I was expecting the sandwich to have the same amount of pastrami as the burger. I was wrong, two thin slices of pretty dry meat. The chicken was also dry. At least the onion rings were good. We found the food to be just as enjoyable as we remembered it, and I was so happy to be able to get a piece of their coconut cream pie, my favorite. We found the weight staff to be so extremely friendly and eager to take care of us. We had a very enjoyable meal. I had the chicken pot pie, of course, and my wife had the potato soup salad in quiche. I had noticed the fish and chips that one of the other diners had ordered and it looked absolutely marvelous, that will be on my list for the next visit.

They charge almost $40 for 2 SMALL burger combos! So instead of getting combos, my fiance and I ended up settling for 2 burgers and 1 small drink to share for $31! Understandably, we had high expectations given that they charge high-end prices. What we got instead were 2 burgers with flat, soggy buns that nearly fell apart after the first bite. The patties were riddled with so many small, rubbery chunks of unrendered fat that I began to worry about finding another one each time I took a bite. Sadly, we were first-time customers at Yogurtz Grill, excited to eat dinner and try their frozen yogurt for dessert. But after dinner we drove across the street and bought a tub of ice cream at Fred Meyer while wishing we had gotten McDonald's instead. Won't be coming back.

The Bad We watched multiple examples of gloved employees grabbing and handling cash with their gloves and then using the ice cream scoops. Other than not using bare hands, their use of gloves was meaningless in both visits this summer. The 2nd time we walked over for some ice cream, my dining partner went into the bathroom before ordering, and came out and said that it was so disgusting we were leaving. She couldn't imagine seeing that bathroom and watching the food handling practices. Maybe we'll stop in again next year.

I grabbed a half scoop of the cherry and my neice got a single scoop of your classic strawberry. The scoop of strawberry was huge! I always get a kid's portion due to my fluid restriction but I was surprised at how big a single was. My neice enjoyed a good half of it and plans in finishing the rest after dinner tonight. My cherry ice cream was really good! I was hoping for a dairy free option but there wasn't any. My portion was perfect! I got enough to be happy but not too much. It was sweet, creamy and had little bits of cherry in it. I really enjoyed my flavor of choice today. I haven't had a bad experience at this joint. Every time we come the food and ice cream is always on point. And the staff is consistently nice! It's hard not to support a small local business like Delsa's.
