I recently bought a car here and from start to finish, had an excellent buying experience. It was my first time here and I bought a certified pre-owned car, so I am no legacy high-roller buying a V10 R8 or RSQ8. Just a guy looking for a used family mover SUV. I worked with Juri, who was a very nice, relaxed guy, not pushy or sketchy. Very helpful. I never felt like I was being sold, it was a very consultative, help-you-find-what-you-want approach. The test drive was easy - here are the keys, toss the car seats in, and go drive around, let us know what you think when you get back. When it was time to sit down and talk business, they were clear on the vehicle history and walked me through everything they did to prepare the car (new tires, etc.). It was all transparent. After you press send and are ready to go, they get all the gears working to register, insure, finance, etc. the car, so you can sign and drive. Our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, we felt we were being unfairly judged and treated differently. The staff's tone came across as passive-aggressive, and we were met with unnecessary glares despite clearly stating that we were just browsing the cars on display. Service & parts staff has no older Audi knowledge. For autos at Audi prices you expect to drive them past their warranty. But they WILL diagnose on your nickle. And they still will just make a WAG. They will try to sound like they know what they are talking about. Don't be fooled. read more

***This review is for the service department. Absolutely horrendous. After test driving an Audi A6 TDI prestige that was inspected by this service department, the vehicle "developed" a coolant leak and was brought to the attention of Joe Bosco and the used car manager at the time, Curt. I was told that the leak would be repaired once the vehicle was purchased and it would be covered under the TDI extended warranty. The car was ultimately purchased, after doing a prepurchase inspection at another independent european auto shop, on 10/25/2022, and was eventually brought to the service department at Audi Richfield. The vehicle was dropped off on 11/21/2022 with Timothy Storms, a very professional service writer. The vehicle was picked up by me on 11/28/2022 at 4:15pm and drove the 24 miles home and parked it. The next morning, November 29, 2022, after starting, it sounded like it was low on oil and was LOUD. Pulled the vehicle out of the garage and decided it was not sounding good, so backed it back in the garage. Had the vehicle towed back to Audi Richfield. As stated by Mr. Storms on 11/30/2022, "Our fault on the leak not securing something. There is a noise in the engine area we are working on locating the issues with that." They also claim that the "oil wasn't low enough to cause damages that I can see." Said oil leak has created an oil stain on my new concrete driveway. 12/2/2022, reached out to Tim for an update and the response I received is as follows, "..by the looks of it there is a noise in the timing and or chain area. The leak is fixed however the noise is still present. After further findings the timing chains have been determined the cause.." 12/5/2022, I am notified that there is "no more assistance, help, or goodwill...from the store and or Audi at this point." I was sent an estimate for the repairs of $14,603.03. The next day, 12/6/2022, I was informed that the repair could be done for $9,000. While the vehicle was in their care, the oil soaked underbody panels were put in the backseat of my biege interior sedan and now is in need of a detail. I towed this vehicle to said european auto shop to have all of the same gaskets and parts replaced. The diagnosis at Audi Richfield was not only wrong but was almost thievery. The independent shop that I brought the vehicle to found a metal bracket in the #6 intake port under the intake manifold and was most likely knocking the valve. When I was on the phone with the service department director I mentioned that this could be a training opportunity but he was not interested in what I had to say because, "he has the best technicians in the industry". I also asked if this repair could be paid by the Audi service department, and was told "that is completely out of the question." This service department needs to make some changes. They advised me that they don't do initial inspection videos on the "AS-IS" vehicles that go to their department. When they accept fault but turn around and tell the customer they are responsible for this inaccurately diagnosed repair, that is unacceptable. I have also left a message for General Manager Joe Bosco on 1/5/2023, and have yet to see a returned call. read more

Audi Richfield sold us a car under the impression it still had the factory warranty. A month after purchasing the car, the vehicle broke so we took it to our local dealer for warranty and they informed me that the warranty was VOID and gave me a date. The warranty was void the day before we purchased it. we have tried everything with this dealership and gave them months to fix this and to come to a resolution. Nothing ever happened. They won't stand behind what they sold us and they scammed us. Asked to return the vehicle and they told me they wouldn't do that. DONT BUY FROM HERE read more

They sell garbage! I have never had an Audi have so many issues- just falling apart! Bought a two year old used Q3 and should have known immediately when there started to be some strange noises. I asked about it within days of buying the car and brought up that the glass looked chipped. They said it had been taken care of and that the noises were weather related. The noises have not stopped and also within 6 months, as I was driving down 77, the chip I complained about cracked wide. It took numerous call and emails with auto replies before I got a response. And whilst hey did eventually change the screen- they refused to pay to put in Audi glass. Now- a few months later, a half hour ago- I was driving down the road and the rear view mirror literally just straight up fell off. It's hanging by a chord. Are you fucking kidding me? This place sells lemons. I've had four Audi's before and this is garbage. They bring in hard driven, shittly-fixed Audi's and sell them here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I will be going back to Audi Minneapolis and Audi St Paul. Worth the drive for a sure deal. Additionally in speaking with other Audi buyer I've been told they've encountered similar issues. I can't believe it took this much to find out the truth with this group. Since the dealership refused to be decent I want to respond here- it was not 8 months after I bought the car- it was less than 6 months. I purchased my car in February of 2018. the glass cracked In late June. It took Dave Nixon almost 2 months to respond to me after an auto glass place and I both contacted them repeatedly. They also tried blaming me for the chips but also have photos of them from when I drove the car off the lot. I've attached some proof. I have more. They should be warned. In my search for my Audi R8 V10 Spyder Plus, I found Audi Richfield, I was very fortunate to have Jake P an Audi Brand Specialist to help with the purchasing process. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. He made the whole experience smooth and painless. Not only did they have the best selection and the right options i wanted, they were prompt in making sure i got all the information i needed to make my decision. They never played games and were very straight forward and they gave me a GREAT DEAL!! The deal was so good I flew from Southern California to Minnesota to pick up my new R8 Spyder Plus and drove it 1900 miles back to Los Angeles. When I arrived to Minnesota, Jake had offered to picked me up at my hotel to the dealership. Then I was presented with the Car which meticulously detailed and inspected to made sure it was perfect. Although I typically have had good experiences with Audi Richfield for service appointments, my most recent visit did not go well. I was interested in getting some new tires and had received an estimate from Audi Richfield earlier in the year. Now that I was ready to buy the tires, I called again to get the latest pricing. I was given a price that was actually slightly less than the earlier estimate, and I confirmed this was an "all included" price. The person I spoke with in the parts department then made an appointment for me to bring in my car. After receiving several reminder communications about my appointment, I showed up for my service as planned. When I checked in, the price for the tires was suddenly $200 more than what I had been quoted over the phone. They "didn't know why" I was giving the incorrect pricing. In addition, they said the price did not include a tire alignment (another $190), which they "strongly recommended." Although they finally gave me a price for the tires that was only a few dollars more than the price quoted over the phone (not including the alignment), they then told me the tires were not in stock and they would need to order them. Why make an appointment and have me come in for new tires when the tires are not even available at the dealership? They couldn't answer why this was the case. So, I had to leave my car overnight, and they had to have the tires delivered in the morning. This meant I didn't get the tires I wanted on the day of my appointment, I had to deal with making multiple trips to the dealership, and the cost was not what I had been quoted. I'm giving Audi Richfield two stars instead of one because at least they came close to honoring the price I was quoted over the phone. However, the rest of the experience was pretty much a disaster. I hope this poor level of service does not become a pattern. read more

After seeing a response from the owner of Audi of Richfield expressing his concern for the unresolved issues and promising timely follow up; 1 1-2 months have gone by and still no follow up response. We had hoped to resolve this with him and be in a better place to once again recommend this dealership to fellow Audi enthusiasts. As a member of multiple Audi Forums I have heard many stories of bad Audi Dealerships and was hoping that Audi of Richfield was NOT one of them. Only time will tell and we are still hoping to get a response from the owner. We are reasonable people however we wonder how much longer we should have to wait for a response. At th the ball is definitely in his court. Still no response from this owner and we still have a rattling sunroof. We have been more than patient with this dealer and will not be doing any more business with them. They're only interested in getting your money and then giving lip service when you have an issue. Based on our experience we would recommend that people steer clear of this dealer and seek out another. Went in for an oil change. Was told there would be a recall fix. They said during appt setup they could do it in an hour. Upon arrival told recall fix is 3 hours or more. It may not "take". If that occurs they need to ship in something from Germany and car won't work. I was going to proceed with oil change only and come back for recall. The attendant went through motions of bill. When going to sign I saw it's over $600!!!! I asked why? The person had no idea. Something related to the recall. Why am I paying for that? A line was forming behind us. There was over 500$ added to the bill for this. For what? He researched. I was going to be contacted. I reset an appointment for the recall and oil change. I was going to be called and told what the extra charge is for. Its Many days later... no contact. I could see the attendant was embarrassed. He seemed like he genuinely wanted to help but no one had the info he needed. I'm bummed. Always had accommodating service here. There was no offer of discount for wasted time. They ran car through wash. It left spots all over and made it dirtier. The folks could have at least done a 1min towel dry. They cleaned my drivers floormat which was a nice gesture, but it was left with standing water. The seat was wet too. They need to study a Lexus dealerships service and take notes. read more

They were suppose to do a full drive train inspection but didn't and told me nothing was wrong when clearly there is something in gbwrong cuz I can't stay on the road. Now I'm stuck with a car that I can't drive and they laughed at me when I complained. I recently located a specific used vehicle with specific features at Richfield of Audi. The vehicle was not an Audi however a trade in they had in inventory. I worked with Jason who is very personable, professional and low pressure during my test drive. Following this, most of our negotiations took place via email, something I really appreciated as the stress of buying a car and negotiating with multiple sellers can be overwhelming. Jason is extremely professional and low key no pressure making the process all the more enjoyable. My new truck was easily the cleanest in town and the final price was extremely reasonable. Title taxes, closing etc was very efficient with no surprises. Jason followed up with me a week later, very much appreciated. The Audi's on the floor are amazing also. read more

Very unprofessional dealership and staffs. We visited this dealership on the afternoon of 3/10/18 and was ignored completely the moment we walked into the building. There were an older lady standing beside the cubicles and a guy watching NBA highlights on his PC who decided to ignore us and treat us like a low priority. We decided to walk around the first floor showroom checking out the newer model Audis while waiting for staffs to come to us but NO one came. After 5-10 minutes, we were standing awkwardly beside the elevator when the older lady decided to come ask us what do we need disrespectfully. We told her we are here to check out the certified pre-owned Audis where she directed us to take escalator to 3rd floor. We took the escalator to 3rd floor where no staff can be find or seen and we started checking the inventory of cars without any clues. There was no price tag on all the pre-owed Audis. Before we decided to take the escalator back down and just leave, another lady asked to help us. We expressed our disappointments with the service we received. She explained that the location is shorted staffs because of Auto Show going on at Minneapolis. This dealership needs to re-train its staffs well and respect the customers. My experience was somewhat unique. I live in Oregon and wanted to purchase a used Volvo in Minneapolis for use in a second home in Iowa. I found just what I needed at Audi Richfield and called them and got connected to Brad Davis. I can tell you he was terrific. He walked me through the process painlessly and seemed to have all the time in the world to talk to me. My son lives near Minneapolis and drove there today to take the car out for a test drive. Looking at the reviews of this dealership, I would say that maybe they had some challenges when they first opened or possibly the review writers did not deal with a sales person by the name of Mike Dahl. I was in the dealership about 3 weeks ago and I met Mike as he was helping me locate a pre-owned late model A6. I had a few major "must haves" on my list of what I wanted this pre-owned A6 and unfortunately they did not have anything for me at the time. As it tuns out, I have found the car with my preferred requirements at another metropolitan area dealer, so I moved quickly. The Richfield dealership has sport models, which are always fun to look at, but there will be no other reason for someone to go there unless you want to be lied to, treated with no respect, and given false information about their vehicle or parts. Are you guys properly trained I think not as otherwise you would have handled our issue that 2 other shops swore that the timing chain had slipped and you take my car half apart to tell me some bogus story about a cam shaft issue that only gets damaged when the timing chain slips. You guys really don't care otherwise you would make some amends but I know I will get another response with words that mean nothing. My wife and I will NEVER set foot in Audi of Richfield again. In our 40+ years of buying new cars, we have never been treated so poorly and dishonestly. Never. The amount of disrespect and the unwillingness to negotiate on a ~$57,000 vehicle was astonishing, at best. We had factory ordered a 2018 Q5 in June with the understanding that we would negotiate the price and a trade in close to delivery. We were 3-4 weeks away from that delivery. Many things set off red flags. Such as purposely low balling us by thousands of dollars on the trade in. (That's a whole other story.) Telling us that we were locked into the price when we ordered (assuredly not so) and after three hours of futile negotiating, being told that they will not negotiate below sticker on a factory order. This was all BS from the sales manager, Bill Sigel. This man constantly talked over us, interrupted my wife every single time she spoke, and was haughty, arrogant and had absolutely no customer skills. We felt like we were stuck in a Carhop rather than a luxury car dealership. After several hours of this BS, we had to walk from the deal. Of course, having to have the last word, Mr. Bill dismissed us and told the salesman to refund our deposit. We were very angry by this point. The following day we went cross town to Audi of Minneapolis (Wayzata) and started over, gaining even more car for thousands less. In about an hour. Professional folks with actual people skills. I purchased a used 2016 Volvo XC90 there on October 22nd. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours for the finance manager I wrote a check and left with the vehicle. I had some concerns because there was water no the center console. On the way home I found that the main screen was turning on and off by itself and the mode selector dial did not work. In addition the warning light came on about the VOC (Volvo on call) being inoperable. This same warning came on every time it was started after that. I called in immediately and told them of the issues. The next day it came up with another error code related to one of the cameras. In addition it had water sloshing around in the ceiling somewhere. On the 24th I returned the vehicle. This part does not bother me. Now I asked to have my money refunded. I was told I would have a check on Monday October 28th. I heard nothing. I called in on the 29th and they said they would call back which they never did. On Wednesday I flew to Chicago and purchased a different vehicle. Since they still had my $40k I had to borrow against my line of credit to pay for the new vehicle. Finally on Friday I called again and left a message. On Monday I called again when nobody had bothered to call me and asked when I would get my money. I was told I would get a check on Wednesday November 5th. I asked for them to pay the interest I had incurred because of their policy to hold my money 10 days before returning it. The sales manager told me he doesn't pay interest. I asked him why I should have to pay the interest after I'd been inconvenienced and he just repeated that he doesn't pay interest. So I'm out about $50 in interest for them trying to sell me a lemon and then holding onto my money for almost two weeks. What a bunch of crap. Glad there policy wasn't 60 days before they returned my check! What a joke. read more

Contacted Audi Richfield's service department 6 times over three weeks to get my wife Q5 in for warranty repair. Each time I called I was transferred to the service department. Then got an option to leave my phone number for a call back. No one called back----six times------ I then called again and just waited on hold. I hung up after 14 minutes. I then called back and asked to speak with the Dealerships GM. Got his voicemail. Left him a detailed message regarding my experience in trying to get an appt for service. I left my phone number so he could call. He never returned the call. Clearly a poorly managed dealership. I end up calling Audi of Minneapolis and set up an appointment on the first call. Dave, to be fair, the car was purchased at another dealership, I really didn't think that was a concern as the initial concern was service. Sorry I wasn't clear. You are correct, the wreck on the carfax didn't show up until months after the car was purchased. We did everything that was recommended by the Audi Richfield Service Team - was repaired and paid for out of pocket by us as it should have been. Only to uncover that everything that was identified as THE issue, wasn't the issue. "Let's try this and see if this fixes the issue." To be fair again, this is what the computer was likely telling the mechanics. We listened, we trusted, we agreed to the multiple efforts to fix the Audi by the Richfield team, costing us a lot of money to find out the Richfield Audi team couldn't fix the unfixable, The Audi team was more than willing to recommend more work with no end game in-sight until my wife was in tears and thousands of dollars later. More work was recommended by Audi Richfield and we decided it wasn't worth it anymore. We then asked to trade it in and your offer to trade it in was less than what we expected after everything we just spent. We were told then, the car would be essentially "junked." This should have been shared with us long before WE determined it was unfixable. We took the car elsewhere, we were honest about all the issues and received a fair deal for the new Mercedes we own. You can try and spin this anyway that you want but this is how we felt. The second Audi was involved in a flood, correct. Bad luck on our end but we expected to be treated fairly since we owned 4 Audi's in the past 10 years. The issue was sales team this time. The sales team let us walk away from purchasing a used car over a upcoming service need - estimated to be 1K. The service need was less that 5K miles from being due according to the mileage on the car. No biggie, we asked to talk to the manager and that wasn't an option and we purchase another Mercedes.
