I had purchased a used 2015 Audi A6 Quatro from Princeton Audi. The whole discussion happened through their internet agent. I went to the dealership with all COVID safety precautions and completed the purchase process in an hour. After the delivery, I noticed the second day the Bluetooth pairing was not working. The sales and service team tried to help through Facetime video conference and it did not help. I reached out to the Sales General Manager Mrs. Lauren Waldrop explaining the situation and brief history. She immediately jumped to investigate and helped to order/replace the Bluetooth device at their own cost. The service manager, Carl was also very co-operative and helping to his best of the abilities to resolve the issue. The issue was resolved and my Bluetooth is working as expected. I really appreciate the Audi Princeton Sales and Service team for extending their extraordinary service during these difficult times. I am very satisfied with the Audi Princeton team. Nobody ever returns calls and the employees who answer the phone, when they answer, are not able to provide any useful information. Now that I see all of these other similar reviews it looks like this is how they operate. I can't begin to describe my horrific experience with Audi of Princeton. After 2 months and four days, my car was finally returned. This was the second time it went in for the same repair. The first time, it was there for a month. (Regretfully, the car was just over the "lemon law" period. Otherwise, I would have filed the claim.) And this wasn't the first time with Audi of Princeton. They also had to replace the entire electrical system after I got Audi of America involved threatening litigation because the car would just stop in the middle of the road. Try that on an interstate highway! Moreover, the brand new loaner car they provided was also defective. The back up camera didn't work, the auto headlights didn't work, the radio intermittently didn't work, sometimes the cruise control didn't work, and sometimes I couldn't get the car in reverse. What a piece of junk. I all I can say is stay away from Audi....it is more than the dealership. It is defective design and build! read more

I never write reviews, but I had to leave a note. The guys over at Princeton Audi are top notch. You can't get better than Larry the manager and John Rachmiel! They were so good to me, I kept them late after closing 3 separate times, and they stayed with a smile. They traded cars in JUST FOR ME. Warm and friendly and not your high pressure salesman like you get everywhere else. Ultimately I went Porsche GTS but it was super close call. If you are in the market for an Audi in central jersey you need to go to Princeton Audi and ask for John Rachmiel or Larry. I can confidently say they will treat you right AND give you a great deal. Steadily deteriorating with poor staffing and clearly incompetent workers. Went in for a 20K mileage service and tire replacement with need for a sensor check and now the steering wheel when turning to the Left is stiff as all hell making the vehicle a safety issue on the road. No response from audi on the matter other than the first time when contacted at which time they claimed the vehicle was 'functiong as designed'- what a disgrace. They were told numerous times at this point. If the car gets into an accident and/or anyone is injured Audi will be held liable to the fullest extent of the law.- read more

They took my name and number the first call and promised a call back by the "appointment coordinator". result no call back at all 1 day later. My third call went to a voice mail where I left a detailed message with contact info.. No call back on this one either. WTF Told my sales person that service had been trouble with my last car and he made it a point to tell me service had all new people. Apparently old policies are still in place. read more

Loses profiles and does not see your iphone from one moment to the next. Paid for national service through Payviam for tolls using the transponder in the mirror. Has never worked. Requested a carfax report and declined. Escalated issues to Audi customer experience center. worst customer service woman ever. Stated we did not have enough service visits to warrant additional assistance. My husband is fully disabled senior citizen army veteran who drives back and forth to dealership for help to no avail. Would appear updates to most models apply not only to Germany but US as well. Have called and emailed half a dozen times with no response. read more

In my 3 years of going to Audi Princeton for annual routine servicing, I normally have had positive experiences (this is not including an irritated person on the phone scheduling system who is usually pretty rude to talk to). I am grateful for Audi's prompt and friendly shuttle service-- drop off and pick up from employees named Juan and Victor. That experience was lovely. I will say that my most recent trip was really not enjoyable, and is the reason I will not be returning. My unhappiness is due to the pressure I felt to make a quick decision on some unexpected and costly repairs and the blame that the Audi representative (Tam) leveled on me for not having mentioned them pre-multipoint inspection. The first negative part of this visit was when I discussed an initial quote with my assigned rep. He insisted that I needed a brake flush in this year's servicing. I replied that I had had that during last year's service. He didn't believe me and quoted the price including the brake flush. It was only after my having said 3 times that I had already paid for a brake flush and after he had run it through the system that he finally believed me. I did not appreciate that he steamrolled over my words, and I can't help but feel that this interaction would have been smoother had I been a male customer. The second negative interaction was when, to my surprise, the mechanic discovered that beneath the hood of the car there was a big repair that needed fixing. My assigned rep's reaction over the phone was first to accuse me of having obscured that detail from him during our initial quote meeting. I felt like a small child being reprimanded--and I was upset, since I am not a mechanic and had noticed nothing wrong with the car (and the Audi mechanics last year had noticed nothing wrong during that service, no alerts had come on on the dashboard). Furthermore, when I had basic follow-up questions about the proposed $3,000 fix, the answers I received were inconsistent and slippery. It seemed like one item needed to be replaced, but when I asked about that, I was told that an entirely different part needed replacing (not what was typed on the invoice). I already did not trust the numbers, since the Audi rep had made a mistake earlier that morning (re: brake flush), and when I called some other local mechanics for a brief discussion of ballpark numbers, the Audi quote looked like it was upcharging me at least $1,500. I left feeling yucky and decided I would not be returning anytime soon to this dealership. I went the next day to a local mechanic to do the repairs. He had them done within the week, and the final numbers worked out to be that Audi was indeed asking for $2,000 over the price I paid the local mechanic. This local mechanic also showed me (via video and demonstrations on the parts in his shop) that the dealership was wrong on several accounts about what had needed fixing (the thermostat they stated was the problem was actually fine, it was a different valve connection in the water pump that had worn out; furthermore, the battery that the dealership had told me had "failed" actually had 8 more months of life left in it). The discrepancy between the careful explanations and treatment I received from the local mechanic compared to the scolding and inaccurate explanations from the Audi dealership is outrageous. Audi must fix this bullying behavior: they need to treat female clients better and provide more clear, consistent explanations (ie, show their work) for why a client should cough up $3,000 in one morning. If they had been more patient and clear with me, I might have been convinced to pay it, without having called the other mechanics to double-check the dealership's work. I am sorry to say I see no reason to return. read more

The Audi completely botched a recall of an oil strainer and cost me over $5,000 to correct at another mechanic. While we had the engine open to show Audi where they improperly did their work, they would not come over to address. If there was a negative rating scale of -10 I would give that to them. I have been a long time client of Princeton Audi and will never come back. My SQ5 was brought in for service after experiencing an auto stop/start malfunction reading on the main dash. Technicians indicated that the entire thermostat and water pump system needed replacement and proceeded to charge over $3500. After doing my own research I discovered the total cost of parts and labor (incl taxes) should not exceed $1800. When I brought this to their attention they proceeded to tell me 'too bad. you already agreed to the $3500'. When you do a cursory analysis of the amount they overcharged me on the parts alone it was roughly 2x vs the retail price of the part. 5x vs the wholesale price. This is a fraudulent price gouging operation and should be investigated by the authorities. read more

I took my car in for a routine service appointment and received the worst treatment I have ever experienced in my driving career. Tam, the service rep, greeted me by telling me that since this was a routine service appointment, a loaner car would not be provided. However, I didn't ask for a loaner. It was offered to me when I made the appointment. Clearly, the nice lady I spoke to on the phone was not clued in to the policy. I also asked to have the battery on my key fob replaced since it has been over two years since the last change. Tam informed me that particular service would cost $10- no longer complimentary. Finally, I asked for help with connecting my new phone on the car;s bluetooth and was abruptly informed that software issues between the new phones and the Audi MMI made that impossible. After sitting in the waiting room for two hours, Tam stopped by and informed me that there was a serious problem with my car and the part necessary for the repair would have to be ordered. Eleven days later Tam finally told me that the car was ready for pickup and the bill was over $6000.0 When I went to pick up the car, I was given a bill over 4 pages long listing all the parts that were needed to fix my car. Tam was nowhere to be found. It was left to the receptionist who could only handle the payment details. No one was available to explain the bill and tell me what exactly happened to my car. I am angry at being treated so poorly by people who should know better. Clearly this place is being run by people who cannot handle the truth- that's called cowardice. Never again!! read more

This review is for oil change. You pay $140 for oil and filter change. They claim they inspect other parts of the car. They did not even add air to the tires as a courtesy. Left and a few miles later it shows low oil??? Autumn was very nice and checked with the service dept. They did say the gun was faulty. Nice excuse. So they do not check the actual level from the car. This is giving a bad reputation to the Audi name. Love the car but ... Will try another dealership next service read more

I brought my car in on 2/22 because my key fob wasn't working and I thought it needed to be reprogrammed.  I tried changing the battery several times at home before bringing it in.  While I was there, I had a question about bluetooth, and connecting certain apps on my phone to play through the radio. I had an 8am appointment and was there on time.  I sat for two hours; at some point Tam, the associate helping me, told me they were washing my car.  He later told me that all I needed was a new battery and mentioned several times that he saved me $105 by just changing the battery.  (I told him that my husband tried this several times, but he seemed doubtful).  Great, happy to save the money, but why did it take two hours to change a battery and wash the car? (which was nice, but I didn't care about it and really needed to get out of there.)  Two hours??  It was after 10am when I left.  Additionally, as I was leaving and asked again about my bluetooth question (which would have taken him less than five minutes, because I did get it resolved elsewhere), he said he was in too much of a rush and wouldn't be able to help me with that and that I should come back.  COME BACK?  I don't think so.  He literally rushed me out the door, and on the way out, asked me to give him a five star review, and to mention him, Tam, by name, reminding me again that he saved me $105.  Pretty nervy of him, since my customer service experience was sub-par at best. read more

I love my Audi Q5, and the salesman Saurabh was very personable, kind, and knowledgeable when he sold it to me in March of 2023. But I have to agree with the other reviewers about the service department being poor at Audi Princeton. They seem disorganized, leave you waiting for long periods when they have already phoned you to say the car is ready for pick up. This experience makes me miss the excellent service I had at precision acura before I traded it in. Today, my frustration was multiplied when a police officer presented me with a ticket for an unregistered car-- the same Q5 that I purchased this year in March! How does that happen?! I went to the dealership immediately to ask. They said that when they transferred my license plates from the Acura to the Audi, the license plate is tied to the registration (not the car) and that the renewal was due a few months ago. No one told me this, and I never received a renewal form from for my new car MVC. I wouldn't have expected that within a few months of purchase. I came home and checked all my paperwork and found that I paid $140 in registration fees to princeton audi at the time of purchase in March 2023. So how is it that I now have a violation for an unregistered car in December of the same year? I asked Nick at Princeton audi if he could help since I was supposed to take my whole family on a road trip to vermont to ski the day after New Year's Day. He said he wouldn't be able to check if they had duly registered the car until Jan 2. This was not helpful since we had to leave at 7 am that day to pick up a friend at Burlington airport for our long planned ski trip. So I asked if he could give me a loaner for a week. He was rather evasive. I pressed him to speak with his supervisor, who apparently said no-- that I would have to bring my car in for service in order to swap out a loaner. I said I would pay for an oil change, and for reasons unbeknownst to me, he said no. He said something about that not being justified by the fact that I was planning to go on vacation??!!! What does that mean? DMV is closed next couple of days and I cannot register online. So are the rental car companies. So, in spite of having paid audi for the registration of my car, I am not able to drive my brand new car that I bought precisely for trips like this long-awaited family vacation up the treacherous 7 hour road trip to stowe vermont. From then on everytime I go to Audi Service either for scheduled maintainance or parts recall, I have always gotten good customer service. The service department are a bunch of crooks, quoted me $1100 for front brakes, and then hinted they had a "coupon" and don't worry "they will hook me up" I went down the street to a well known tire dealer who did the front brakes for $425 and did a tire rotation for free as well. The whole vibe of them comes across as sleazy and con artists, you could tell this guy was lying, must be working on commission. I've bought a lot of cars here, seriously thinking of going with something different moving forward, I don't like being lied to or potentially ripped off. read more

Went to purchase a used Porsche vehicle , after going over the car and fixing a number of minor problems as I went over the car. I sat down with Leonardo(who was very nice and efficient) and reached a fair price for the vehicle with a sales manager, I was quite surprised to find that they attempted to make additional profit by charging me a Document fee of $799 and a registration fee of $311. These amounts were excessive and absurd considering it was a cash deal and the registration on my prior Porsche had just been renewed and it was to be just a transfer of registration and tags. Frankly I was angered by the over reaching to increase their profits by these tactics. I offered to pay for the car and sales tax at the dealership and handle the title work, registration and tag work myself , as I had done with other dealers in the past, and never received a reply. PS even reading their contract, the back, gave the buyer the option of doing this themselves. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau shorty to report my experience. read more

First off I usually dont write reviews but this deserves one for sure. I was looking for a sports sedan and came accross an Audi A5 Sportback at Audi Princeton online. I didnt want to go through all the sitting at the dealership waiting games. I just wanted to handle my purchase over the phone and email, leaving me to just have to inspect the car before signing everything, then take my new car home. I had tried this with many dealers for the sport sedans I was shopping for. Most did not listen to what I wanted as hard as I tried to explain to them what I wanted. They just kept trying to get me in the door with zero thought for my time. From the moment I called over to Audi Princeton I was directed to Greg Sconzo. His friendly greeting and patience with what I was telling him (the same I told other dealers), made me feel like I was respected and I was able to tell Greg what I wanted. Greg is a professional in every way. He listened to what I wanted, made my deal over the phone explaining what was needed from me and what was not. Greg took care of me in every way a sales person could with respect, patience, and great service. Even when I opted to purchase a different car than the one we started with, he gave me the same discounts and made the change easily. When I went to see the car it was beautiful and set up for me. Greg explained the car from top to bottom and had everything set so that I learned about the car, signed the paperwork and left without a hassle or a hiccup. The final price was even lower than the contract he sent to me as some fees were estimated and came in lower. That was a nice surprise. The people at Audi Princeton were all friendly and attentive. I got a decent price on a lease on a Q5, but based on their customer service they're lucky I'm giving them any stars at all. First, it turns out that they never registered my car for the free 6 months of Audi Connect Plus and Prime, worth several hundred dollars. I spent a week trying to figure out what I was doing wrong before the helpline told me that Audi Princeton had never set it up. I have asked Audi Princeton twice to contact me on this - once at the end of their email survey ("Would you like us to contact you regarding any unresolved issues?") , and again this morning directly through the Contact Us page on their website. I even said in today's message that I was planning to publish a negative review but would wait until the end of the day to give them the opportunity to contact me. They did not, so either they don't look at their Contact Us emails, or they don't care. There are plenty of other Audi dealers in the area who want your business and won't forget that you exist 24 hours after you sign the paperwork. read more

I give this dealership 0 stars. I purchased 2013 Audi Q5 in 2016 and on Sunday while parked it caught on fire. After reporting this to my insurance agency I reported it to Audi. The service agents showed no compassion or empathy for my situation. I could've gotten seriously injured. The service agent told me the director would be calling me however, I have not spoken to anyone since then. I do not recommend anyone purchasing an Audi and especially not from Audi of Princeton. Worst dealer experience. Bait and switch don't go there for a CPO, bought a car did the deal before arriving. Lack of attention to detail from dealer had to keep asking for things that were promised, poor detailing job. Drove the car off the lot for 15 minutes and AC wasn't coming on. Called back and they took possession of car and said they would get back to me and 4 hours later was told they were out of Coolant and said oh you can just return it since they will put it back on the lot. This was a 2018 car the AC should not be bad. Also how did they miss this during CPO process. Overall, rude shady sales people and no accountability for what they did. Extremely rude sales person. If I could provide 0 stars I would. When we first got there, offered us 2 options to look at out of which none were available to test drive. I found a third option that met our need online but he didn't even mention it till we did. The car was in a back lot and we needed to wait 15 min. Finally liked a car and when we priced it out, 0 incentives, the sales manager priced out the car 100 dollars more per month without even looking at the numbers properly. When we shared other creative offers we seen dealers offer in our shopping around, sales consultant responds with 'well if you like their car you should go buy it'. Continues being super rude and then when we said it's okay. We will come back, can you please make a copy of the quote for us, he goes 'No if the deal isn't good for you today, it won't be tomorrow or Monday. I refuse to let you use it as a shopping tool'. First of all, I already remember the deal bc they didn't offer anything outside of pure division but super rude. Chris's approach was just unnecessary. Will never go back. read more

Hi Everyone, My car would not start in Lawrenceville, NJ. My key fob battery died and I contacted Audi Care. They came to tow my car to Princeton Audi but they got my car started. They would have towed me but I decided to drive a short distance. The service team exchanged my bad battery and gave me a good one. They did this gratuitously and did it expeditiously. I had to ride home to Philadelphia and could not believe, how courteous, proficient and gracious they were. I wanted to mention this since I was not sure that the car would start up again if I stopped and turned it off, and although it may sound like a simple solution they did it for me as an audi owner.
