Redeem reward for free pretzel in app
    Diane L.

Today 4/26 is National Pretzel Day and you get a free Original or Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel when redeeming it in the app. I prefer the original pretzel with salt and a little bit of mustard. When you go at the right time and get a fresh batch, it is so good. They are soft, warm, buttery but with a subtle crunch. I crave them every time I go shopping at places that have a location. At the Spectrum, Auntie Anne's is by the Giant Wheel across from Tilly's and Cotton On. Hours of operation are daily from 10 AM to 9 PM, except Friday and Saturday until 10 PM.

I love Auntie Anne's and never had a bag of mini pretzel that I didn't like until today.. As can been seen in the picture, the pretzels is burnt, tasted dry and hard. Very disappointing. No I'm pissed. How can they sell this? Don't they have a timer on how long to bake?

    OREO Topped Nuggets

I stopped by Auntie Anne's on my way home from lunch and decided to try their Oreo Topped Nuggets for the first time. I didn't expect them to taste as good as they did, but they were nice and warm and the taste of the Oreos with the cream sauce mixed on top of warm pretzel bites, was the perfect way to finish off lunch with a great DESSERT TREAT!

Got my free Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel to go!

I came for National Pretzel Day, and got the Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel for free with in-app coupon. The pretzel was warm, soft and chewy with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Absolutely delicious! The only negative was the wait but didn't want to take off a star bc it just tasted so good and it was free! I arrived at 5pm and the line didn't seem very long, but I still waited 30 minutes in a very slow moving line.

    4/26/23 National Pretzel Day fiasco

4/26/23 - National Pretzel Day. A disastrous experience at the Irvine Spectrum location. Not adequately staffed and no communication to those on the line. There were probably 40-50 people on the line. I went inside to ask will they have enough, and they said they only had 2 left and were not going to make any more. Shouldn't someone have come out half an hour prior to say the supply is gone? A poor customer experience. Only 3 staff. All looked unhappy and unfriendly. 1st and last time at this location.

I'm not sure why Auntie Anne's only has 3 stars because they make really yummy pretzels. The closest parking are either where the Bristol Farms or by Sephora. There's always a line here, so they must be more than 3 stars. The pretzels are soft. Once you have a bit, you'll want more. I like sweets, so my favorites are the sweet almond and the cinnamon sugar. They make the pretzels super soft and buttery tasting. Happy Pretzeling!

Stopped by this location at the Irvine Spectrum the other night to try the new confetti nuggets. The store is small but you can't miss it because when you walk by it smells delicious. They didn't have any made so it was about a ten minute wait which was perfectly fine for fresh bites. The confetti nuggets were actually quite tasty. Perfectly buttery (grab some napkins) and the sprinkles balance out the butter. The bites were fluffy and not overwhelming, some of the ones at the bottom were a little doughy though. Definitely overpriced (about $11)but that's to be expected at this point. I'm glad I tried it but don't see myself clamoring to come back for this particular item.

Crispy and fresh. Line was somewhat long but service was quick and literally took less than 10 minutes.

    Heinous working conditions

The level of understaffing here is flat up abusive! One clerk, a mile long line, people with app pick-ups cutting said line, and on top of that possible cross contamination from having ONE PERSON basically being worked to death with no time to change gloves. It felt so disgusting to witness straight up Dickinson style wage slavery that we left without buying a single thing and hope the poor lady on duty either gets some backup or quits for her sanity.

staff was very polite, and helpful. Freshly made pretzels are super soft and amazing. And if you want, the bites are delish.

We ended up sitting outside, which worked out well because of the nice weather and it was fun seeing everyone and their dogs walking by. It gave the meal a lively atmosphere without feeling too hectic. We ordered the Jumbo Beef Lunch to share, and it was just enough food for two, although my partner doesn't eat too much. The beef was incredibly tender, and the sweet brown sauce is what really made the dish. We doused it in the rich, savory, and slightly sweet sauce. Service was attentive from the start. Our server brought water out right away and checked in throughout the meal without being overbearing. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the portion size. Overall, it's a great value, and I'd definitely come back again.

Service was good, we ordered on the kiosk (the only option) , then food came out pretty quickly and servers were really nice in bringing the other dipping sauces to us. The Irvine Spectrum location is unbeatable though, with tons of convenient desserts and shopping options in the mall for a walk after lunch. Would recommend and will likely come back!

I'm from Sacramento so the Irvine spectrum center is comparable to the fountains at Roseville or the Palladio in Folsom in the sac area. We ordered popcorn chicken, french fries and drinks (mainly for the kids) and to get a snack since we were hungry. Inside has a few tables, which there were one or two other customers inside dining. Inside the space was pretty messy. It looks like the workers did not have time to clean since there were crumbs and bits of trash. I'm glad we didn't dine in. For the food, since it's made to order, we waited just over 15 minutes for the fried foods. It came out piping hot, which we didn't really get to enjoy since by then, our table at din Tai Fung was ready. So we brought it with us. The chicken was really good. It was seasoned well and they even gave us a seasoning packet to add more flavor to the popcorn chicken. I'll go back if I'm in this area and want boba and popcorn chicken.

I ordered a 3-Item Plate, and it honestly looked smaller than what a 1-Item Plate used to be. The portion sizes across the board were extremely disappointing. The Orange Chicken was mushy and soft instead of crispy and fresh. The Beef & Broccoli contained only three small pieces of beef with mostly broccoli. I also paid the additional $1.95 upgrade for the Cantonese BBQ Brisket, and the portion was so small it was hard to believe. To make matters worse, the brisket was dry and lacked flavor. Even the rice portion was noticeably smaller than what Panda Express used to serve. I understand that food costs have increased and prices have gone up, but charging more while serving a fraction of the food customers used to receive is not acceptable. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling ripped off. There are plenty of restaurants offering better quality food, larger portions, and enough leftovers for a second meal. If Panda Express continues reducing portions while raising prices, they're going to lose loyal customers like me. Very disappointing experience.

During your visit, they take a walk around (inside and outside), and ask if you need anything. (Keep in mind, waiting to order might be 10-15 mins, even if the line only goes to the door.) I would suggest that if they run out of an item that they cover it or some sort on the giant black menu that they have on the wall. This way, customers have time to change their order instead of at the cashier, thus holding up the line. (I went like 5-6pm on a Saturday and they ran out of Etouffée. I felt bad taking up a hot moment to come up with a second choice.) Their food is incredible - just spectacular. You really can't go wrong with whatever you order.
