I cannot recommend KLM Performance for brake line purchases…read more I ordered a Crown Performance stainless brake line kit for my 2018 Ford F-150. During the ordering process, I specifically discussed the brake lines with customer service and was even encouraged to add the rear caliper hoses to my order. Only after receiving the shipment did I learn that the rear caliper hoses were not available. Had this been disclosed before purchase, I would have chosen a different supplier or ordered directly from Crown Performance. To KLM's credit, they refunded the unavailable hoses. However, the result is that I am now left with a partially upgraded braking system consisting of both stainless braided and OEM rubber hoses because I had to source replacement rear hoses elsewhere to complete my brake overhaul. The most frustrating part was the customer service response. Rather than acknowledging the issue, I was repeatedly told that the availability disclosure was on the website. I provided screenshots showing no such disclosure on the product page, yet the response never changed. KLM also refused to accept a return of the remaining hoses. My recommendation to anyone considering Crown Performance brake lines is to verify availability directly with Crown Performance before ordering, or consider purchasing from another reseller that can confirm exactly which components are available and shipping before taking your order. A refund for missing parts does not solve the problem when customers are planning a complete brake system project and make purchasing decisions based on the expectation that the advertised kit can actually be supplied.

PayPal dispute didn't help as they considered the payment being process correctly and there was no email proving a credit/refund was promised. Brake lines are made and shipped by Crown Performance so order direct from the source and avoid their shady business practices.

Cmmunications in progress. ------ 1st Advanced couldn't tell us specifically which alternator we needed for our van so we bought two to the tune of $1300+ (with intention of returning unused one) and went to a garage we found in the area (we were on a road trip starting our vacation, so didn't know anyone in area). The garage took us in and did the repair. We were so thankful to be on the road that we paid him cash and headed out. Unfortunately lost the receipt. Wasn't really planning on needing it. Lesson learned! Initial breakdown did not have to do with Advanced Auto Part. And we made an assumption that the part(s) we purchased would be good. for the price...maybe should be lined with a little gold? 2nd on the way home. SAME PROBLEM. This did have to do with Advanced Auto part. Alternator was bad! so now we're in NJ and have to find some help. We eventually did find a repair shop that could help us, but not until the next morning so we were stuck overnight. Not their fault, i put this blame on faulty part as well. So the alternator that we purchased from Advanced was no good. Shop replaced it with a NAPA (where they get their parts) and the cost of the alternator was 1/2 of what we paid at Advanced, although the labor was double what we paid the first time. This garage told us that NAPA will stand by their product and if something like this happens they will reimburse for additional labor as a result of THEIR BAD PART. So I called Advanced to see if they'll do the same. if the part they sold us was good we never would have been delayed getting home and having to pay even MORE labor to reinstall another alternator not to mention the towing fees to get the van to this garage. They did refund me for both the alternators that i purchased. the bad one and the additional one i had to purchase. now i'm tyring to get assistance with the added labor we had to dish out.
