and I realize that I definitely needed some additional services. The largest bundle that they have available, allows me the opportunity for a clean, wipe down some additional oils and treatments for my lovely "Sage" (my car). There is a picture of a flyer for you to take a look at and see what's best for you. I have come to Jiffy Lube for the last 4 year Where I continue to get my oil changes. I only do synthetic per my late husband's instruction. The last thing I want to say is there is nothing like great customer service but not only that there is a young lady running this location on Palmer @Jiffy Lube who took complete and good care of me. The last time I went to a Jiffy Lube and saw that there were ladies working- do the dirty work. This is not to push or pull anyway for this profession, but just to encourage us as individuals that we can do anything we set are hearts to do. I was appreciative of the great customer service, the timely movement, the clear of detail and instruction, and the fact that the staff was attentive to all my needs concerning my safety. Thank you so much for taking the time to take care of our community and showing up when sometimes we don't show up for ourselves. Have an amazing week and see you in a few months.

I started checking in, and the worker asked if I wanted to add tire rotation. I said yes, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. While I waited for them to finish, I decided to take a walk and browse the stores around the area. Fast forward to 10 AM, and I returned to find my car still in the same spot. I was a bit upset to see that it hadn't been worked on yet. I went to get a status update with the manager, and he asked if I had an appointment. I told him I had one at 8 AM. He then started looking for my appointment on his computer and told me he couldn't find it. I pulled out my phone to show him the reservation, but he still said he was having trouble finding it. His coworker chimed in and told him the number of the appointment. He then said that they had cars from overnight that they were working on first. I would have understood if this had been communicated to me when I arrived at 8 AM, but it wasn't. So, I waited for 3.5 hours, and my car was finally done at 11:25 AM. I paid and left with my invoice emailed to me. Please don't come here. They don't care about customer service or setting expectations. If an oil change takes 3 hours, they should at least communicate that to the customer. Many of us don't want to spend all day at an auto shop on our day off, especially since this was just for an oil change. To add to this experience, it was raining, and instead of parking my car in the covered area in front of the shop, they parked it in the parking lot. I will not be returning to any Firestone in Austin. This is the second store location I have tried, and I have left extremely disappointed. They don't respect your time, and if you arrive early, even if it's just three minutes before your appointment, they should also respect your time as you have respected there time by arriving early or in time

Basically at 165k+ miles the timing belt broke on the engine among other things. They also told me they recommended to replace the water pump before it went out since it was at the mileage. It a took about a couple of weeks for the entire repair. When I went to pick it up the day they said it was ready. The engine felt like new and to be honest it felt better than it did before.
