Just had my car washed and came away sorely disappointed. First off, even though I asked for the platinum package I got a hard upsell in the form of "you need a hand wax because these stains won't come off." I don't mind a soft upsell but to push a customer buying an already expensive package but insinuating that it would not do the job is unpleasant. The wash results were also disappointing: - bunch of water drops on the third row seats - bunch of leaves still stuck on the trunk lid nooks and crannies that could and should have been removed during the hand wiping - a layer of dust on the infotainment screen Basically, a total lack of attention that does not befit a "platinum" package. I was car three in line. It took 15 minutes to get started. The manager and sales were playing playing on the phones. Only one guy was vacuuming and he was standing over 50% of the time waiting on the sales guy it manager to move the car. Nobody moving beyond first gear. Also, the sales guy has no personality. I paid $450 for a full detail which took four hours to do. The car is definitely clean inside and out, and they managed to get the mats fairly dry. (We've had the experience in the past of the mats being sopping wet on departure, so the inside of the car fogs up.) However, somehow they've managed to knock the back off the driver's seat, creating a fresh problem for us to fix. We only go here because it is close to where we live. read more

My car looked almost exactly like how I brought it in. The inside is still dusty after they "vacuumed" it. The outside still has dirty spots that I can wipe off with my fingers. Leaves and pine needles still in exterior corners, bird poo untreated. Poor job for the high price. read more

The reason why this place is still in business is two things 1) Location, location, location 2) folks are too busy / too lazy to wash their car or don't want to drive to a better car place. I've been coming here for years off and on. Today, I brought my Tesla as I was too lazy to wash it myself. I originally wanted the Silver package. The friendly guy/manager at the front told me that my car wouldn't come out clean because of the oak tree sap that was on the paint. He recommended that I do clay bar detail but it would take an hour. I was quoted $196. When I picked up the car, the seats were super filthy still. I was told by one of the attendants that the seats/interior wasn't included in the price. There was line item for "Car Wash", apparently that does NOT include cleaning up the seats. In addition, the areas under the trunk spring was still dirty. Come on!! This is a LESSON for you lazy people like me. DON"T let the friendly guy upsell you on extra stuff that you don't need. Watch a youtube and learn to clay bar detail yourself. This is the worse $196 I spent and I will no longer bring my business here. read more

I brought my car in for a car wash as we have been to the Lake Tahoe area and the car was dirty. Upon inspection, the manager immediately told us that it will cost $146 to get the car washed as it needs hand wax to "protect the paint". I told the guy that I just need my car washed but he insisted that my car needs a hand wax or the car paint will be damaged if he washes the car only. Doesn't he need to wash the car before applying any wax anyway? What's the logics here other than wanting to ask for a higher price to wash my car? It seems that others shared similar stories about the store. Auto Pride? I see nothing to be proud of other than their dirty business tactics to rub their customers when in need. read more

Pretty solid option for a hand car wash! I'm usually really particular and wash my car on my own to minimize the swirl marks on the clearcoat but don't have a garage anymore to do it myself. Pros 1.) Super fast. I was in and out in less than 20 mins. 2.) I noticed they had empty baskets for dirty towels and baskets of clean towels for their workers to grab. Great because I don't like swirls on my paint 3.) They don't wipe down the car for longer than necessary to seem like they're working hard to get better tips. Again, important to me because less contact with towels (even microfiber) the better IMO. 4.) They cleaned my interior and it wasn't overly shiny or greasy inside with product. Nice! Cons 1.) My wheel's center cap came out as they moved my car down the soap/water track and they didn't do anything about it until I pointed it out. I suggest doing a walk around before you leave. 2.) There were still a few small marks of grime here and there - not a big deal but a little annoying given the $30+ pre-tip price tag. Overall they did a great job and I'll be back! read more

Never. Again. I came here for the first time because my brand new car has dirt on the exterior. I paid $40 for the Gold package thinking it would be better service and quality. NOPE. When they say "100% hand wash" they mean that there is someone putting soap on your car by hand. Then they send it through a machine with jet streams of water. Then they hand dry the car. I left without checking the car because I TRUSTED that they would do a good job and I wouldn't have to double check their work. When I got to my next destination, I saw the dirt marks still remaining (see photos). I called them and they asked if I was sure it wasnt water marks. WHAT?! I came back IN PERSON and they said that these dirt marks dont come off with their hand wash. That doesnt make sense because I can literally wipe it off with soap, water, and a gentle cloth. I'm surprised they get so much business with the poor service and quality. But they wont be getting my business anymore as I can do a better job myself with for less than 25% off the cost. read more

This is officially the worst car wash business in the bay area I'll keep this brief - paid for the premium platinum service on my Model 3 for $45 and received a $15 job (if that). See the photos i attached. They claim it's 100% hand wash but as you see on the photos on Yelp, they use a machine wash. And it scratched my car The hand wash portion lasted about a minute and they left water spots all over my car. When I showed the man the poor job they did, he huffed and almost sprayed my leg while redoing it. He also didn't think i knew spanish and said "Chinga Tu Madre". I've gone here about 4 times since I've moved to the Bay and it's great! The person who rings me up always gives me a hookup with the prices because I come twice a year for a wax. My car gets super dirty because of the trees surrounding my house and they always know what to do. Great service and friendly people. Would recommend! Had to fight with them to clean certain parts. Including the ENTIRE front which was dirty as hell. That's what I paid 138 dollars for...Also, they didn't do the air refresher even though I specifically paid and specifically asked for that. Also, they flipped the rug in the my driver's seat upside down without telling me. I didn't notice until later when it felt weird. Also, they put plastic wrap on my seat with no explanation. After asking, they said I can take it off in a day after leaving the windows down. It would have been great if they'd told me without me having to ask. Unfortunately I haven't found them to be very attentive to detail and a bit on the expensive side considering this. After my first experience, this is in fact THE WORST AUTO PRIDE LOCATION LOL! I like to give establishments a couple chances to make this right but quite frankly this place didn't deserve the second chance. Brought 2 of my cars here after the crazy weather here in the Bay Area so obviously they were FILTHY. Long story short, after the wash it still had dirt/mud on the lower part of the bumpers and on the cup of the exterior door handles. I have been a member for several years now paying a membership fee monthly. I have noticed that an Employer Named Oscar does not seem to care about membership members and does not add Tape to the vehicles to protect them when entering the washing machine. If at the time of the visit he doesn't seem like he will get a sale out from the customer, he shows no interest in the members vehicle to protect it. I have used them for years. I had a monthly account to allow unlimited exterior car washes. Covid hit and I was still able to use them because I was able to drive my car through the car wash myself. Just cancelled my account today. Told someone from their staff has to get into my car and drive it through. 99% of the staff are maskless. Covid is still deadly and endemic. I am trying to clean my car not catch a virus. read more

Holy smokes this place is awesome! I went for an added value wash and had my upholstery shampooed. It's like they detailed my entire car! I've never had anybody clean the mats so thoroughly or vacuum so well. I went and had lunch and did a little shopping and they called me when it was ready! Terrible place with staff that don't care. I brought an 89 mercedes here for a regular wash. Everything was fine until they started the wax process. Someone decided to start the car and shut the engine off about 10 seconds after starting it and moving the car a few inches up. With older cars, you can't shut the engine off that quickly. When they hand me my keys, my car wouldn't start. The manager, noe Gutierrez, claimed he didn't get a radio call that they had an older model car (it's actually a classic). He told me a manager would call me as I had to tow my own car after their negligence. I never got a call back. Able Hernandez is noe's manager and apparently doesn't care as it's been a week now since the incident with no phone call. Would never trust this place again. Don't go here read more

For $45 +tips I expected more than this. My leather seats were not cleaned, even though I took maximum package. The service was fast, but I quality, not speed. They cleaned only dash board. Didn't remove drops from pine tree. Compare to LA service is so so. read more
