I'm a neat freak, like I'll drive you absolutely crazy! My boyfriend has a white Husky with very dark wood floors and I sweep constantly every day, even though the housekeeper comes weekly. Sadly, I have almost killed my back doing this and had a back procedure which prohibited me doing much of anything. I consulted Yelp to find a mobile groomer, but none of the ones listed actually are mobile. Feeling exasperated, I googled "mobile groomer near me" and started my search. The only company that actually had a human answering the phone was the one I chose. My back procedure was at 10:30 & we hustled across town to make it back for the scheduled 2:00 grooming. Unfortunately, I also received several texts from various numbers asking if the appointment could be pushed. Ok, no big deal, but I wish I'd known so I wouldn't have to rush. Appointment is now set for 5:30. Well, I received another text saying they're running late & would be here by 5:50. Ok. At this point we have gotten nothing done because we've been waiting on them for hours. Last text says that they're in traffic, but will definitely be here in 15 minutes. My boyfriend was mad & I was feeling guilty for having booked this particular company. They finally arrived & Ohmygoodness, these guys love animals! The dog isn't leash trained and is difficult to control. Think of trying to walk a bucking bronco! She's nuts! The grooming took about an hour and was not cheap, but my goodness, she's beautiful! She smells amazing which is so much better than the ass smell that she had before. Even though everything didn't go smoothly, I would probably use them again. read more

Call for a quote, the lady was professional, give me the brake down what was included in the groomers visit. Which is EVERYTHING that I received from Top Dog mobile Groomers, but the treat, that approved from owners. (Which is a sweet offer, but not for an additional $50 bucks, than what I pay) Price for a 8 pound Yorkie is $105. She didn't bother to ask if my dog was matted, or anything other than, if his weight was over 20 pounds. Price must be skyrocket of your fur baby is over 20 pounds. Wow. I'll stick with Top Dog & received all the same offers for half the price ($55). She's always booked, but that's what happens when you book the Best. Have to get on a waiting list. read more

This group seem great. I made an appointment for my Schnauzer. Luis was prompt, professional and took great care of my baby. The pricing is a bit high but having her close where I could check in on her. 10 months ago I left a perfect review. Luis is a very nice guy who is very kind. However, on April 6 the person who schedules texted me and I chose the time I needed. Three times I answered his texts. Each time he sent me another message asking me when I wanted my dog groomed. I finally called him and he was extremely rude and said it is the computer sending me messages and that he never got my messages and I said if you can't fit me in I will have to find another groomer - at that point he just hung up on me. Each time there are problems with this person. Now I'm sadly looking for a new groomer. read more

Monica was an answer to my groomer prayers! I've been trying to find a mobile groomer for my Mom's poodle mix Stella that's been in rough shape since a series of family illnesses. I knew she was not going to be an easy groom and needed a lot of extra TLC and patience being a rescue. Even knowing what to expect from a grooming environment I was very happy to hear how much gentler the process was and enjoyed the text updates throughout the groom. I appreciated that Stella's wellbeing was Monica's number one concern and she took it at Stella's pace. Having gone in with a very matted dog I had low expectations, and while it's very short (as expected), I'm in awe of how good her coat and skin looks and the skill required to avoid leaving it red and irritated. This was our first time using this company. The groomers did a fantastic job with our two white golden retrievers. The boys look great and came out happy and clean! We will be using them as our regular groomers from now on. For us it is so great to have a mobile service since one of our dogs does not like the car. I am changing my rating simply because the groomer came out and spoiled both of my fur babies rotten.

Unfortunately, after about 4 times of using this service, this previous time was my absolute limit. Aside from pricing fluctuating each time, this groom was completely unfathomable. My dog is a maltipoo that usually has a long Maltese coat. This particular instance, they cut off all of his hair. It wasn't an even cut, it's choppy and there are patches of his skin showing. Poor dog, and it's winter. I don't think all the Aussie locations are this way, as I also use the one in River Oaks and they were great! read more

Aussie pet had been grooming our two German Shepherds since pups, we recently made an appointment for both of them to be groomed. A few days before their appointment a rep probably the owner called and asked how much they weigh, 75 and 85 pounds. This man then explained to me the groomer had a weight limit and could not groom them both at the same time... huh? Each time the groomer would take one dog at a time into the truck and groom them, then once done come get the other dog...this confused me, so he said we would never be able to get them groomed in the same day ... huh? Please do not let these reviews fool you. I made my first appointment for my 5-month-old baby Molly. Horrible experience. My appointment was at 2:30 on Friday and they showed at 5:25 and finished around 7:30. They never once called me to let me know they were running late. Very unorganized! Just left a very bad taste in my mouth. All they kept saying was that if I cancel that they will charge $50.00. If they were running late then they should have contacted me and asked if I wanted to reschedule since they are running behind. It's called good customer service. I paid $80.00 for a crappy job! This service is a Joke. They called me several times to reschedule. Then apparently the groomer was sick ( Ah ok), then she had an opening and then she was sick again. I never got my dog groomed because they are so irresponsible. They tricked me into thinking I was going to get the groomer I asked for. They have inexperienced groomers and they tell you you will get someone that has been there a long time and then they trick you into getting an amateur. Aussie Per Mobile is the best grooming company I have used. My cat Max is 12 years old and very grumpy when he is around people other than us. Annie was the best today with him. Taking him in a car to a groomer is so stressful for him. With Aussie he is in the van in our driveway and when he comes back in he is completely normal. I can tell by their pictures and reviews that they can do a great job. When I called to make an appointment for my Great Pyrenees I stressed that he needed a lot of deshedding. Unfortunately when I got the service done my dog was barely deshedded. He was bathed and clean but he still was leaving fur behind like crazy, and his nails could have been trimmed more. I feel like I got robbed of my $180. I could've done the same job at home. Sadly, I had to deshed him myself and I brushed out enough to make two pillows. read more

Both dogs hate getting their nails trimmed and in the past we have had to skip that step because of their anxiety and discomfort. I used Aussie Pet Mobile for the first time last week. My dog, Astro, is a six month old Yorkie that has been to the groomers once. My interest in mobile pet grooming is geared towards convenience. I have a one year old, a house to clean, dinner to cook and a million of errands to do. I would take my dog to the groomers if it only took one hour the problem is that it just doesn't. Dogs end up spending hours caged up in distress with other dogs barking and dog hair flying everywhere. Now, the second part is the cost. It is more expensive to have someone drive their business to your front door, it is but the experience outweighs the cost. Joanna is the franchise owner.
