I pulled up at 8 am and there was a chain across the driveway. I saw employees and asked what time they opened. They said 8:30 and I would have to come back? Huh? There are spots for about 12-15 cars and they wouldnt let the chain down. People started queing up on the driveway apron waiting for the to remove the chain. They removed the chain at 8:30 and were not friendly nor did they greet us at all. My guess is this place lacks supervision and is run by the employees. I saw other customers leave becuase they couldn't get in the lot. Testing was quick, but service really sucked. read more

But after my first experience at ACSC, I don't think I'll be going to AAA for my renewals anymore! For an additional price of $19.95, they will process your license renewal right then and there! It may seem a bit much, but when you check into Yelp, you get a $10 discount. Then, if you pay via debit or cash, there's an additional $5 discount. The way I figure, it's $5.95 to get my renewal, not have to drive to the DMV nor AAA and wait in line. For me, it's definitely worth it! Good service, and a fast smog check. Make sure you get in early though because its first come, first serve. You can't park in their parking lot though before they open because they cone off their driveway, since they don't want people driving their cars up to the smog test station until they're ready. You can park across the street though without a problem, or in the parking lot next door to ACC. read more
