Very embarrassed for their service department! I have never experienced so many recalls with extremely long delays and such huge service problems! I will never have another Audi. Most current issue: On 4/5/23 I had my 2021 Q7 in for service due to the brake light coming on. Service advisor said "no way! there must be a problem with the sensor. You had plenty of life on the brake pads at last service" Well..... instead I left with a quote of about $2,700 stating I needed to replace the front pads AND ROTORS. The multi-point inspection report they gave me says front brake pads are in the red with less than 4.5mm remaining. The service advisor didn't even question it just started a sales speech. Went to get a 2 different opinions from other service shops. Both handed me inspections that my brake pads are completely fine with 8-9mm remaining. They both state that the brake sensor is bad (which would be covered under warranty). I had the car in several times in the first few months of getting it stating to them that I could hear an odd noise and they just kept telling me nothing was wrong......later they FINALLY discovered a serious warranty issue that made my car un-drivable and then sat in service over a month waiting on parts to fix the issue. These are just a few examples....also experienced the awful squealing brakes they are known for in the first few weeks of owning. for the time in service and headaches caused they should return the car payments made for a car I couldn't drive and any service fees. read more

My wife and I decided we wanted a smaller SUV for the convenience of parking and overall city handling. However we have been spoiled by Q5's and a recent VW Atlas Cross sport SEL, which is a first cousin to Audi. Our requirement was a smaller SUV, a Q3, but we DID NOT want a stripped down grocery getter, so we went for a Q3,S Line, Premium +. Audi nailed it. We have had the car a few months and find it one of the finest vehicles we have owned including the previous 5 Audi's. It is powerful, very agile, rides well has all of the safety features etc. Everything Audi put in the larger vehicles. We absolutely love this SUV. I have been a car man for my entire life and have owned or leased 46 vehicles of various brands and this is one of the best. In addition, we were able to deal with Gary Buffington, our sales rep. He is a no BS Sales rep. We made the deal over email and finished the paperwork at the dealer - on time. I also had the opportunity with my Q5's in the shop for service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm sorry. I don't like to give bad reviews but this one is warranted. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman or what but Audi North Scottsdale really took advantage of me, treated me horribly, and ruined my car but then said it wasn't their fault. I tried escalating to management and got the same brush off as my service person. Everyone told me to write a letter to the President, but I never did. My bad. I refuse to bring my car back here. If you are a man, I'm sure you'd be treated more fairly. However, if you are a woman, beware. They are shady, morally and ethically challenged, they take zero accountability for their mistakes and shortfalls. I was returned with a car that had more damage than when I dropped it off. All done while in their care, yet they took no ownership and sent me on my way. This rating is solely for the service department. Out of the two Audi Dealers I have been to (this location and the one in Chandler), this one is by far the Best, at least for women in my opinion. Every time I go, I am always treated with respect, kindness, and patience. I actually feel that they listen to my concerns and are not annoyed by my questions. Jason Fuhs is my service adviser and he is awesome! He provides regular updates on my car when it is in the shop and has kindly worked with my schedule when he needs to speak with me. He is always welcome to explain anything I don't understand and has followed up on any concerns I have had in the past. When I drop my car off, they are efficient at getting me a loaner car so I never have to wait more than 5 to 10 minutes to leave once I drop my car off. Additionally, my car is always returned freshly washed and vacuumed, which is great touch to their customer service. Worst experience in an auto dealership ... EVER! Because my husband doesn't like going through the song and dance at any dealership, I typically have purchased all of our vehicles. My husband wanted to get the Audi A8L. I had several conversations with the Audi Scottsdale dealership after inquiring about one online. I spoke with Jimmy the sales manager and had conversations via text with Shaun Disney. I was scheduled to come in and meet Shaun at 3pm. When I walked into the dealership, not one person said hello or greeted me coming in. Then I went to their receptionist desk where a salesman was talking with another customer. The CUSTOMER said, "I'll let you take care of this lady" and this salesman made a shooing gesture with his hand and said "I don't need to see her - there are other salesmen here." (shocked!!) What's wrong with saying "Hello - let me get someone to assist you" ... that's just simple etiquette 101. Instead, he waved someone to come over. The next person approached me and when I told him that I had an appointment with Shaun at 3pm he said "well, he's at lunch right now". Certainly don't begrudge a lunch, but not when you have a scheduled appointment. He then asked "what are you here for anyways" First of all, I'm not here to see you and honestly, I had to laugh and said "oh, IDK, just to hang out" Really? Why else would I be in the showroom of a dealership? He continued to stare and not have any answers, so I told him "well, I can leave" and THEN he said, no, I'll let him know you are here. A few minutes later Shaun came downstairs. There weren't many people there, I was the only one waiting there and he literally looked past me and then with almost a disappointed look, he reached out his hand to greet me. I mentioned that I was kind of having a bad first impression. He said how so? (1) No one greeting me, (2) a rude salesman shooing me away and then (3) having the second person interrogate my even being there. Do they want to sell a vehicle or what?? Are they doing that well that they can be this rude to new customers? I mean, we were looking to purchase a 100k vehicle - doesn't that deserve SOME courtesy? Is this the kind of service this Audi dealership provides for their customers? I started to think, maybe this was happening because I am a woman. I was shocked with the nonchalant, discourteous and rude behavior, especially at a luxury dealership. I have purchased 5 Lexus vehicles in the past 20 years and NEVER have been treated like this. This charade went on for 15 minutes - Shaun recalled what vehicle I was in to see and said "the black/black vehicle was in the show room yesterday, but it was just taken back to get the windows tinted" "If you don't mind waiting, it'll be a few more minutes". Okay .... you were starting your lunch, you had to "gather your notes" and you let the vehicle get tinting done all at 3pm when we scheduled the appointment. Why schedule an appointment? It's not like you were prepared in any way. I should have just walked in any other time. Sorry, but at this point there were too many strikes against them for me to stick around. I had had enough. I understand now why my husband doesn't liking coming into these dealerships. I kept telling him that the luxury dealerships are not like the Toyota or Honda dealerships. Truth is, I have never been treated like this in ANY dealership. I pushed my chair in and walked out. I told my husband that if he still wanted an Audi, we'll go to Chandler or even Tucson because I will NEVER come back to this dealership. Better still, I suggested he find something at Lexus or Mercedes. Here's the real reveal of how horrible this dealership is. They never called or texted to find out why I walked out. They didn't care - they DON'T care. My questions is, I wonder what Audi corporate would think knowing how this dealership is treating customers and losing sales. I came out to this dealership on a Sunday to check out a car we saw online. When we walked into the showroom it was obvious that all of the staff was very busy, everyone was engaged with customers. I was looking to buy a new car, I accidentally said the name of the dealership wrong (they aren't Chapman or whatever) the salesman corrected me TWICE and then asked where I worked and said "it's as if I told you you worked for ____". Then as I was beginning to close the salesman said I would have to come back tomorrow as he did not want to do paperwork today. My time at Audi North Scottsdale was one of the best sales experiences I have had. Every employee that I encountered was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond. I arrived at the dealership looking to purchase a car. I was interested in the Audi Q3 and Q5. The Brand Specialist, Joel Klasky, immediately approached me and showed me the vehicles that were available. He was extremely knowledgable about the vehicles and showed me how everything worked and all of the features that I was not aware of. I test drove the vehicle that I was most interested in and said I would think about it. Joel emailed me after I left with a proposal breaking down the cost of my trade in and the vehicle I was interested in. The next day Joel and I had a phone call to discuss the proposal and answer any questions that I had. Joel gave just the right amount of communication, was not at all pushy and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I went back to Audi that day and purchased the car. Joel made sure that I was helped every step of the way. He set up a time for me to come back in so he could go over further features with me and made sure I knew how to use the car to its full capacity. I've had a recall for about two years I was told I was going to be put on a list. I've called many times still no fix. I've received several letters stating that parts are available and when I called they said they do have the parts available but no for me even though I've been on that list for 2 years. This is so ridiculous. Don't plan on buying Audi again. I use this car for business and I cannot use it with a recall on it so I've had the car just sit there. Went in today and asked if there was any way to stop the messages that keep popping up on my dash about oil change or inspection. I'm smart enough to know when needed. They said you need an oil change. I told them I just had one elsewhere. I told them it's not the oil change message it is the inspection message. They said go back to who changed the oil and have them fix it because if they have to do it I would be charged. This is a 4 year old A5 with 10K miles on it still under warranty. It is also the 4th straight Audi I have bought from this dealership. It could have been 5 a year ago but their salesman was a jerk and kept cutting down other cars I was looking at. Good luck getting your prorated extended warranty back from this dealership. I'm at 65 days now & counting. I have a contract that says it will be refunded 30 days after receipt of paperwork. The "Administrator" in Atlanta didn't bother to look at the paperwork until I called at the 30 day mark. Then they pass it back to the dealer to pay and wash their hands of it. According to them and the dealer "it can take 4-6 weeks" to cut a check. Such BS. I've made so many phone calls now to get these funds back. Been told twice now "the check is in the mail." My only complaint is that in this time of covid, there were signs on the doors saying masks were necessary and over 1/2 the staff did not wear them and I heard one salesman tell his customers, "You don't have to wear that thing if you don't want to". The experience with Gary B. was great. He is an outstanding representative. Very professional and takes tremendous pride in his role. My challenge is with the delivery of the vehicle and the post-sale experience. When I finished the paperwork I called out the car was still dirty. Windows were not wiped down, the rearview mirror was upside down and not wiped. The reply was you cannot get good help from people who want to work. Not my concern as I am paying for a clean car. When I got home I noticed someone had scratched Wash Me in the hood decal. Yes, Gary offered to have that reviewed but for goodness sake, I should not have to drive an hour for something that should have been resolved. I had to wipe down my new (used) car. In under 1000 miles, I have had a warning light come on and received a notification the car needs an oil change and tire rotation. I should have noticed but assumed that in the dealership's process of getting a vehicle ready for sale, they would ensure the customer was getting a vehicle that does not require an immediate trip to the dealership for maintenance. In addition, I recommend you remove all personal effects from a car you sell. The vehicle I purchased had personal documents that had the prior owner's name and address. Not the information you want in the hands of the new owner. The moral of the story is if you are buying a used vehicle from this dealership do your due diligence so you have a better experience. read more

Listen, I don't want to be that guy that's like, "OMG, these guys are the best... blah, blah, blah," except that they absolutely fucking are. And I only use the word "fucking" so that I can really drive that point home. These guys really are the unicorns of the car sales world. My wife and I had been shopping for a new car for about a month. We visited 14 dealers in total and racked up hours and hours of online car searching. Bell Honda was the greasiest of them all. Le Seuer Car Company had really fantastic service and really great cars to choose from, but most of their cars were branded titles. Not our thing. Mercedes Benz of Gilbert by a mile, had the nicest facility, but were too slow in their negotiating process for us. We had made two other offers on vehicles at other dealerships, and walked out on both of them due to the sales tactics used. We don't give business to companies who disrespect our time and intelligence. No matter how good the deal or how perfect the car was, you have to be willing to walk away. Something we have no problem doing. Then we found Audi N. Scottsdale. We just happened to look at their site online and found the perfect car for my wife. We went in and were introduced to Davis. The man who makes dreams come true. A 22 year old hustler who gets shit done by being straight forward and honest. He knows a ton about Audi's (as he should), but admits when he doesn't know something and goes and gets the answers. "Nobody has ever asked me that before. Let me go find out for you." We loved that. Once we decided we had to have the car, we asked Davis if the price was flexible. He asked what we wanted to pay, "in a perfect world." We told him. He disappeared for 3 minutes and came back with our offer approved by the sales manager. Not an ounce of BS was used. They wanted to make a deal, and they respected our time and intelligence in the process. Greg over in financing (one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet) got our financing done lightening fast. He worked to get us the best rate, and he did. He was honest and straightforward about everything. No typical dealer financing tricks. It was a flawless process with no greasy negotiation tactics used. As hard as it was to believe, they seemed to actually care about our experience there. We were/are so impressed with Audi North Scottsdale. Head and shoulders above the nearest competition. Total time in the dealership, 2.5 hours. An hour and a half of that time was spent driving and exploring the vehicle. 30 minutes was signing paperwork. The other 30 was us cracking jokes and chit chat with Davis at his desk while the financing got worked up by Greg. It was actually quite fun. Not stressful in the least. Audi North Scottsdale has figured something out that 13 other Phoenix metro area dealerships (that we visited) have not, "Customer Experience." It is the single largest driving force of sales in nearly every other industry. It's the "thing" that creates bulletproof trust and brand loyalty in consumers. It's also the thing that seems to be largely missing from the car sales industry at large. They got our business. Not because they had the car we wanted (there were other cars we wanted at other dealers), but because they wanted us to have an experience that would make us lifelong, loyal customers. They nailed it. So, KUDOS to Davis, Greg, and Audi North Scottsdale for making fans out of us. We'll be back to get our next vehicle there as well. I strongly encourage you to go check them out. Went into Audi to look at test driving a Q8. Presently have the Q7 and really liked the styling of the 8, so with no appointment or conversation with anyone beforehand, went into the dealership early on a Monday morning. Surprisingly, they were sort of busy, so I actually had to ask the person answering the phones to get a sales person for me. She came back to me to let me know it would be a couple of minutes, but offered me water and said someone would help me shortly. A few minutes later, a sales person walked me over to Will Youldassis. Was super friendly and knew everything about the Audi line. We were able to talk about the R8, A8, Q8 and even the e-tron. Went out on the test drive, just talked about the Q8, what was different, what was better and showed all of the great and cool things the vehicle had on it. Got back to the showroom, no pressure, no "what can we do to get you in the vehicle today?" stichk and just talked numbers and did the deal. TL;DR: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in my experience with the customer service from this dealership, as well as the Audi e-Tron. The car won't charge, has been in service for 11/21 days since purchase and the dealership hasn't contacted me since it was taken in for service 5 days ago. I originally expressed interest in a 2 year old Audi e-tron from this dealership on May 8, but was told it had to go through inspections/service as it had been a loaner vehicle. I was finally able to purchase it on Friday, May 14, 2.5 weeks ago. The car was delivered to my home with 63% battery, so on Sunday afternoon (5/16), I took the car to a Blink charger near my home to charge it fully before my workweek. It took 2 hours to charge 2%. I was told the car should take approximately 8 hours to get a FULL charge, so I figured something might be wrong with the charger I took it to and that I would just wait until an electrician came to my home to complete charging. (In retrospect, I wonder if it took them the whole week to charge the vehicle). On Tuesday morning, the electrician recommended by my salesman, Bryce, was able to come and install the 4-prong plug on its own breaker at my home. So I plugged in the charger to get the car ready for the next day. When I plugged it in, it initially said I had about 9 hours to an 80% charge. When I checked again a half hour later, the car said it would take 72 HOURS to charge. So after commuting for 2 days, I had 11 miles of range remaining and was unable to drive the car for the rest of the week. I dropped it off to the service department on Saturday (5/22), explaining the issues I'd had with the vehicle. I picked up the car on Wednesday morning (5/26) and Ben, the service foreman, answered questions that I had about what may have been wrong and what was done to correct it. He stated that the codes that he pulled up from the vehicle indicated that there had been "faults" during charging and that he had installed an update to the charger. He thought it may have been caused by the plug at my home, but I re-iterated that it had first been charged at a Blink charger and then later at my home, by an electrician RECOMMENDED BY MY AUDI SALESMAN. He confirmed from photos of my circuit breaker and outlet in my garage that it appeared that the electrician had installed the correct equipment. I asked how I would know what Blink/ChargePoint/etc. chargers would be safe to use if I were out, and he said that there wouldn't be a way to know this. He stated that he'd charged the car and to let Audi know when I tried to charge the car again at home. When I returned home that evening, I plugged in the car again and it initially said that the car would take 9-ish hours to charge. When I returned shortly after that, it showed that it would take 12+ hours, then 16+ hours 20 minutes later. By the morning, it had charged only a few percent, so I drove it to school/work for 2 more days before running out of battery range and having to sending it back for service on Friday (5/28) for the second time in 2 weeks of owning the vehicle. I can not drive the vehicle because it will not charge reliably. It's like having a fuel-based vehicle with no gas tank. On Saturday (5/29), I sent an email to everyone I've dealt with at the dealership with listed emails (Bryce Stodola, Kari Paulson, Greg Buttopietro), as well as the sales and service managers (Chris Powell and Branon Overly), and haven't heard back from a single person in sales or service about what's going on or how we can resolve this issue. Very disappointed. I was so excited about this car, but now I just can't wait for this ordeal to be over. I will not purchase an Audi in the future and am wary at this point of any Penske automotive dealers. read more
