The fennel Sausage on the pizza has no fennel...the pizza crust tastes store bought. The red pepper shaker opened and spilled all over the place. Thumbs down.

Fresh Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Amazing! Thinner, but flavorful sauce.

A true hole in the wall place. Walking up, I had no idea what to expect. The inside is super cute, exposed brick and just what you would expect from a little Italian place. The service was ok. The guy seemed shocked when after 20 minutes of sitting we asked if we could order. But he was sweet. Food was amazing. Side salad was tiny and didn't have much on it for $9. But the pasta was so good. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. I'm still thinking about it. Homemade noddles and the most flavorful sauce. It far exceeded my expectations, and I would even go out of my way to eat there again.

Stopped in for a comfort‑food carb load and Auntie Pasto's did the job. The fish piccata was the standout - moist, flaky fish with a bright lemon‑capers sauce over pasta that was cooked right, not mushy. The calamari was classic bar‑style: tender, nicely fried, and easy to keep picking at. Fettuccine Alfredo was rich and heavy in a good "I knew what I was signing up for" way, definitely shareable. Small Caesar was simple but fresh and helped cut through all the cream and butter. Casual, old‑school vibe, big portions, and you'll probably leave with leftovers - solid spot when you're craving basic Italian‑American comfort food.

Last minute decision to dine here for dinner. I've been here before. It's been awhile. Place is pretty dated. Could use some deep cleaning. I was greeted within minutes. I just wish the server would sat me farther from a large family with a child blasting his IPad. Nothing more annoying than hearing device when you're trying to enjoy a meal. I ordered the small Greek salad, stuffed mushrooms and seafood fettuccine. Greek salad was just a salad. The stuffed mushrooms was really good. Unlike most stuff mushrooms they put 4 mushrooms stuffed inside this small dish loaded with some amazing cheese. The seafood pasta super salty. It was really hard to eat.I picked through it. I didn't finish it. They charged an $2.50 for their "fresh" fettuccine which I didn't asked for. I just wanted regular fettuccine noodles. I wish the server would have informed me of this so call "fresh" charge. This was not worth $51. Took the server 11 minutes to give me check after asking. He kept passing me. Was not a good experience.

Ignore the previous reviews from this place, it was so delicious and the service was 10/10! My husband and I had been wanting to try it for a while so we finally went. We were seated immediately and taken care of the entire night. I didn't get our waiters name but he was fantastic! So I got the spaghetti and meatballs pasta and my husband tried the chicken cacciatore pasta. Both were so flavorful and they even had Italian music playing! It felt like a little Italy! Overall, it was a 10/10 and definitely going back soon!

Aloha Friday carbo loading before a night out. No frills, just good servings of pasta. No lines or wait time at 4:30. . Street meter parking that turns free after 6pm (always double check the signs tho). . Pasta came with solid customer service and relaxed home restaurant vibes. cheers!

The best Greek salad in Honolulu. The food service was good. I enjoyed not having to wait to be seated. We were able to have a conversation as the space and ambiance was lovely. They accommodated my vegetarian request. Chicken parm & eggplant parm was what my siblings had they enjoyed. Pasta large portions they shared and took some home.

Since I was off from work to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. holiday I decided to have e lunch with my wife at Auntie Pasto's . Last year I seen the news they said this eatery was closing their doors so I had to try them out before they close . The good news is they're not closing I asked our waiter if they're closing he replied his family took over the business Yay! I ordered their shrimp scampi it was ok my wife had their Lobster Ravioli she said it was good. The highlight was their Fried Mozzarella. It wasn't mozzarella sticks it was more like a mozzarella steak. It was very cheesy along with the marinara sauce very good . They're located at the corner of Pensacola and Beretania right across the street from First Hawaiian Bank . Parking is very limited metered parking right along Pensacola. I'll definitely dine their again in the future Support local

Happy National Pasta Day!! October 17th is the day to celebrate all things pasta and this noodle nut sure am happy to do so and here I am at Auntie Pasto's! Most probably of location I've never been here before though their address is S Beretania the entrance is on a super busy Pensacola Street with metered parking that's usually quite difficult to secure though I was hoping to get lucky which I did so here we go! I admit it's quite simple with the basic menu offerings I know it's gonna be pasta not ravioli, lasagna or the blunt penne pastas lol but which one is the question. I was immediately greeted by the server which seems to be the only front of the house staff as I see no other besides the kitchen she handled herself lovely as she brought me some water and took my order of "Mixed Mushroom" tossed in marinara sauce I wanted spaghetti and was surprised how fast it arrived along with some house bread with a dish of olive oil, I also ordered a Strawberry Italian Soda which was nice and refreshing. The pasta was nice and basic a generous portion topped with shredded parmesan cheese and a sprig of fresh basil is a beautiful presentation. Wished that they did offer some chili pepper flakes and/or parmesan cheese not sure if they have and I didn't ask it's just normal for me that they offer it like many other places do so...a simple thing like that is a nice touch. The vibe here is nice and cozy the service was a delight as she kept checking on me and the food was basic for the price, it was just missing something for me the cheesy decor felt dated but I got my pasta and left full. Thank you!

We came around 7:30pm on a Monday night and found street parking right in front of the restaurant. And we were seated right away. I ordered the Fresh Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The pasta was delicious, though they were a little too generous with the sauce for my taste. My companion ordered the Carbonara with spaghetti and it was rich, smoky from the bacon . . extremely tasty! We also got the Fennel, Sausage & Roasted Pepper pizza (which tasted like they used Hillshire Farms sausage), but still done well. And their Homemade Tiramisu was so light, it melt in my mouth, and very flavorful. Service was very amiable, sweet and attentive. It is a bit warm in the restaurant, but the décor is charming, classic Italian-American. If you're looking for Italian-American food done well, I would recommend Auntie Pasto's.

For a casual Italian restaurant, definitely checkout Auntie Pastio's. The vibe is very casual and light and the food is pretty good! Service can take a while, but that's because it gets very crowded on the weekend. The food was pretty good and the lobster ravioli is definitely worth the try! Prices are pretty affordable too, considering the portion of the food. Overall, we had a good experience and the food was pretty good!

Yes they do. At least for larger parties.

I'm on a keto diet. Could pasta be replaced by zucchini noodles here?

If they have zucchini noodles, yes. Zucchini noodles have about 9gm of carbs per 50 gms of noodles. As long as you are on a low carb vs no carb keto diet

Our favorites were the paella - it was lemony, bright, and had a generous amount of meat. The empanadas were also delicious and came with a homemade chimichurri sauce. We got these butterfish fritters (can't remember their name, oops) that came with a saffron aioli. The chicken liver mousse was tasty as well. While the pan con tomate was good, we got the plain one, and should have gotten it with ham! A lot of the food is served with airy, light, crusty homemade baguettes. The wine list is nice, mostly wines from Spain! I tried the Albarino and it was delicious. It is located on Lewers street, and has some nice iron wrought gates. We opted to sit on their outdoor patio, which had a lovely fountain and vibe going. Parking is kinda tricky - there's a lot in the back of the restaurant but it was full for us, so we street parked.

We started with the portobello fries that were perfectly flash fried. The mushrooms were crispy on the outside, while tender on the inside, paired with the flavorful pesto aioli. We ordered the mushroom cheese risotto, which was creamy, rich, and full of earthy mushroom flavor. The homemade Bolognese with pappardelle was hearty with flavorful beef ragu over perfectly cooked pasta. My daughter also ordered the watermelon lime mojito mocktail that was light, refreshing, and perfect for a warm Waikiki afternoon. What made the experience even more memorable was the thoughtful complimentary tiramisu they gave for Mother's Day. This was such a sweet and unexpected touch that was appreciated and welcomed. Quite a bit of parties around us were partaking in this. Though a friend of mine didn't want to drink a whole bottle by herself, she tried a glass of Rosé from France which she stated was very delicious. I on the other hand had asked for a non-alcoholic option. Unfortunately, they ran out of ginger beer, all the sparkler options, and didn't serve any soda. The bartender looked pretty irritated by that point, and didn't even provide me with a glass of water. We would've grabbed a bunch of food to compensate for taking up a seat, but by then, the bartender had already dropped the check, and we hadn't even sat there for more than 5 minutes. The most interesting part was that an older couple sat next to us, similar situation. The gentleman asked for a glass of wine, and his wife asked for a non-alcoholic beverage. Though a different bartender came back with a sparkler option for her. Needless to say, I felt pushed aside and I don't believe I'll be back to this location any time soon. The only reason I didn't give this review a 1-2 star is that I recognize that Abe is busting his butt there. He was floating back and forth between this bar and Eleven. We stopped in during their happy hour from 3-5 PM, and it immediately stood out as an ideal after-work pau hana or easy date-night spot. The space is relaxed and inviting, with a calm, tucked-away feel that makes you forget you're inside a hotel. The happy hour menu is impressively priced, with starters beginning at just $6, yet everything feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated. Highlights included the toasted bread with sun-dried tomato pistou -- warm, crisp toast paired with a deeply savory, herbaceous spread that's simple but incredibly satisfying. The mini poke bowl was fresh and well-balanced, showcasing clean flavors and quality fish without being overly heavy. The fish tacos delivered exactly what you want: crispy island fish, bright flavors, and a great balance of texture. We also tried the fish and chips, featuring lightly fried island fish, hot fries, and a creamy house remoulade that tied the dish together beautifully. The standout for us was the empanadas -- flaky, crisp pastry filled with tender braised beef and potato, finished with a bold aji rojo sauce that added just the right amount of depth and gentle heat. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Whether you're looking for a low-key happy hour, a casual date spot, or a place to unwind after work, this is a hidden gem worth seeking out.
