I never leave reviews. Or at least I didn't until today, because I created this Yelp account specifically to leave this review. First off, the prices are outrageous . They charge almost $40 for 2 SMALL burger combos! So instead of getting combos, my fiance and I ended up settling for 2 burgers and 1 small drink to share for $31! Understandably, we had high expectations given that they charge high-end prices. What we got instead were 2 burgers with flat, soggy buns that nearly fell apart after the first bite. The patties were riddled with so many small, rubbery chunks of unrendered fat that I began to worry about finding another one each time I took a bite. Sadly, we were first-time customers at Yogurtz Grill, excited to eat dinner and try their frozen yogurt for dessert. But after dinner we drove across the street and bought a tub of ice cream at Fred Meyer while wishing we had gotten McDonald's instead. Won't be coming back. read more

Yogurtz Grill in Meridian is such a fun little spot. It's tucked off Locust Grove and feels kind of like a mix between a backyard burger joint and a fro-yo shop...which honestly works. The burgers were really good (actually had flavor!) and the fries were nice and crispy. The frozen yogurt bar has a decent amount of flavors and toppings, and they let you sample a bunch first, which is always a win. My kids loved the DIY aspect. The staff was super friendly,like genuinely kind and patient- especially with families. It's really kid friendly too, with board games, a party room, and even this cute Lego display that my kids wouldn't stop talking about. The inside is definitely a bit dated, but it feels nostalgic. We planned to just pop in for a quick lunch and ended up staying way longer than expected. Left full, happy, and kind of on a sugar high. We'll definitely be back! read more

What a disappointment. 1 burger ($14) and a fry (4) for $19.08 with tax. Got there just after 11:00 am and the place was empty (I know why now). Ordered a burger and fry and waited 22 minutes! The burger was thick, well done, and dry as a bone. The fries were underdone and floppy. I'm livid. Maddie's (a wine and whisky bar up the street) charges $17 for their big burger WITH fries and it's an excellent overpriced wine bar! Never again! When this place goes under, no one is going to be confused as to why. $19 for a sub par burger and floppy fries is insane. read more

My family loves this place! They have amazing burgers that fill even teenager appetites and salads that are deliciously satisfying. My youngest loves the play area and I love being able to eat a hot meal while keeping an eye on her. I wanted to try a new place that sold burgers, and Yogurtz Grill was recommended to me. I went in, and the place was pretty clean, and it had some beautiful Christmas decorations up. The owner took my order and was very nice and friendly. I will say that I was quite surprised with the burgers. The price and quality match up quite nicely. This is about the closest taste and quality of burger that you can get in Boise as you can in a diner up in McCall. I was overall impressed, and I will certainly be eating here again. read more

If mid was a place, 4.3 out of ten for us. The yoghurt was okay, some of the flavors tasted old. The gummies were hard, the strawberries at least seemed fresh. Service was okay, we had to ask a worker for the pricing on yoghurt because we did not see it listed anywhere. Fourteen dollars for a hamburger is ridiculous, tastes like one you can make yourself. Service was absolutely terrible. My friend and I got 2 samples and they took them away from us rudely. So I took a spoon and took maybe a teaspoon of yogurt before she yelled at us to get the fuck out. I told her it's the same thing if not less and she said to get tf out. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, especially of a place like this. I really want to see these locally owned non-chain restaurants have success. In three years though, we haven't had a single smooth experience here, yet we keep coming back....because in the end, the food is (usually) pretty good, and it's never too busy. In fact, it's a Saturday night and the place is virtually empty, starting to think that's no accident. 40 minutes passed between the arrival of our first and final orders. Every order was wrong in some way. The veggie burger was (for the fourth time) frozen in the middle, the grilled cheese was a burnt cheese, and all the food was in general cold and limp. Amazing too because as the plates were being distributed, the girl warned that the kid's plates were "piping hot" due to the heat lamp they'd been sitting under for the last half hour. Not ok. I get that this isn't fine dining, it's fro-yo and burgers. None the less, consider that some people can only afford to take their family out to eat for special occasions, a few times a month at most, and they chose to spend their limited time and money at your place. If you can't figure out how to consistently provide people with a vaguely positive experience, you won't be around for long. It's not rocket science, a little care and some training would go a long way. read more

I think this place is awesome. I've been wanting to stop in for a long time and haven't. The place is super clean with lots of yogurt flavors. In fact there is a whole wall of flavors just look at my photos! Oh and toppings galore! But... the food! They make great food with excellent presentation and quality products. The young lady at the counter gave me an order number but ended up serving the food to us which I was very nice. The only downfall, for me, was that I asked for onion rings and what came was a lightly breaded pile of onions which aren't the same thing as onion rings. In some ways, this is your typical self-serve fro-yo situation. Cups stand at the entrance to a line of several flavors of frozen yogurt that you may mix and match to your hearts content. This is followed by an array of the usual toppings for you to top your mix-matched delight. There are a few things that, to me, make Yogurtz a cut above the rest: 1. All the self-serve toppings are in containers with a scoop for you to top with your desired amount. This may not seem terribly unusual, but some of the other places in town have these canisters on the wall where you twist a nob and your chosen topping is dropped into your cup. You have little control over the amount and I've had a ridiculous mountain of mini-m&m's descend on my poor unsuspecting swirl of fro-yo. This is annoying in 2 ways: a) The mini-m&m to fro-yo ratio is rendered totally unacceptable. b) Topping are heavy and now my fro-yo is stupid expensive. But, the point here is: Yogurtz doesn't have that system, so my fro-yo is always topped exactly how I like it. 2. The atmosphere is upbeat. It's large and there are always people enjoying their fro-yo in good cheer. There is even a party room and very often a party underway. 3. There is plenty of seating. Their yogurt is not as tart as some of the other places in town (which some will enjoy and some will not). It always seems to me to be a bit on the sweeter side--though not overly so. It's always clean and the workers are pleasant and efficient. I should mention (though I may be the only one who cares about this): They don't have mini-m&m's but rather the regular sized m&m's, which I don't like as well as a fro-yo topping (I don't know why this makes a difference--but, really, it does!). Other than that small snafu, a fabulous frozen yogurt experience. Get to it! read more

My wife and I ordered a couple of burgers to go this afternoon. This was our first visit to this establishment. WOW! What great burgers! Made with fresh angus beef - not frozen, and the best buns ever. While we waited for our burgers to be prepared we looked around the shop. So many yogurt flavors and toppings to choose from. We will definitely go back once the weather warms up. By the check out they have loads of sweet goodies to choose from. The owner's daughter is a very talented cake maker. If you are looking for a specialty cake decorated with flowers, super heroes, made in the shape of a beer can or a camera [yes a camera], or an edible tub filled with ice - you supply the Coronas, you need to go to this place. The cake options are amazing! This establishment just opened with a new owner in June of 2021. I urge you to stop buy and check it out! Love it here! The most toppings and yogurt flavors but more importantly, clean and pretty friendly service! It's bright and cheery with plenty of seating so don't feel bad if want to sit and visit. Very disappointing experience tonight. First, the staff were nonexistent. We wanted to try a sample. We got tired of waiting and went back to just pick something. Finally they appeared from the back with phones in hand. They couldn't have cared less to see us. We got what we wanted and went to the front. Two other people came in. The staff asked if they were there for the grill, which they were. The girls told them the grill was closed as the cook had quit. After they walked out, the girls proceeded to mock the customers about not being able to read the sign on the door. Keep that to yourselves. Finally, when it was time to pay, one of the girls was very busy on her cell phone. The other couldn't figure out how to charge my card. She annoyingly interrupted the other that was on her phone. What a pathetic display of service. No wonder the cook for the grill quit. read more

I found this place on Groupon and was surprised with the quality of the beef which is very good. We Love all the burgers. The beef is fresh and delicious. I don't do soft serve yogurt but there are always people there with their kids so that counter always busy too. My college son's love the fresh cut fries and order them regularly over the frozen.
