If you don't know what you're looking for, don't come to Audio Motorsport. I purchased an amp and sub (demo) and was guaranteed no problems. If a problem should arise as stated per the receipt "AMS provide repairs warranty for 6 month in ALL products purchased and INSTALLED at AMS". Well, right before the 6 month mark (June 14, 2021), the subwoofer stopped producing bass as when I first got the work done. I brought my car in and Nick proceeded to tell me that I needed "Better Product" or "Maybe it's your car radio". He then told me that the warranty is covered through the manufacturer and that Audio Motorsport is not reliable for anything. He then told me AMS changed ownership and there was a new receipt. To try to resolve the matter, adjustments were made to the AMP and music was played loud at MAX bass to cover the faulty product. He then said I don't know what I'm talking about and asked what more I wanted. Talk about great customer service! Overall, do your research before coming here or don't come at all. Was shopping for a car stereo for my '02 Ford F250 Crew Cab truck. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and shown around. My son just purchased a used car and wanted to upgrade his electronics. We used to go to Chuy's in Redondo Beach/Lawndale but I learned he closed his shop. Fortunately, I still had his number so I gave him a call and he highly recommended Audio Motorsport in Carson. I contacted Zack who told me to come down and set up an appointment with AJ. I had seen the shop before since it's close my workplace. A.J. was really patient in explaining what would need to be done and making recommendations to ensure our satisfaction. They were very busy so we left the car overnight so they could take their time on the install. It turned out to be a much bigger job than they thought, installing the wiring for the backup camera and extra auxiliary & USB cables on an older car but they stuck to the original quote even though it took longer to finish. We got a call early in the afternoon that it was finished. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the installation which was top notch. A.J. went over the features with my son and reminded him to keep the old unit in case we want to transfer it to the next car. He was even nice enough to throw in some T-shirts before we left. These guys were very professional and their prices are extremely fair for the quality of their work. There may be cheaper installation shops but you won't get the same level of workmanship or customer service. They treated us as well as others who bring in Teslas and modified race cars. This place is gem, I have an LX470 and live 120 miles away from this place. All the shops in my area said there is no after market radio that would work with my system due to it having a climate control built it with the display. Zack at Audio Motorsport said he can do it while we discussed it over the phone. Zack and his crew are very detail oriented with a high quality of work and performance. A specialized fiberglass JL audio subwoofer box with two 12's made custom for F150's, two amps - one for the highs and one for the bass, all new speakers and a bass knob within perfect reach. I looked around online for awhile and called a few places before I decided on Audio Motorsport because I wanted to make sure I was dealing with professionals who seriously care about the quality of the system and the instillation. Let's do address the so called lies you claim i stated. 1. you claim i don't own 3 businesses: first I own an iPhone repair shop in san diego, second im a personal fitness trainer at team body shop finess and third im a contracted wrestling coach at mt. miguel high school 2. You claim i live out of my van with my dog: I do use my chevy express van to stay in when i travel and not at my house in san diego. I do have family in both long beach as well as san diego. I do take my amazing pit bull with me from time to time when he's not with my family in san diego, and when i do bring him up to long beach he is at my family's house where theres a yard and another dog. 3. You claim im an amateur fighter with no record: I'm a professional fighter with a record of 2-0 and an amateur record of 8-0. I also have 2million views on Worldstar when i kneed my opponent in the face and his mouth piece went flying. And yes when im not running my businesses i am training and having a good time with my friends and family. so now that we have exposed "YOUR LIES " lets do move on.. you say you take pride and are the best shop in town and to take a look at your ratings on yelp and google (which by the way thanks for reminding me to post a review on google too). I wonder how many people you have swayed to change their reviews with threats, if you wanted to make this right you had all my information to call or you could have slid in my dm on instagram as you did previously did to let me know that you sent me a private message on yelp. i rather now just show what shady,lying, overpriced, and how you tried to extort me. You claim this job was difficult.. this is an empty cargo van, the back up camera is a drop in that goes in place of the rear 3rd break light. The wires goes straight thru to the inside of the van and connect to a long cable that runs up to the front. The hardest part of this install was taking the dash panel off which is why i came to in the first place. i had the deck, wiring harness , backup camera etc. i bought the speakers from you and the just go in place of the factory speakers, nothing hard about it, plug and play, its not like you hooked me up with components. You claim there is an issue on these vans with the factory speaker wire( never had an issue before) .thats strange, if you're such a professional shop then why didn't you mention it to me or just fix it. I belong to many chevy express van forums and no one has ever heard or seen that issue, sounds like one more lie to add on to your pile. Like i said in my review , i never asked for a discount of any kind i just wanted the job done right. Also not to mention you only did one window not two. After all the hassle with you i finally decided to take it to Streetnoyz in san diego where they found that a wire was pinched and harness was not completely clicked in all the way, not to mention everything connected had electrical tape instead of heat shrink.. quality work smh. as far as you claiming my van stunk and thats why i gave the tip...that couldn't be farther from the truth, but we already know your record for the truth and its not anywhere near my record as an MMA Fighter. I tip because i work in the service industry myself. I meticulously have my van fully detailed every two weeks (check my instagram) by SD Mobile detailing, And my dog is groomed twice a week at Youkos dog grooming in north park. So the statement about your guy almost puking.. another lie. You claim in your private response that im trying to gain some sort of entitlement to get free stuff..i paid $725 i'll say it again $725 american US dollars to have a deck (stereo) and back up camera installed all of which i had the parts except for the speakers which i got from you which aren't the highest quality, they're just decent. i also asked you to run some rca cables so i could add an amp later on (never got installed) And you charged me for a piece that was already in the kit i gave you from crutchfield. Installed: Monoblock + Subwoofer+ 4 speakers (no dash speakers) I was Fairly new to Audio Systems so I went in there thinking I was going to be able to talk to someone to help me pick out a good system, But instead the guy was trying to rush to confirm business with me. Now I know why because he gave been the minimum. I was highly disappointed when I compared systems to my friends he got that cost $1500 ($100 less then mine) from another shop in Norcal & he received everything + upgraded dash speakers + Line out Converter.
