My family and I really enjoy the Miniature golf here this is what keeps us coming back!. , Go-karts and Bowling are other points of interests for us. Honestly this place gets packed and there are kids running allover and through your miniature golf game section. I cant blame Austin Park for this, it falls on to bad parenting. But I have to warn it does happen. I prefer the bowling its in its own section and no little kids running through the games. They have waiter service for burgers, fries,drinks etc. There is a very small Rock climbing wall, roller coaster and bumber boats, a large arcade area and a Laser tag The employee's have been nice at least the ones I have dealt with. read more

This spot is awesome. Went today with some friends from out of town. Similar to Andretti's without the long drive. I'm going to plan for my step daughters birthday here. Super clean and the most friendliest of staff. Didn't do the buffet but the sports bar food was excellent. The kiddos had a wonderful time. First time here. The price for unlimited was decent, $26ish. Not to include buffet, we did not eat there. They have military discount, I believe it was 10% off. My boys 10 & 13 has fun mostly at the go karts. There happy hour baseball at 4pm so it was $1.50 for 25 balls at batting cages. Usually it's $3. It was not crowded in a Thursday afternoon during summer break. Kids were able to get off karts and go back in line and ride next most of the time. Only negative thing was that my almost 2 year old was not able to ride or do anything. They had kiddie rides, a carousel, a bus but it was only for minimum 36". Buffet was terrible they had only two different options for pizza as well as some old Chinese food. The wait times for the attractions were so long it's not even worth it. We tried playing mini golf but people kept trying to play on the same hole as us while we still were playing on it. They ran out of golf clubs so we had to wait until people finished playing to actually play. Laser tag and multiple batting cages were out of service. Waste of money. We really wanted to like this place! I have a 3 yr old and an 8 yr old and we are out looking for new adventures every weekend here in Austin. We spent over $100 for about 2 hours here: the kids were having fun, sadly an experience with the manager, Corey, ruined our visit. Apparently you are not allowed to wait in the laser tag waiting area while your kiddo is playing laser tag: I didn't know this and the place was all-but-empty, so we were the only ones there. But no problem, when shouted at by Corey to move, I did so as promptly as I could with a not-totally-cooperative-toddler who wanted to see his dad and sister play laser tag. She continued to shout at me to move every 30 seconds while I tried to get my kiddo out. (Mind you, we're literally the only ones there, it's not like there's a crowd or anyone waiting.) Finally I had to say, "You don't have to yell at me, I'm trying to cooperate, he's just a little kid." I wasn't ignoring or defying her - I was actively trying to comply, ye t she continued to bark at me. I don't know that I've ever been yelled at or ordered around so rudely by someone -- and I used to wait tables in my 20's!! LOL so that's saying a lot. I was not surprised to see that she was the manager, as she had zero remorse, and of course no apology or attempt to at basic customer service, just a challenge to go ahead and contact her GM and denial that she shouted or was rude. (A sincere, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to sound rude, I was just concerned for your safety" would have more than sufficed!) Sadly, the venue itself could be fun, but with someone like Corey in charge who clearly delights in the power trip that comes with marginalizing families, we don't feel comfortable returning. Too bad - we were thinking this would be a great place for a bday party for our daughter. But not with Corey there for sure! Not a bad hangout, although it's more oriented towards the younger crowd. I went when I was young, the last time was probably 8th grade, and I remember having a great time. I went again just a few months ago, and it was alright, but definitely a few shortcomings compared to like a Main Event or a Dave & Buster's. The two big things that set it apart from the other two would be the batting cages and the go-carts. When we went we easily spent half the time we were there at the cages, which was fun. Great way to get out and get a little bit of exercise, or just blow off some steam. The go-carts are okay too, the track's kinda small, but they're good fun every now and then. They also have a buffet and eating area, but the food isn't that great. Tiny pieces of pizza and some macaroni and salad. Other than that, they have the usual, such as a big arcade, lazer tag, rock climbing wall, token games, etc. It's not a bad place, it's just meant for younger kids. General admission is $8 which gets you the buffet but no games/rides $20 gets you all day rides, games are extra. and no admission fee or $20 worth of games and rides are 5-7 each. and no admission fee Laser tag isn't huge but it is well laid out. It is $5 per game if you haven't gotten the all day rides. The helmets and bats for the batting cages were a little old and falling apart. 3 balls per token. All in all this is a great place to go when it isn't packed. It is clean and I've never had a problem with machines not working. read more

Giving two stars was very hard for me here. We used to come to this place a lot more often, made it a fun family day out with the 11 and 15 year old. Then had a new baby so have not been here for a year! and wow in a year has this placed changed!! I want to point out first that while there are many reason for the two stars review the major one is this * they no longer have the buffet on weekdays! * This would not be that big of a deal if I did not feel misled, and to that point I guess if I read in great detail the whole website I would of known they stopped having the buffet but only in one small section of the website and it's very misleading everywhere else! ( see my photos attached and tell me what you think) Other cons- There is nothing for you 2-3 year old to do here and I mean nothing! If they added a simple play yard or something for little ones that are too short to ride their rides this would be great! Everything needs a good cleaning, I just make my kids wash up well after but could see people compliant here. The new non buffet menu is pricey vs their competitors. And no free refills on drinks... Come on $2 cokes no refills. After charging $25 to get in really?? There were not enough ride operators kids had to wait to ride bumper boats for over 15 mins and not in like just for someone to let them on... They added a bar with mixed drinks to the place to me this is not needed in a kids joint. Beer Is one thing hard drinks a totally different thing with the limited seating in their "new eating area" kids were all sitting at the bar ... Right next to other adults ordering mixed cocktails. Pros- This is one of very few places in Austin area that offer unlimited play with go carts and stuff Older kids could play for hours here. The unlimited go carts and laser tag are great for teens You can come and go as you wish. They give out wrist bands go play. Leave eat somewhere else come back and play some more... Personally I will not be coming back here as log as I have a little guy with me who has nothing to do here. Don't come to this place if you expect to have a good time, or spend less than $100. $31 gets you a pass to the buffet ONLY IF ITS BEFORE 7PM. You get a $10 credit to the bar/grill. Where all of the food is over $10. The pass gets you only the lazer tag, put put, water boats and go carts. (If you wear the right shoes then you're out of luck, even though it doesn't say anything about closed toe shoes on the website) and on top of that you have to spend an additional amount just play the arcade games. I have been there several times for friends' birthday parties. And every time I only bought unlimited pizza ticket. I think there are two type of tickets for adults. One is unlimited pizza $5.95, and the other is unlimited pizza and unlimited go-karts $22.5. Finally this time I bought unlimited go-karts too. but I only raced once because the line is so long, I had to wait for 30 minutes to have another round. So I gave up. The pizza selection is pretty simple, But I still found two types I like: Fajitas chicken and BBQ beef. All other video games requires tokens. Miniature golf is $3/person. It took a while to finish 18 holes. I saw a guy who is probably 4 times of my size bringing a laptop to play a video game in the pizza area. He was there for lunch before we go there, and after dinner time we left. I saw he was still there. I think $5.95 is a pretty good deal for people who just want pizza for both lunch and dinner. read more

Always enjoy going to Austin's park. It is a great place for kids of all ages as well. There are many rides, bowling, and an arcade.

This ended up being the best party yet for my son. The room was perfect (25 kids + adults). The staff were awesome. I had "a couple" requests and they made it happen. I had a plethora o' crazy to set up and they jumped in to help. We had ample space and were allowed to "hang out" after seeing as the room wasn't occupied after our allotted time. Kids couldn't get enough. Adults were able to have adult time. 2:00 party. We left at 10:30. Good times. read more

Despite the other yelp reviews I tried to go in with an open mind. Go karts, mini-golf, some small carnival rides, and bumper boats outside. The batting cages were closed when we visited. Inside an arcade with ticket redemption and fairly recent arcade games. There is also 10 lanes of bowling, a dark ride, and a rock wall inside. The kids aged 8 and 9 loved the go karts that they could drive themselves. Bowling doesn't use traditional pinsetters so the kids balls can get stuck at the end of the alley once in a while, adults will have no issues. The food is mediocre at best, the pizza isn't bad, but it's not good either. I think if they changed the sauce they might have a winner. It's more likely you can find better pizza at almost any pizza place in Austin. It wasn't busy when we arrived but was picking up by the time it left and the bathrooms were starting to look messy. Everything else appeared to be clean, but I can see how that might change as the day wears on. Therein lies the biggest issue, understaffing. I wouldn't say the staff was rude but there were too few staff members working the reception desk and certain areas. Most were apathetic about their jobs. The arcade is incredibly pricey, you'll find better bang for your buck at Dave and Busters, High Five etc. Better food and better service would have garnered a better review. We were gifted passes for the day which didn't include the arcade or dark ride. I don't know if I would return based on the price. read more

Great place, but filled with ignorant customers... In line for the boats and a kid (about 8) is threatening smaller kids in line saying he is going to kill them. Another kid in the same group is going around grabbing people below the waist asking them if they are ticklish. Mini golf a group of kids can't find a ball so they are running around the course grabbing them from other people and knocking kids over. I wanted to have a birthday party here but after seeing what a waste of money it is during my friend's daughter's bday, I changed my mind. The "glow party" consisted of us being stuffed into a dark room upstairs and away from the activities. The teenage staff member did NOT keep up with the cups, "unlimited" soft drinks or pizzas ordered. We were pretty hungry and thirsty, had to just go to the bar. So now I wanted to do a "group event" instead. Except I NEVER got a call back from the coordinator that I left several messages for. Then we decided to show up, bought 12 wristbands for the "Play and Eat" wristbands at $30 each and sat in the bar area & opened a tab. I got my buffet food and was stopped by a young staff member that rudely stated in the bar area, "You can't bring the buffet food in here". Well, I am buying drinks, nobody told me I couldn't, there is no sign posted... she says, "Oh, I didn't know you were buying drinks." No apology, just a rude attitude. On top of that, the place was super hot inside and so crowded. The kids didn't even ride the go carts because the lines were so long. I'm not sure what was wrong with the A/C but some people left early because it was crazy hot. Disorganized and overpriced. Some good wholesome family fun. It's not the flashiest place around but there is still a ton of fun to be had. I'd say ages 3-9 are probably the target demographic here. i think anything younger won't be big enough to ride and anything older will probably only find entertainment in 2 or 3 of the things. there are probably better options if you want the best go karts, or water park, or arcade, or laser tag, etc but i think this place is the best if you want the variety. read more

So I was looking for place to take the kids to for memorial day weekend. Someplace not in Houston but wanted to do a rode trip somewhere new. I found out about APP via the internet and the reviews were mostly from 2006-2008 and not too impressive. Well. despite the reviews I went anyway. And to my surprise and the kids, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Pay once to get in and that's all you see of your wallet. What a great idea. It wasn't as crowed as the reviews said but that could have been because it was new to Austin at the time of most of the reviews. We had no problems getting on any ride or playing any game we wanted too. The longest wait was for the laser tag which was only a 20 minute wait. I'd definitely go there again. But now the bad parts.... 1. If you have kids less than 3.5 ft, then they only have like 3 things for them to get on. A tiny 3 horse merry go round, the teapot ride and the (what I call) pole screamer. Other than that, NOTHING. Not even any games for them to play. 2. If you have toddlers... this is not the place for you. They have absolutely nothing for toddlers to ride on or play on with exception of a little swing set outside that belongs in your back yard. Where shall I begin? The only reason I give this place two stars is because my kids loved it here. Let's start with the food. The only thing worth having is the pizza. The salad was old and wilted, browned on the edges. Toppings and dressing were a sloppy mess, mostly due from the constant flow of people and no one around to wipe anything down or switch out lids on dressings. The other hot food was a mess, some of it crusted over and all over the counter space. Most unsanitary hot line I have ever seen. The fountain drink machine: it looks like it's never been cleaned. I read some of the reviews before my visit expecting a mediocre experience. However I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the price was a little steep, $40 to pretty much do it all but my kid had a blast and we burned almost 5 hours of time. So at less the $10 an hour with a meal not to bad. The girl working laser tag didn't give any instructions and the vests were basically all dead anyways. By the time we all found a semi-working vest, the game was saying 30 seconds left so we just left and started something else. Food is terrible but what else could you expect. We bought our teenagers their passes, and decided to sit down and have a beverage as they had their fun. The Bartender never made our drinks. Ok for what it is kids play area and adults could have fun too. 1st experience was a lot better a lot cleaner and not overly crowded, miniature golfing was fun as was playing pool. Took some time to get our drinks at the bar but the bartender was helpful letting us know about happy hour. 2nd experience Not so good should have known with the parking lot full of school buses, We played bowling and did not even eat or drink anything it was just horrible and disgusting food and drinks on the floor food court area. Shady! They Tout their inclement weather policy that if it rains and they close all the rides for 60 minutes they will give you a rain check. So they tell you don't leave stay in the arcade (spend more of your money) we're giving out the vouchers shortly, then To avoid giving out rain vouchers after 57 minutes they open the bumper cars while it was still raining. All other rides remain closed but since just 1 ride is open they refuse to give vouchers. Would not go!!! read more

I randomly came here with some family and it was more fun than I expected. The package deals they have for activities are decently priced. I paid about $40 for golf, bowling, race cars, laser tag, rock climbing, a boat ride, and access to the rides outside. Most of the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. I went to the race track first and that was fun. The guy working the track stood by a pathway while waving his hands; that was his way of telling us to stop. My family and I didn't see him the first time, so he got really upset. When we exited that lap, he spoke to each of my family members and said "when I tell you to stop, you need to stop". It really took me by surprise, because we didn't do it intentionally. Besides, I am not a child so that was very unnecessary. He then proceeded to ask a girl for her number so I'm not sure what this guy was thinking. Other than that, the boat ride was fun but you will definitely get wet so be prepared. Laser tag was also really fun and great for all ages. The rock climbing was exhilarating! I suggest everyone try it once. I came a couple hours before closing, so I didn't get to golf or bowl. This establishment has very poor customer service. Or maybe the kids they hire just don't receive any training on how to speak to or assist customers. For example, my husband goes to a snack stand outside by the putt-putt golf course and the girl working the stand asks him "So are you gonna want something?" Went to ask for darts, was told you have to be 18 or older to get them, after getting my father, he was told it cost 10 dollars to get the darts for a hour (should of just told me it cost 10 dollars). , With my interaction with staff I can say it's a 8/10. Bowling is subpar, shoes are not well maintained, bowling balls are not out back on racks after use making it difficult to find the right one, the shoes stick to the actual wood flooring. Staff is not supervising the putt putt course, this has allowed for a party of 20 to play and take around 20+ minutes per hole. No amount bod nostalgia is going to bias me at this point. I'm secretly just a big kid. I think most adults are. Going to the movies gets old - so when I want a little bit of fun coming here does the trick. It's kind of expensive to play all the games but the fact that they serve food and drinks make it worthwhile. Usually we grab a drink in the bar and then go do some putt putt and then arcade games. The place is clean which I feel like could really get out of hand if the staff wasn't keeping their eye on it. I've never dealt with any unhelpful or rude staff members.
