They went out of their way to help me and this means a lot since I was just released from the hospital. My car experienced a flat tire from clipping an object in the road and was towed via a flatbed tow truck to the dealership. The service department then went a drove the car into a slot and because the tires are low profile, they managed to make the tire separate completely from the expensive forged aluminum wheel, thus damaging the wheel in the process. Had to fight to get them to replace the wheel at their expense for negligence. Oh, but it gets better! Had them perform the three year maintenance on the car (I have a four year service contract). Once they finished, which took almost three weeks because of the wheel being on back order, finally got the car back. I then took the car to my automotive mechanic to have a few modifications done (new rear brake kit, and some brackets to stiffen the car's frame) only to find out that both the oil pan, and automatic transmission pans were leaking. So, obviously Audi didn't want to do their job under warranty because who wants to lose money by doing their contractual obligated job? Cost me over $2000.00 to have it fixed by my mechanic. Screw North Audi Austin, and screw their service department. I will never bring any of my R8's (two of them) for them to touch, let alone buy from them. And South Austin Audi Sales department is no better. I put 10k down on a car before it came in, and once it did, they refused to sell it to me unless i used their crappy financing. Mind you, my wife and I have credit ratings of 820 and 830, so our credit union gives us. 1.9% interest rate compared to their 8% rate. read more

We took our S5 in for a service engine light. We had made an appointment online which was very nice and easy to do. Upon our arrival we met with Becca! She greeted us and helped us get set up. Becca handles the loaners, we shared with Becca how important it was to have a 2nd vehicle during this repair. We had just lost my brother in law 5 days prior and it just wasn't in our budget to fly our family out last minute to California much less to have to pay for a rental for no telling how many days. It had already been a stressful week and long story short Becca took GREAT care of us! When I tell you she listened to our concerns and just really went above and beyond to insure we left with a loaner. The customer service we received here at Audi North was nothing short of impressive and impeccable! Two days later as if Audi could possibly impress me more, I received an email of a video where the inspection of my car was being done. The tech talks and walks me through his inspection of my car as if we were on a video call COMPLETELY IMPRESSED at how thorough he was. I must add that THIS is waaaay better than waiting for a mechanic to call. I love the communication. These guys are great at what they do and they definitely give great customer service. DO NOT buy an Audi in the Austin area. It's impossible to get in for service. The Bluetooth went out on my 20,000 mile A4 and they gave me an appt 6 weeks out. Took it in today and they can't look at it until tomorrow. Then said it could be 6 days to get it repaired. Unbelievable. And no loaner or options given. Going back to Volvo. It took us 4 months to book an appointment for a brake noise recall on our Q7. They ended up just doing oil change that took three weeks. No loaner either and was told "tough luck." My sons BMW was serviced earlier in the week, with an oil change taking only an hour with a walk in appointment. Audi should take notes from their competitors down the street! read more

I had to take my car back here because I noticed that the panel on the underside of my car was open. I had taken my car in a couple of weeks prior to this for service and obviously they had not secured the panel. I called and scheduled an appointment thinking they could get me in and out early and I would not miss too much work. Boy was I WRONG! I ended up waiting forever missing work and being late for a meeting while others were prioritized--all for something that was their fault to begin with. I brought my car here for the 2nd time for service. The first time I was told it would take 2-3 hours and was not offered a loaner vehicle. It ended up taking 5 hours and I sat at the dealership waiting. The 2nd time I made an appt for an oil change & repair needed since my car was shaking (it only has 44k miles). When I arrived, they didn't have my appointment. The told me it would be 1-2 hours for the oil change and the car would have to be diagnosed first & would take 24-48 hours. The asked for a loaner and they had none. Even though in my appointment, I explained the service needed. Here I am sitting at the dealership for 2+ hours still waiting on my vehicle. I told them to skip the car wash. I will now be getting my car serviced at another dealership due to the poor communication & customer service. read more

It could have been so nice had I been told to my face that the price quote was for that day only. When I went in for the second time to see an Audi Q5, with approved financing from my credit union, I naturally asked for the best price with my trade in so I could shop it around. This was about an hour before they closed. After three trips to his sales manager, he finally came back with the quote. He had wanted me to bring him the quotes collected from other dealers. Truth was, I was doing due diligence because they are the closest dealer to my home--and wanted to make sure they would be able to also give me the best price. I said I would not come back if I did not leave with a quote, because my husband and also emailed him and said he was going to price shop. We were up front. They were not. In tiny print below a signature was a little scrawled note that said "Today only." NEVER did my sales person say that to my face, nor did I notice it. When I inquired the next day about going ahead with the purchase, he gave me some BS about a voucher on which he based my trade-in value for which was no longer available...and so that quote was no longer valid. In addition, he then let me know it was for that day only. Again, he never told me. Does that sound like an "elite magna" whatever dealer to you? He BRAGGED about this type of service. I can't find it on their website or the internet for that matter. Was he hiding that fact as well? No worries, though. A dealership 100 miles away is delivering my car tomorrow. And by the way--all three dealers gave me essentially the same offer. But only one truly delivered--get it? read more

We were so excited to start our search for our Audi car! My husband and I went to this dealership after a quick gym session. We dealt with James during our experience here. James made us feel unwelcomed and as if we could not afford the vehicles. James did not ask for our names, did not shake our hand and did not open the door (not the gentlemen we were hoping for). James apparently qualified us as not able to afford the car. I am not sure if it was our gym attire (I was wearing Lu Lu Lemon though) and not dressed to the nines to test drive a car. James did not let us drive the vehicle and questioned our vehicle insurance. At one point in the conversation, James did say we could drive a vehicle in the parking lot. If you are looking for the typical stereotype of a negative car dealing experience please ask for James at North Austin Audi. One week later we drove further from our house to the South Audi Dealership and it was a dream come true. The customer service was over the top, they were happy for us to take the car around for a spin, and we purchased our S4 this weekend. We love it and so happy we went to the new dealership. I will never buy an Audi again. I'm stuck with a car that can't get serviced since you can't get an appointment. Their service appointments are months and months away. Poor planning on Audi's part. Also, no loaners, or reimbursements for the time your car is down for maintenance. I'll stick with Mercedes where they are not having, or at least not showing, these issues. The infotainment system in our Audi stopped working after having to jumpstart it due to a dead battery. We called and were told to bring it on Saturday morning. We arrive and they tell us that they won't be able to look at it until Monday morning. So, we agree to bring it back Monday morning. It's Tuesday afternoon and I was just told that they would need it for another day before they can even look at it. They have no available loaner vehicles as all are out. The rep says that it's completely his fault because he wasn't able to correctly inquire about the availability of staff in the shop. I appreciate his honesty about that. I called to make an appointment for my 65,000 mile check up and couldn't get through at 10 am today. After the recording says you're being connected my phone kept ringing for about 20 times before being disconnected. Never put in a queue and I tried calling twice. Still no answer. Worst experience EVER. I've bought a lot Of cars. My experience with North Austin Audi was the WORST I've ever experience. We were interested in an Audi Q7. The sales person was not knowledgeable in any of the features. In addition, this dealership did not haggle on the price at all (on the Q7 anyways) even when a new model was coming to the market. They pushed me to buy their vehicle in stock (old model) . Since they didn't budge on the price, I end up custom building a newer model Q7. I mean, if they not gonna budge on price, I might as well custom built and have all the features I want to pay for since they quoting me MSRP anyways. I ended up custom building and buying a Q7 at South Austin Audi since they were willing to work with me on the price. I ended up saving several thousand by going elsewhere by not paying MSRP, and the experience was so much better. read more

I have been to this dealership twice. I have dealt with service as well as sales. Service department is a disgrace. They should be embarrassed. Rude, complacent service advisors. Charge a fortune, keep your car for days longer and then don't offer a loaner or even lift a finger to help. This service dept is really struggling right now. I called in December to schedule annual service in January and they told me they had a new system. No appointments needed for standard service, just come in January without appt. I persisted and tried to make an appt, but no. Called in January to say here I come and they say that new system was not working, I could get an appt in February if no loaner, but they could not handle recalls until March. I made Feb appt for standard service and March appt for recall work. Called this morning to confirm everything was good for March recall appt and they said they are so backed up, they would need to keep my car-no loaner- from Thursday until next Tuesday/Wednesday. Had to reschedule until June for recall work with loaner. read more

You pay a premium for cars and service - which is fine if you get what you pay for. I scheduled my service appointment a month in advance and was told I would be given a loaner car. I didn't ask about this - this was volunteered to me. When I got to the appointment, I was told they weren't going to give me a loaner and were out of cars. I did not have a day that allowed me to hang out at the dealership but I needed the fix - so, it felt a bit like a hostage situation where you're just stuck. Oh, and the alarms kept going off at the dealership for no reason. So, enjoy your "premium" experience! I recommend Luxury Auto Works if you need servicing. Les at the Cedar Park location is trustworthy, a man of his word, takes excellent care of cars and people - a real premium experience. read more

Don't get your car serviced here. Everyone knows dealers make a lot of margin on maintenance, but this is extreme. Oil Change / Air Filter Change / New Spark plugs comes to more than $800. Seriously? Plus you get the typical dealership practice of telling you what they are going to do before they even look at your car. Not that I didn't expect that, but that doesn't make it a consumer friendly practice. I went here because my normal mechanic was moving shops. Won't make that mistake again. read more

There was a longer than expected time to get a diagnosis, and it was just around the 50K warranty limit. It was hit or miss when the issue arose...but I am happy to say that the service manager worked with me, to get what they could from Audi to cover it. Grateful they did all they could and more. A year and a half ago I bought a used Q5 for $15,000 and two days later check engine light came on. Long story short - over $7,000 later in repairs and check engine light is still on. It's because the car was/is in such horrible condition even though I was told it past a trillion point inspection and all repairs were made. Last visit to the mechanic I was told to just buy another car as the engine needs to be replaced. I still owe $12,000 on the car... Ohhh and I ordered a license plate bracket over a year ago which still hasn't arrived. I'm not positive but I think it's illegal to sell cars without front plate brackets in states that require front license plates. I don't have many regrets in life but buying from this POS dealership is definitely one of them. read more

Don't waste your time with Audi North Austin or Brandy (sales). Brandy was helpful at first but then stopped returning calls about basic questions. This happened repeatedly over the week we spoke. "I'll check on that and get back to you" ... it was 3 days later when I followed up as the weekend approached. "I'll check with my sales manger call you back in 30 mins" ...2 hour later after I called back. "I'll call you back in 5 minutes I promise" ... turned out to be never and I gave up. Brandy and Audi North Austin will completely waste your time with the "old car dealership run around game"... or just poor customer service. Bonus Shady Audi North Austin Car Dealership Facts: The car listing on multiple sites across the internet was inflated with features the car obviously didn't have. Which I pointed out to them. They were fine overpricing the car with false information. A listing mistake or typo is one thing but posting multiple inaccurate and outright misleading features is inexcusable. I bought my Audi A4 in San Francisco and loved it how they took care of my car there. When I moved to Austin I took my car to Austin North service. My breaks were squeaking and they could not fix it even after changing the breaks. Now I just want to get rid of Audi because of terrible service department of North Austin. They never return calls when scheduling or checking on status of car in service. Their excuse is that they are too busy. I love driving Audi but sadly because of terrible Audi service dept. in my area I will have to let it go. read more
