Even though I've been to the Plaza district tons of times I missed this place. I opened up the Yelp app hoping to find a restaurant to eat at on Father's Day that did not have a 200+ minute wait to meet my cousin for breakfast. This place had a less that 5min wait. What? Can't be. I jumped in the car and zoomed over. Scored free parking on the street too! I walked up and saw the unshaded front and knew I did not want to eat outside and burn up. I went inside and was offered immediate seating inside or outside in the back that was covered. I selected outside. There were games and a cute teepee in a grassy area by the So cute!!! I had drip coffee while I waited and my server was awesome about checking in on me. Once my cousin came we ordered a carafe of cranberry mimosas and she was super impressed with the champagne used and that's saying a lot because she was is a professional bartender. I got biscuit and gravy with bacon added and she got the overnights oats and a pancake. All of my food was great but the biscuits didn't potatoes were a little cool. The bacon was perfect. My cousin loved her food but the overnight oats bowl is pretty big. The overall vibe was nice and I will definitely be back to try other menu items. read more

A cute place to meet for brunch! It has that trendy rustic feel. The staff was all very friendly. Because I know that OKC is serious about weekend brunch, I was pleasantly surprised that while yes it was busy when I was there, I didn't have to wait too long before my table of two could be seated. The menu isn't huge by any means, but there's a good variety of sweet and savory as well as some healthier choices on both sides of the spectrum. I decided to order the overnight oats. Normally I wouldn't order something like oats/ oatmeal at a restaurant because I can easily make it at home (and I do all the time) so I think why spend money on something simple? BUT the ingredients sounded yummy here so I did it anyway! Just the right amount of uniqueness but not too crazy. They make it with (and looking at my pictures of the menu to remind myself) the oats of course, almond milk, orange blossom water, chia seeds, granola, fresh fruit, and honey...... I know, right? I think it was mainly the orange blossom water and the chia seeds that drew me in. Weirdly enough, I had never had chia seeds before and figured trying them in oats was as good a time as ever! Anyway, I really enjoyed it. For some reason I was expecting it to be warm, but it was cold, which was fine once I knew what I was in for! I also ordered an egg, over medium. I should have just ordered it over easy because it wasn't as runny as I was wanting. Still good though, I mean an egg is an egg. I also liked the hot sauce that they brought to the table. This was something I definitely wanted to make sure I got my hands on because a friend had specifically told me how much they like the hot sauce at Aurora. It wasn't super spicy but it was interesting because it had almost a bbq flavor, in my opinion. It was a nice addition to the eggs. Price was pretty moderate and comparable to similar places in the area. I'd definitely go back to try more, or even order the overnight oats again! read more

Got in line on the yelp waiting list arrived and checked in....but was not checked in and we went from 3 on waiting list to 5. After I said something she moved us back to 3. Food was good! However, my food was not prepared as it stated on menu. My Lox Toast had no Capers and my Potato-Cabbage Hash had no Cabbage....potatoes were not cooked all the way thru. Chocolate chip French toast and bacon were good. As were the Shrimp and Grits. I came on a Friday morning and didn't have any problems finding street parking. There are also a couple parking spots out front. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and we were able to sit down right away. Ordered the Farmer (eggs over-medium, potatoes, choice of bacon or sausage, and choice of biscuit or toast) and a chai latte. Really solid breakfast food and the portions are huge!! The eggs were more over easy, but I can't complain. Bacon was perfectly crispy. The chai latte was also great. My friend ordered the birthday latte and French toast and had nothing but good things to say about it! Visited this local spot in the plaza district after church and it did not disappoint! I really liked how the menu contained modern brunch items as well as the classics. I really enjoyed the avocado toast I had and my boyfriend got an eggs Benedict but on biscuits instead of an English muffin. It's a smaller restaurant but it doesn't feel closed in and I love the windows that have that being in the natural light. I also like that since it's in the plaza district you have an area to hang out in and shop before or after you eat. The service was decent but it was really the food that gave it the stars. read more

They have a mimosa menu if you're looking for something other than an classic. Our server Kelsey was new but she knew a lot. She let us know the most popular dishes. They all sounds great! I settled on the lump crab and asparagus omelet with pesto and fresh fruit. My friend had the crab cakes and bacon. Both were the perfect size and oh so yummy! On the way out, I got a cinnamon bun to go. OMG! They are HUGE! The dough is buttery and the icing just the right amount of sweet. It was still warm from coming out of the oven. Aurora I have this thing for pancakes. Fluffy, crisp, sweet & salty, cooked to perfection, delicious pancakes. I adore the pancakes at Aurora. They serve them up cooked just right with a dollop of yummy house butter & warm real maple syrup-YUM! Their pancake setup is an award winning combo in my book; it hits the mark for everything an outstanding pancake experience should be. They have lots of varieties of pancakes and I've never had a bite of them that I didn't love. I so enjoy the experience of eating their biscuits & gravy with a fried egg and hash, too. I'd order those again in a heartbeat. Another favorite at our table has been The Plaza Jam. It's sooooooo tasty! It's got bacon, whipped cream cheese, scrambled eggs and that tomato jam--it rocks! Also, as others have shared, they have great love Hoboken Coffee. It's a solid breakfast/brunch spot in The Plaza. They get busy on the weekends and sometimes the wait can verge on painful. You can order a bottomless cup 'o joe at the counter which is a nice touch, and take it to your table when you're seated. They don't take reservations unless your party has six or more. And sometimes when they are slammed, understandably, service can slow down a bit. They serve food grown and farmed sustainably, and try to support local farmers. That means you will pay a bit more here than some other breakfast spots, so that's your warning. Though, as long as they keep dishing out the really tasty goods, it's fine by me. I hate paying an arm and a leg for average to below average food; it's a pet peeve of mine. Luckily, that doesn't happen here. read more
