First review ever and I had to write it. I am an honest truthful guy and this is the worst experience ever. Went it for a smog check with a coupon mailer around 1230 and Owner and crew were having lunch. I showed him coupon and he explained they were eating lunch. I agreed to wait but the owner started arguing me about what time he told me to come and about lunch time. All I asked on phone was what time he closed. He never disclosed "lunch time" and told me this is his shop and not to disagree. I turned around and left and I could hear him yelling Leave my shop! Never again. Well... this might be a first for ANYONE who has been to see a mechanic!! But I've probably found my autoshop for life today! First of all, I went in because my brake fluid light was on and my brake pads had "3100 miles left before service" was needed. So I thought... have brake fluid flushed, and get a quote for pads/rotors/etc... Long story short, Nima checks out my car for a few minutes... then comes back and SHOWS me: "Your pads are almost brand new! And your brake fluid is clean! You dont need anything done!!" Lesson learned: Dont listen to your car nor the stealerships quoting you an absurd amount for unnecessary service. I suggest you find an honest mechanic first (like I did today) and go from there. If you are in the LF area, read the other reviews and you'll see Im not the first one who has praised this shop for honesty and definitely wont be the last! Thank you again Nima!! Sorry for wasting your 15mins! PS. the Stealership actually did quote me about $2500 for the complete brake job I thought I needed today. I'm really sad to change my review. I thought these guys were honest, good priced and fair. Well, it turns out that's all false. They use used car parts, used coolant. I paid to have my bearing replaced, now it makes noises. My husband came to had his coolant replaced, now the AC doesn't work at all. We paid to fix his starter, that lasted a day, doesn't work. We came out of there with more problems then what we came in for. Ask yourself, why are they so cheap? You get what you pay for. I'm all about a good bargain but not at the expense of more problems. Also found little metal pieces around my battery, it's like they go in and "fix" something at a good deal and also mess something up so that you come back for more over and over. Bad deal guys! I took my Lexus IS 250 there for oil and brake pad change; Nima worked on my car and got everything done in no time. At the time of check out he gave me a detailed report of what he did and what needs to be done in future. They also have a comfy room that you can seat and enjoy your coffee with half/half while they are working on your car. :) I will defiantly recommend this place to all my friends and family. NOT ONLY do they provide the kind of customer service that we all want from an auto repair shop, which by the way is absolute honesty, integrity, moral standings, and fast work. They also give you the peace of mind that your vehicle, no matter how challenging the task, will be taken care of by the deadline which they give. Neema is always extremely energetic and you can tell from the way he carries himself that he is confident in his knowledge and he is ambitious and passionate about the work that he puts into these cars for the people that this business begins to build a relationship with. Time and time again, as I'm sure you have all felt the same, I have been taken advantage of by corporate chains such as Discount Tires and Ramona Tire on any kind of repair costing me well over $700 every time on even the simplest of repairs. Mind you that my car is just a 2004 Honda Civic. But LITERALLY every time I would take my car to one of the corporate chains, I would always end up giving my left leg just to drive my car out of the garage. Arash is so friendly and compassionate and his sarcasm is one to look out for, but he is one to always take care of you just as you think a father to take care of a child, he does the same with his customers. Now lets talk cash. It's cheap, I'm not even gonna bother writing or giving an example. The fact that they don't take advantage of you and lie to you even if you have NO CLUE what is going on with your car is enough to sell what they're offering. They will not lie and I can say that with the highest level of confidence in my heart. Even if they offer two different parts at a higher price, they'll suggest the lower price item and tell you that there won't be a difference in the car and so far, that has been without a doubt a true statement. See!! They're so good I said I wasn't going to give an example, but I just had to because of the ethics and friendliness they hold in the center of their business. I took a car in for a smog check, which went smoothly, and without incident. The one star is for a perceived dishonesty on the part of the mechanic. I will edit this review if I end up being mistaken, but after the smog check, I was told my brakes were in really bad shape, and needed new rotors etc. He even gave me a quote. I'm always skeptical of mechanics and their ethics, or lack thereof, so took my car to another place, one with a known track record of honesty that I was aware of, and had him look at my breaks as well. Nope, he said. Brakes, rotors, all fine. He did suggest I have them checked again after three more oil changes, as they would likely need service by then. If, when I do get them checked again, they turn out to be bad, as suggested by this place, I will change my review, but it's been a few thousand miles since then, and not a squeak or grind to be heard. I came in and he asked why I needed it and he even went for a drive with me to make sure it was what I needed. Went in because they offer the great smog a deal for only $21.75. What I didn't know is that my fuse had blown to my computer login in my Psion XP and that quickly check for all the errors in my fuses and fix the fuse and got the reading from the computer. It was a hard-working team very proud of their work will absolutely go back there again for any smog check because they worked hard and solve a problem that was right in front of them at absolutely no additional cost.
