    Roasted coconut milkshake

My family and I enjoy big bun, The food is delicious and crispy. I always have to get some cheese curds when I come here for food. Their desserts are just as good!! Today we came to get some sweet treats after not coming here for a while. We ordered the Roasted Coco Milkshake, one vanilla cone and two rainbow cones. I am very pleased with the variety of flavors and the presentation. My Coco Milkshake had tiny pieces of coconut in the drink service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere looks casual and relaxing(:

This place was not bad. It was our first time getting Big Bun drive. We ordered double cheese burger meal and baldy bob meal with no lettuce and tomatoes. Fries were amazingly fresh, delicious, and crispy! Burgers were good as well, but it was quite heavy and a bit oily. The workers were nice and friendly. Very casual place. They have a drive thru. Strawberry lemonade was also yummy! Would definitely go here again for the fries for sure, and most likely try their other food on the menu.

Found myself in Garden City past lunch time, so I popped in here for a burger. I have been to the Overland Rd location, but enjoyed this one much more just due to the building itself and the ease of the parking lot. I only got a cheeseburger, as I am not a big eater and I could barely finish this burger. Decent size patty in my opinion. The burger only comes with sauce and shredded lettuce, which gets a little mushy towards the last bites. I did miss more toppings like onions and pickles. $7 for the cheeseburger. The restaurant was clean, in fact one employee was out on the floor wiping tables and counters and straightening chairs. The patio room is very cool, as it can be totally enclosed in inclement weather or give an open air patio feel if the two glass garage doors are rolled up. Dogs are welcome in this space. I enjoyed my burger here and wouldn't hesitate to go back, just missed some of those extra basic burger toppings. I gave it 4 stars, but it was more like 3.5 stars for me.

Solid burger without the chain formula. Got a double Russian. Liked the corn meal top on the bun. Very 50's from my childhood. Appreciated the broiled local hamburger patty.

I stopped by Big Bun Drive-In on Glenwood. I ordered a classic cheeseburger through the drive through. The young lady at the cashier was super nice, so big points for friendly service. The total came to $8.91, including a $1.50 tip, which felt a little high for what I got. From the time I ordered, it took about 6 minutes to get my food. The burger was definitely fresh, but it just didn't deliver on flavor--there wasn't enough seasoning, and the generous amount of special sauce made it a bit of a wet sandwich. The bun was soft, but more on the squishy side, which didn't hold up well with all that sauce. By the time I opened the bag (about 3 minutes after getting it), I could tell it wanted to be a great burger, but between the lack of seasoning and soggy bun, it ended up being just okay. Overall: fresh food, nice staff, but average taste for the price.

I tried Big Bun Drive-in since I had heard it was new to Garden City and that their burgers were good. I ordered the #2 Bacon Cheeseburger Combo Meal. I chose to try the tots as my side and the meal came with a drink. The burger was flavorful and decent sized, larger than most fast food franchises. The portion of tots was generous. The drive thru had a line around 1140 am, but it moved quickly. I found the restaurant staff to be cheerful and very efficient. If I have a craving for fast food I'll definitely head back to Big Bun Drive-in. Tip: Definitely check out the menu online since Big Bun Drive-in has a variety of great option and they can't all fit on the drive thru menu!!!!

    Ice cream

We went here to get food cause my mom was in a bad mood and the lady had to remake our ice cream after putting it in a cup when we said we didn't want one then she gave us this mini ice cream instead

    Lucy and her kid's cone.

I appreciate the lactose free milkshakes! The Finger steak basket was large enough for two people and delicious, as were the side of onion rings. The employees are nice and on top of what is around them, which is nice. I had a chocolate shake with toasted coconut. The coconut was actually toasted! and not flavoring. The kid cones are generous, also. Nice and clean!!

Fish and chips (I upgraded to sweet potato fries)

Don't get the fish unless you want three tiny pieces for 16$ ! Literally insane because it's so good but it's so small

I crossed the intersection from Pig Latin and was there in less than a minute. Pulling up, the shop had a bunch of seating outside. I adore the picnic tables with the big umbrellas. I can imagine having a nice scoop of ice cream, sitting under the big umbrellas and enjoying the vibe. Walking into the shop, it's very bright and simple. Bright white walls, simple shelves with merch and goodies for sale. A very classic and clean venue. I love the big black and white menu boards. I appreciate when a venue can be beautifully classic. I stopped in for coffee today. Ice cream will have to be another adventure here. I ordered my usual drink today. An iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. I feel like it's a good basic drink to get at every coffee joint to be a baseline of how they make their coffee. I wanted a 12oz but 16oz is how they serve their small iced beverages so I went with it. The sweet gal got my drink started and I checked out the merch. I love the all mugs available. I have too many mugs at home. There was a cute white mug with little red hearts all over it! My husband would not be happy if I brought home another mug but man it was so tempting. There were unique bottled sodas and packaged ice cream that you can take with you. The root beer is a must try next time too besides the ice cream. The bottle makes me feel like that for beer is going to be out of this world good. My coffee was ready and I headed out to one of the picnic tables outside to chill at and enjoy my drink. September weather was perfect today. sunny and not too hot. Well, I really wanted to enjoy my drink. Unfortunately, it was really watered down. The drink itself was very light and opaque. From the flavoring of the espresso and vanilla, it was hardly there. There was no richness of the half and half, no bitterness of the espresso. It was quite a disappointing drink. I tried to drink a much as I could but I couldn't drink any more of it. I drank about a fourth of it. I don't know if the gal working needs a little more training on the espresso machine and how drinks are made but it wouldn't be a bad idea since this joint promotes itself as a coffee shop. The shop itself is great! The reviews on the ice cream are all the same, delicious. But the few coffee reviews are on the same page as me, disappointing. I'm happy I got to mark this cute spot off my to go list today. I do look forward to coming back for ice cream and bottled root beer.

The display cases had a great variety so I know sticking to my plan was going to be challenging. Grabbing a couple things and go sure was hard! They had some specialty donuts on display and man did they look killer! I didn't know what they were specifically but they looked delicious! All of them nicely decorated and garnished. But, with much restraint, I got a big apple fritter for my husband and some donut holes for the grandmas. My mom didn't let me grandma have any donut holes so I had to take one for the team and enjoy them for her. They were so good! They were soft and tasty. Every donut hole was nicely glazed. It's amazing you can polish off 7 donut holes and not realize that you had that many. They are so dainty that you don't realize how fast you're eating them. Each one was great! The gal that worked today was really sweet. I did take a bite of my husband's apple fritter and it was tasty as well! My husband also enjoyed it. My other grandma enjoyed her donut holes. She too didn't have a beard time eating 7 of them. I'm happy I stopped in today. Looking forward to coming back and grabbing more treats real soon.

The opening lyric of a England Dan & John Ford Coley tune…read morepopped into my head as my husband and I entered Mojo's this morning to get an Americano and a donut to share at a place where we could hear each other to talk about something important. The service (thanks to Riggen) was as sparkling as the donut case and interior of the shop is clean and although we planned to share a donut, we found much to our surprise that they make cinnamon rolls too. Have they always and we just didn't notice? Regardless, today one of those was our choice. My 100% Italian heritage husband who grew up in an Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn never has quite warmed up to cinnamon rolls, a staple of my WASP Portland-Seattle upbringing so it is usual that if we order one to share then I will get the lion's share. But as we sipped our Americano's and enjoyed this one, I nearly had to stab his hand with my plastic fork to keep him from eating some of my half. Another great surprise on this visit was their donut holes, offered in a bag and little clear container, made with their sour cream cake donut batter! Samples were offered on the counter and SO good that I thought about picking up a container before we left but a woman came in while we were eating and sipping, tasted the sample and bought the bag and every one of the six or seven containers of them to take away with her. Yes, they are that good. Other details in my previous review comments from 2023. If you want donuts, cinnamon rolls, expertly made hot Americano and with warm service in a sparkling space playing of-the-day FM music at the just right level to know it is there but no so much as to compete with conversation this is the place. PS - ice cream by the scoop or pint or in milkshakes available too.

I was actually supposed to meet my nephew at the new location in Eagle. It's actually closer to us but my sweet nephew got confused and headed down to the downtown location. No problem, I made my way downtown to meet my baby for some aunty/nephew time. It's been a few months since I have been in. The shop is a cute as ever. Merch is now available. The pink t shirt they have available was calling my name! It's the perfect shade of pink and sooooo soft. I will have to come back and really check out the merch. My nephew had already been waiting for me to arrive. He's ready for his ice cream! I noticed that they had pistachio as a flavor at the Eagle location. Kinda bummed that it wasn't available here but sweet cream and chocolate will always be a winning combo here. So today I grabbed a kiddie swirl. My nephew grabbed the medium cup with sweet cream, cherry sauce and brownies. Our ice cream was fantastic. My nephew polished off his big cup. Not gonna lie, all the extras he added made his cup look sooooooo good! I as well polished off mine. Can't leave any behind. The other person there was great though! I was drawn in by the array of unique flavors and vegan options. I had really wanted to get something boozy and vegan, but they only had one flavor on at the moment that fit the bill and I wasn't particularly interested, so I sampled a few of the dairy boozy flavors and went with a vegan non-boozy ice cream for my actual order because a full scoop of dairy ice cream does not sit right in my stomach. I liked the boozy flavors more but that was only because of the flavors offered - the vegan ice cream itself was great, very smooth and creamy, not overly sugary. I got the float season vegan ice cream: blackberry ice cream with salted dark chocolate. I did still enjoy this flavor a lot. I really liked the crunchy bittersweet dark chocolate bits. I didn't get anything to drink but I was kind of tempted. The ice cream + beer or wine flights looked interesting. I don't know wine well enough to comment, but it looked like they had a good selection of beer with quality brewers and a good variety of beer types. This is technically a Warehouse Food Hall vendor but it's only accessible from the street outside the food hall. I wasted a few minutes wandering around the food hall trying to find it before I looked outside. They have a fair amount of seating inside and outside.
