You guys truly dropped the ball this time. You might have caused me huge grief. You would have had a major lawsuit. What a shitty place to do business with. Mrs. Schwarz I previously composed a review of thus dealership whiich was not outstanding. Today I found out that I was lied to about my auto insurance coverage. I took delivery of a 2013 Mustang convertible on Novv 3, 2018. At the time of delivery I was given a folder that I was told included: bill of sale, temporary registration and temp insurance ID card. I have been awaiting the permanent insurance cards. Yesterday 11/22/2018, yes on Thanksgiving the regular license plates arrived at my hime via FedEx. However no ID cards. I tiok a look at my auto policy online today, and no Mustang covered. Essentially I have driven the vehicle without insurance. These folks are BAD NEWS!!! Purchase a vehicle somewhere else!!! Initially we had a good experience with Audi Princeton buying a "Certified Pre-Owned" car. However, after taking the car to get it inspected, we found several problems that the folks at Audi Princeton refused to rectify. I'll point out two major safety issues that lead to this 1 star review. First, the brakes measured between 1-2/32nds, which may pass some state inspections, but several dealers I spoke with were shocked that any dealership would sell a car with that level of brake wear because of the safety issue. The rotors were rusted out and only about a third of the rotor face was functioning. Upon removing the brake pads they were worn down so far that the underlying metal was beginning to show through the pad. The mechanic was in shock that the brakes were even functioning. Second, each wheel had an incorrect lug nut (wrong size and wrong style) attached. While the other lug nuts held the wheel in place fine, I was disappointed with Audi Princeton's lack of attention to detail in their definition of certified pre-owned. I asked the folks at Audi Princeton to pay for the brake repair. I even shopped around and saved $200 on cost, but they refused because it is possible that I drove the car like a maniac and wore down the brakes in the time between the purchase and the inspection which was about 1 month. I'm not sure how reasonable that is, but I don't know anyone who would buy a $30k car and beat it up like that. I would recommend going elsewhere to purchase a car because I don't trust Audi Princeton. Their policies and/or practices put my family's safety at risk. And they refused to make it right. If you do purchase from Audi Princeton, have a trusted mechanic inspect the vehicle prior to purchase. Your safety is worth it. read more

Leased a car from them 3 yrs ago. Now that lease is up inspected tires and were determined all 4 were gouged. I purchased a tire and wheel warranty from them for $1,600. Fidelity was the warrant company but an Audi Princeton salesperson recommended it and sold it to me. Now its time to turn in car and Fidelity is refusing to give anything toward the tires which they claim are worn! I have 23,800 miles on the car, 6,200 below the 30,000 they allotted! Princeton Audi is claiming their hands are tied, but they were instrumental in selling me the warranty. Oh and by the way found out Princeton Audi doesn't use Fidelity anymore! WONDER WHY? I brought my Audi to this dealer for issues related to leaks and oil. The service department told me it would cost me $3000 to fix which I paid. After I took delivery I found out that the problem still exist, I took the car back. They did some measurements and then told me it is fixed. After I got home the problem resurfaced. I contacted the manager, Carl Mesaros, he scheduled another appointment, again no resolution. Now the service consultant and the manager are no longer returning calls. My request is simple either fix the issue or refund the money. Simple. Avoid this dealership. read more

Family just purchased a E-Tron on 02/09/2022, the general manager at the facility was amazing though I wish I could say the same about the staff with respects to communication / knowledge. The sales person (Rosalia Salam) was very nice though was extremely armature with regards to detail orientation throughout the entire process. First we noted that we did not want the front plate bracket mounted or holes drilled in the front bumper, of course when we get there for the pick up, she had them already drilled. Second failure, I do blame both the finance manager Charles Gonzalez and the sales person because from the initial visit we informed the general manager and sale's person that we were financing through our personal bank. General manager even prepped a bill of sale (which was need for the process, thank you) and after a week we received a call from Rosalia which I had requested to speak to someone about an extended warranty. No one called of course. While there I brought up the topic and it lead to a he said she said situation with no results inevitably. (Also did not understand the maintenance needing to change fluids in an all electric vehicle every 10k miles, from the finance managers?) Inevitably the finance manager could have reached out for a conversation at any time, though chose not to. Last, the vehicle was poorly prepped , scratches all over, though when I brought this up to their attention, someone did come out and detailed it again. (Expectations of a new car should not need to point out scratches all over with few chip paints.) Overall mixed emotions, poor detail orientation / knowledge of vehicle, though very nice people. A few other hiccups had occurred, inevitably all could have been avoided with better communication and organizational focusing on details. I hope they implement better processes rather than excuses and blames. read more

My wife made an appointment to see a Mazda 6 that Princeton Audi had advertised on their website as a Carfax Clear 1-owner car. By the time I make it to the dealership, my wife had already spotted that the car has a hole in the bumper and a dented rear quarter-panel from an undisclosed accident. No matter the salesperson argued, they'd just fix it if we bought it. When I explained that we were not interested in the car and expressed my displeasure at the fact that the dealership decided not to disclose the damage to the car (1) in their ad, (2) when my wife called to make the appointment to see the car, or (3) when they pulled the car up for my wife to see, I was told that the issue was really my fault as the damage was clear in the ad photos (i.e. I should have zoomed in to find it). When we told the salesperson that we were not interested in the car, she persisted in trying to sell us the car by justifying the price. When we refused to listen the pitch, the sales person got miffed that I could be so uncouth as to not let her finish the pitch. At each point where I reminded the sales person and her manager that they had unrepentantly wasted my time through a deceptive ad and attempts to sell a car they knew was damaged (first they didn't know about the damage, then they magically knew the damage was captured in the ad pics). In turn, they faulted me for not zooming in on the pics in the ad (viewed the ad on a computer where that is not possible) and insisted that they had done nothing wrong in attempting to sell us a car that was damaged without disclosing the damage. Bottom line -- The folks at Princeton Audi take a pretty hardline stance on CAVEAT EMPTOR--basically they have no responsibility to disclose anything about the cars they sell, it's on you to discover those issues and then try to deal with them. So, heed their advice and pore over the details in any interaction with them, distrust every assurance they offer, OR just go to another dealership where you have some semblance of a chance at dealing with an above-board group of people. Need further proof of how much regard they have for their customers---read the same canned response to years of Yelp complaints issued over and over again with all the sincerity of some weird PR robot. Very disappointed in the response I received when I called to schedule service today on my 2011 A4. Love the car, purchased new from the Princeton dealership. All service has been through them too. #1 . I was on hold for 8 minutes before a live person picked up #2. I am thinking about my next Audi and considering the Q5. I asked if I could test a Q5 loaner when I drop off my car soon for annual service and full detailing. Anna's response (2 times) was " Oh we can't be sure a Q5 will be available that day." I told her I am very flexible and could come pretty much any day. I want to see if the Q5 suits me. We set up my appointment and then I said "I hope you can try to lend me the Q5 that day, or I am happy to make it another day." Her response was the same "There's no way we can promise you that car." So, here's the thing. I am thinking about (again) spending an awful lot of money and staying loyal to the Audi brand and to the Princeton dealership. I think the service dept. needs to not be so myopic and support the whole company, including the sales team. read more

I would rate this place lower than the one star rating for the simple fact that the manager Rich Martini needs to go back to whatever training school that Audi has for customer service. Yes - it was late and raining and he wanted to be some other place than his office - but he rates a big zero for being condescending, rude and unpleasant. C: I don't want a pink car & wouldn't drive a blue or beige or pearl car, black & white look dirty quickly, so yes, colour does matter on a major purchase I have to look at and drive every single day. C: cool The reason it's 2* instead of 1 is that we liked the other salesperson who was nice, thorough, and decent even to FEMALE buyers. Not sure what Dealer Guy's problem was, but I have no desire to give them business if that's their attitude. Update: we ended up with a fantastic BMW 328i, sport package, which is a good thing. My SIL, a friend in Boston, & another in CA with Audis made between 2007-12 have had major engine problems (translation: the problem is with the cylinders & the entire engine has to be removed to repair, aka repair starts at $7000); even the tow guy from Kovi warned me against Audi A series because he towed a LOT of them. Walked in with my son into this upscale dealership in Princeton on Tuesday afternoon, after the long Memorial Day holiday weekend. The dealership looks nice, clean, quiet. There are many different cars in the showroom so there is no need to walk the parking lot in the hot sun. As we walked by the cars, we saw no less than 10 people in nice suit and ties, chitchatting with each other, a couple was on the phone, but no one has walked up to offer help or just to greet, kind of taken aback but we are O.K. with that, we were just browsing as we are shopping for our next car. After we checked out the cars we wanted to see, including wandered around the 155k R8, as we were about to exit the dealership, this lady walked in to the dealership, as we cross path, we heard this gentleman walked up to her, with a very pleasant voice, greeting her and offered to help. First we thought it was the way we dressed, but we saw the couple other customers in there were not much better than we were, Jeans and T-shirt, with a baseball cap. We were jeans, short, and T-Shirt. As we walked out of the dealership, that salesman chased after us and tried to explain that he didn't know who was in the showroom first, so he talked to the lady first, and said I should not be angry, I wasn't angry until at that point. Come on, be real! Not a good experience after all. I have not brought a car from Toyota because they have missed treated me from when I was shopping for my first car. I hope this Audi dealership doesn't give me the same conclusion, and let me stop doing business with audi. I hate to pull the race card, but blaming it on sex discrimination is just doesn't feel right neither. Let's just hope that it is just a moment of lapse. read more

My experience was all awful. First, the trade in guy undercut me by $2K on my trade-in, which I knew was larger than the offer. Oh well, my bad. Then I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Audi. Once purchased, I realized the rotors were warped. Took it back to Princeton Audi and they denied any issue with the rotors; they claimed it was nails in the tires. So, they docked my insurance coverage for the cost of new tires. The shaking I experienced was confirmed by me, leading me to the conclusion that the rotors were warped, and subsequently was confirmed by another Audi dealer, of which I respect greatly after 22 years of business. Princeton Audi refused multiple times at my request to repair the rotors at their expense. I couldn't take the shaking and had the warped rotors repaired at $2600. Princeton Audi has a matrix of mis-representation and FRAUD. Stay away. Stay very away. Bottom line, Princeton Audi sold a defective Certified Pre-Owned Audi and denied any responsibility for its defects, which were confirmed by a reputable Audi dealer. read more

I have purchased 4 new Audi's in 11 years for me and my wife, so obviously we have been loyal customers. Tonight I experienced an interaction with one of their service dept reps that was just horrendous. She was rude, confrontational and belligerent to an unbelievable degree. I guess Audi just doesn't want to sell cars. This is on top of a really bad experience receiving two new cars (A6 and S4) two years ago. The prep on the cars had numerous mistakes, and the information given to us with the cars was incomplete in the most important areas. As modern cars get closer and closer to computers on wheels, the Princeton Audi sales staff become progressively more clueless. Go somewhere else. What a process! Our lease on our Infiniti coming due, so my hubby and I created a list of SUV's to look at. This included: Audi Q7 3.0, Mercedes GLE305, Volvo XC90 , Explorer ST Sport, Infiniti QX60, Range Rover Sport, Buick Enclave, BMW X5, Acura MDX, Cadillac XT6, Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, Lexus RX350L, and VW Atlas. He was not pushy, he was super likeable, he explained and answered every single question we had along the way. Throughout the process we would eliminate cars and started narrowing down our selection. We eliminated one car right off the bat due to a very pushy salesman. As we continued to chip away at the SUV's we were looking at, the one thing that kept rising to the top was Greg. He would check in without being pushy. He was working with us to get a fantastic deal and we 100% felt Greg was on our side- thus no need to go elsewhere. In the end Princeton Audi won our business not just because the quality product (because that was evident upon test driving), but also because of the top notch sales experience we received from day one, throughout the process, to delivery. I just purchased an A6 and I particularly liked not having to haggle like my life depended on it. We went in, pointed at the car we liked and Lou Ann helped to make it happen at a price that worked for me. She was pleasant, informative and her ultimate goal was to make certain that we walked away from the sale feeling good. I feel so good that I will probably replace another car I have with a Q7 and should I do that - Lou Ann and Princeton Audi will be the route I take. Her follow up was excellent, she didn't have the typical, irritating car salesman pitch and it just felt that she was trying to make sure that we walked away happy. I must say that I love my Audi and it's unfortunate that I can't get good service from Audi in central NJ. . I brought my car in for several problems including an oil change, back light out, phone sync problems, etc. Princeton Audi could only change the oil and could not fix the light or phone. The bigger issue is the problem I had a month later. A complaint to corporate Audi USA only resulted in a 10% coupon and an apology. Unfortunately, the corporate office doesn't seem to have confidence in dealer repairs either. I also feel that you see a company's true colors on how they handle issues when something goes wrong. Princeton Audi and Audi corporate USA failed miserably at handling this documented problem My experience with Flemington Audi was even worse when I had the electrical system repaired. I think this is regional as friends from PA have had a great experience with Audi dealers. It might be worth the extra drive. read more

We put a refundable deposit down to hold a vehicle. We decided not to take the car a day or two later. I sent an email to the sales person asking for her to just shred the check. No reply. I check our bank account to see the check was deposited so I emailed again. No reply. Called. No reply. Called the sales manager. No reply. I got the check yesterday thankfully, but can't help but think they purposefully refused to get back to me. This is a review of the service department. I have a certified pre-owned Audi A-3 and had all of my repairs done through this dealership for the past 5 years. For the last service I decided to go to a repair shop that was closer to home. Following the service I experienced bucking and extreme variations in the the tachometer at random times. The other repair shop looked at it, couldn't id the problem and told me that "It is no big deal because the check engine light isn't staying on". Mind you, I explained that this is a safety issue. This bucked on the NJ turnpike once and almost caused an accident. Disgusted with that response; I went back to Princeton Audi and couldn't be happier. They had a difficult time diagnosing the problem but instead of sending my car home they drove it multiple times hoping to experience the problem (to help diagnose). After a few days of the car not acting up they offered to fix a valve that looked to be the possible mis-fire. After the valve was fixed they took the car for a test drive and the silly car did it's bucking on the mechanic. Luckily, the check engine light flashed on for a moment (as in the past) but they were able to get the car on the computer quick enough to id the problem as a faulty air intake valve (I guess that usually when they go, they go completely...). Anyway, I couldn't be happier with this group of mechanics. I also have to kick myself for trying somewhere else. This group is top notch and the few extra miles to drive there for services and repairs is WELL WORTH IT. I highly recommend their talented repair mechanics!!!!! read more

Overpriced. Always find "extra" that needs to be done.I have spent over. $7000 last year for them to fix my air suspension system in my Audi All-Road. It has never worked properly since they worked on it. It has been back three times and never properly fixed. It's as if they guess at what is wrong, I pay for it on their recommendation and they have no idea if that is the actual problem I am facing another large expense at another dealer.
