The guys at Auto Dynamix rock in customer service. I've been going to these guys ever since I bought a used Audi. Khea does all the maintenance & repair work for me and keeps my Audi running smooth at reasonable prices. (the Audi dealer wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for routine maintenance work) Both Todd and Khea are very knowledgeable in cars and can diagnose any car problem; They will even give you a ride to work while they work on yours. Wow! What fantastic customer service and business awareness. Khea is easy to talk to and really wants to see cars running at their best. They swapped out an aftermarket transmission mount for me because I believed it was making some strange noises. (I could have been hearing things). They confirmed that the mount and installation was fine, but they proceeded to install the stock transmission mount (not easy), at my request, at a steep "discount". I was amazed at this place! They were the only place we could find a same day (actually no other place could get us in for a week!) appointment. I took my Audi Q7 here and received excellent service from Khea and his crew. I paid for an oil change, but got much more for free: Inspection of filters, suspension, fluids, brakes/rotors, tires, belts, coolant, battery, lights Top off of fluids Oil filter w/7L Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic Basically, they covered a full Audi service for $105+tax. Audi would charge a minimum of $300+ for this type of service. To give you an idea of how much this would cost as a DIY'er: Filter - $17 7L Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic $56 --- DIY cost: $73+tax Don't go to Jiffy Lube or DIY. It's worth it to get service from professionals who treat your car better than you do! I will be coming back to this place for every/any kind of service. read more

Normally I take all my cars to Dave at Auto Dynamix. Dave and the staff are very knowledgeable and good at explaining issues in layman terms you can understand. Recently I made the mistake of trying another Bellevue auto repair place because it's so much closer to my house but that was a big mistake. The bad experience really drove home the point that choosing convenience over quality will cost you in the long run. read more

I'm so glad I found Auto Dynamix. They are honest, courteous, and very reasonable. The dealer quoted me $695 for the 60,000 mile checkup on my Nissan Altima. The dealer also said I needed an additional $900 of work done. I took my car to Auto Dynamix who charged less than half of what the dealer quoted for the 60,000 checkup. They examined the issues noted by the dealer but found no problems. I've already driven another 8,500 miles since then with no issues. The oil changes are way more reasonable than the dealer as well. I referred a friend with a Volvo. They replaced her battery while she waited. I plan to drive cars that Auto Dynamix works on. read more

I had my 98 Legacy towed to Auto Dynamix after it died on the highway on the way to work. Auto Dynamix recommended a towing service, who may have been the most friendly and cheerful tow truck operator I've ever met, and got me into their shop. Khea was also kind enough to drive me to my place of work about two miles down the road. I got a call midday with a full diagnostics report. I had a completely dead battery and a faulty alternator. Auto Dynamix knocked the cost of diagnostics and labor off the bill and only charged me for the battery. Sweet! I had a great experience and would come back if I'm ever in the area again. I'm a huge believer in independent shops--they usually work hard to earn and keep your business through that one thing that eludes others places...trust. Auto Dynamix has that spades. Great work, tons of experience, super atmosphere, and bending over backwards to do the right thing. Case in point, they did the scheduled service for my Audi but couldn't get around the manufacturer's efforts to make it impossible to reset the service alert. Khea calls up and had arranged with that reset to be done through the dealer and that I should just show up and tell them Khea sent me. This is a well deserved and completely positive review after visiting Auto Dynamix. Unbelievable service, Khea is the best Audi mechanic I have ever talked to. My 2000 Audi TT had an Oil Pressure warning light come on after I did an oil change at Jiffy Lube (mistake #1). I was able to easily schedule an appointment and Khea very quickly offered the diagnosis as well as offering suggestions to go about fixing my car based on our budget. I just wanted to share my experience with these guys. I had seen their great reviews and gave them a call about a problem with my car that could require more extensive engine work. When I called, they were quite open about what they could do for my vehicle and suggested to me that I would be able to get more expertise (and less expense) taking my vehicle to a dealer for that make vehicle. He even suggested one he knew and trusted. I took it there and had a great experience. I was just very happy to find a repair shop that was open about their limits and did not try to extract a lot of money from my problem. The experience I had trying to deal with these people was one of the worse I've ever had or even heard of. They are absolutely the worse case example of bad quality work, customer service and reputable management. My long-time mechanic suggested sending my 4 brake calibers to this place to save him time and get my car on the road the same day. We arranged this over a month ahead of time so everyone had time to prepare. I even called to check on this and was told everything was done as I asked. It took auto dynamix four days to complete a 2 hour job as they failed to order the rebuild kits as instructed and then they ordered the wrong kits and then they finally ordered the one brand of kits I specifically requested they not order. I paid dearly for not having my car for those four days. I then get my car back and drive to work. When I went to pull into the driveway at work and pressed on the brake pedal, my car just kept going for another 300+ feet with nearly no stopping power. So, I had it towed ($250) back to my mechanics shop to tear down those calipers. When he did, he found pieces of the rubber seals simply forced into the bores with a screwdriver. Bits of rubber were everywhere in my brake lines, so it all had to be cleaned and a new $450 proportioning valve required to boot. I could easily have wrecked the car and wound up paying over $1000 because of the incompetence of these people. When told of this, they denied, denied and lied. They insisted it couldn't be them, but in reality, it couldn't have been anyone else. The owner even called me at 2AM, screaming physical threats at me simply for insisting they do what I paid them to do! Unless you like to drive an unsafe car, fill out police reports for violent threats and pay to have idiots wreck your car, take it some where professional. AVOID these incompetents at all costs. read more

I needed an oil change, wondered about a clunking sound in my front suspension, that I had ignored for over a year, and to find out why my a/c stopped blowing cold air. Called and set up an appointment for Wednesday for an issue with my car , it was making some noise , clearly the guy who dropped me off to Microsoft also faced the problem , I didn't want a oil change because I already had couple of months to go in that but they told me that it will cost 50$ to inspect the problem and 80$ for oil change which will comes with free inspection so I went for oil change , after 7 hours , they called me stating that they couldn't figure out what the problem was and did a crappy oil change which last 3k miles only , so I land with same problem and spent 80$ nothing. read more

I've been having my car serviced here for almost 10 years. Khea and his team are great and will make things right. Great customer service.

Went for a regular oil change and brakes check, after experiencing some brake overheating problems. Was advised to resurface the brakes, for a price I believe is too much, and they also overcharged for the oil change. I ended up not doing the resurfacing (a different mechanic who knew nothing of the brake problem said the brakes are in perfect condition!), and found myself in an unpleasant situation with Khea. On the way home I felt the brakes were not as before, and they were also making noises, which I attributed to normal-post-brake-checking-noises, and indeed the noises were gone after a few days. However, I felt like the car still wasn't as before. It got worse in time, until finally after driving on some dirt road, the front wheel was really making loud banging noises, which lasted on normal road. Today, I went to another car mechanic, to look at the noise, and he found out the are NO screws to hold the brake caliper in place!!! it was just hanging on the screws rail. He quickly found replacement screws and fixed the problem. What he said was that they probably didn't screw back the screws strong enough, and they got loose in time. Of course I had to pay again for the fix, and the weekend plans were also scraped. I don't know if this was an honest mistake, or maybe it was related to my misunderstanding with Khea, but I won't be going back there ever. They screwed up my car, which was in perfect condition when it got there, and risked my life. read more

I brought my car to this car shop 2 times for "check engine light" issue. First they put in new valve, the light went away for a couple days and then went back. And after several months, the engine started to jerk seriously. I brought the car back and they said "the previous guy did something wrong in my engine" - I did not tell them they are "the previous guy". They fixed the jerk issue but they could not figure out the check engine light. I brought my car to another car shop, they identified another issue and fixed it. But after couple days the check engine light went back again. They told me that the only thing they did not change was the valve put in by Auto Dynamix several months back, and they suggested to change it. We did it and the check engine light finally went away. I would not bring my car to Audo Dynamix again and I felt their mechanic skill is very questionable. read more

Today I found out that when they put torx screws into the dowel pin (Phillips head), it DESTROYED the thread of speed nuts for dowel pin. Thus so far I lost two dowel pins and each's price at VW/Audi dealer is $12 bucks. Additionally, I have to buy two new speed nuts and rent a lift again. One mistake that keeps biting me. lol. read more

I first went to Auto Dynamix about six or seven years ago to get some new tires I ordered on line installed. They did a great job with that. For my family's three cars we used to go to a couple of other places sometimes. Not anymore. I'm going to Auto Dynamix for everything from now on. They have always been nice, honest, and fairly priced. Having been a business owner myself, I know that no matter how consciousness you try to be there will periodically be mistakes. It's in how you deal with it. These guys are consciousness and obviously take pride in their business and trade. There was one minor thing once that when I pointed it out they jumped on it, no problem. It is nice to have a mechanic like these guys. Now if I could just find a trustworthy and fair plumber when I need one. read more

Went here to have a changeover from winter tires the summer. First time they did a great quick job. 2nd time it took twice as long, but that's ok. The not ok part is that they didn't balance the tires. I went to subaru for regular service because the car bobbled. 3 of the 4 tires were not even balanced. Won't go back. read more
