    Pesto Parmigiano Pizza
    Stella F.

Food was amazing, Service was quick and efficient. With one woman taking orders and serving everyone who came in, and the other was cooking. The lady in the front was very nice and attentive, provided complimentary water for me. We got the Linguini Pink Scampi, Caprese Piadina, and the Pesto Parmigiano Pizza. We probably could've gone without the Piadina, as it was a little soggy. But the Pizza and Scampi were delicious!! I will be returning to try as many pizzas as I can. There were only 4 tables for the restaurant, but it was not that busy on a Saturday night dinner. All in all it was good and would definitely come back again for a good Pizza.

On a rainy Manoa night, there is a place that can satiate any moon-size appetite with their awesome pizzas. Aroma Italia is a small but quaint place with some very thin-crust pizza. They have a charming variety to appease many personalities. I decided to go with "The Cannibale" that has beef pepperoni, sausage and meatballs along with olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, olive oil and tomato sauce. This pizza was perfect and I would definitely order this again. The main purpose of any meal is dessert, they don't disappoint due to an excellent selection of gelato. They do have tiramisu too! There are salads and pastas that can be complemented by a pizza by the slice. Whatever you crave, you will definitely find a scrumptious meal at Aroma Italia.

A pizza my cravings... Nothing like a slice of pizza and this Manoa Marketplace location is the place to go. Not only do they offer the whole pie but slices as well for a great price ($5-$13) besides salads, pasta and sandwiches the choices here ranges on your cravings. I was quite impressed of how many do order here and with a few tables both inside and outside enjoy it at your leisure is also something that many seem to take advantage of as well. Really came in for just a slice and noticed this giant hunk of goodness on the top shelf which was Chicken and Pesto Focaccia along with the load of veggies that one was calling me and gosh what a yummy bite with not just chicken and pesto but veggies from onion, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes and more that I probably missed but the flavor was amazing. As the group of folks came and went I noticed how the display case emptied out in no time. A wonderful spot that did fill me up my only thing is how they warm it up wasn't as hot as getting one freshly made as I assume it could char it further though don't expect it to be pipping hot but indeed full of yummy flavor. Thank you!

Decided to try this place in Manoa with a friend. Someone recommended the pepperoni pizza saying it was, "the best pepperoni pizza of their life". I'm not going to lie, it was pretty good and better than your pizza hut, papa John's, and costco pepperoni pizza but i wouldnt say it was the best I've ever had. But the highlight of our experience was the caprese piadina. If you love juicy food, it's dripping with deliciousness. It's basically a pizza sandwich. It's hard to describe it but trust me, it's worth trying. Like if I were to come back I'd come back for their piadinas. Food is a little expensive and there's limited seats inside but a few tables outside and around the complex.

Pizza was extremely greasy, overly salty and the anchovies were paste-like/baby food consistency. Over all Safeway frozen pizza would've been a better bet.

The pepperoni pizza slice (two slices) was the best pepperoni pizza I have ever eaten, I just had to take a lot of the grease off from the top of the slices! The cashier lady working today was pretty abrupt and almost rude but usually it's a much friendlier staff working which I truly appreciate. The vibe is true to Manoa and there's always a table open when I go there on a weekend afternoon.

The mini-pizza that's a full meal and then some!

The $10 mini-pizza is perfect for those days when you skip breakfast (who, me?) and need a big lunch. It works just as well for splitting lunch with a friend.

Staff is very friendly. Very limited seating inside and outside of establishment. I got the daily special. Personal pie with pesto, sausage, mushrooms and onions. Crust was tough and chewy, even after they reheated it. $14+ pizza with a Mexican Coke.

If you're looking for a quick bite, definitely check out this small Italian restaurant in Manoa Marketplace. They have pizzas, pastas, and other Italian dishes. I wanted a quick meal so I got a slice of their Daily Special. It was a Margherita base with Bresaola (beef prosciutto), Arugula, Cherry Tomatoes, and Shaved Parmesan. The pizza was delicious and they reheat the slice for you! All of the ingredients blended nicely together with the Bresaola being my favorite. The crust was the perfect thickness with a slight crisp and chew. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

Hands down, our favorite Italian restaurant on Oahu is Aroma Italia. Opened a few years ago, I loved walking there with the pup and recommended it many people. Whenever we're craving for pasta, I order takeout and love the drive to pick it up below Diamond Head. How fun was it then to read that Aroma Italian took over the old pizza shop in Manoa Marketplace. Already having the ovens ready, it was just a matter of changing the decor to make it their own. Aroma Italia at Manoa doesn't have pasta - it's a pizzeria and has a few salads and side dishes. The quality of ingredients is up to their standards, with great flavor. Pies comes in medium and large sizes; you may want to order on the side of caution as it's a lot of food. The style is thin crust, made crispy and soft. Wait times were only about 20 minutes, during which we shopped elsewhere in the marketplace. We ordered two kinds on our first visit - pepperoni and primavera (with olives, artichokes, etc.). I always look forward to our Friday pizza nights and the drive to Manoa made it extra fun. Prices are reasonable for the sides. They also have a gelato counter, so if you're inclined it's a great place to grab it for dessert or a snack all on its own. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Italian cuisine in Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii... A Social Media post announced that the first day of Soft Opening for Aroma Italia would be on 12-4-23, Monday. I marked my calendar and made my way over to Manoa Marketplace to be there by 11am. Parking was free and easy. I walked up to the counter since I was the first sit-down customer of the day. (There were 3 tables with six seats.) I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and a slice of Primavera pizza and took a seat in the cozy, clean shop. The female cashier was efficient and helpful. She explained that they don't have pasta at this location. They do have Salads, sandwiches, and Gelato from La Gelateria. I think it was the manager who brought my order to me. After a few minutes, he came to check on me. I should have asked for a napkin... LOL! I did tell him that I didn't need the chili pepper Flakes. He took them back so someone else may have them. The two slices could have tasted better if they were warmed up. I took some of the Primavera pizza home to heat up in the airfryer. It made the crust more crunchy. I do understand that this was the first day of operation and that the Grand Opening will be in January. I know that this is their second location and that the first location (on Monsarrat Avenue in the Diamond Head area of Honolulu) has high ratings. I'm sure that they will be up to speed in no time! Welcome to your second location in Manoa! Best wishes for success and happiness, Aroma Italia!
