Did good work but expensive. You can find the exact same work for a cheaper price in my situation several hundred cheaper. Do your research!

I went to this shop in March this year, to fix some of my audio device issues. The installed stereo system was making all sorts of noises while playing at full sound. I was pretty frustrated by it. I was asked to change some parts which I was told might have got corroded. I asked them to replace those parts and the stereo was OK for two days. After that again the noise and issues started. I again had to come back to this place and replace some more parts. I am disappointed but at least replacement was affordable. read more

Now if i could give 10 stars, i would. Ive been a loyal customer for about 6 monthes already and dont plan on going anywhere else anytime soon. These guys do it all and they do it well. From audio and custom interior to machanical and suspension. Body work, tires and rims, Aftermarket parts and even custom exterior work. you name it and they do it. My first experience here was for a clutch on my 06 scion tc. Walked right in and was greeted right away. Told them i was interested in upgrading my clutch and they were more then happy to help. I spoke with drew (one of the owners) and he gave me a ton of options for clutches. Took me through clutch by clutch info and didnt mind answering any questions i had. We landed on the ACT Clutch stage 2 and he recomended also getting a fly wheel to keep up with the high paformance of the clutch, so i went with it. The clutch took about 2 days to install. When i arrived for pick up i went to pay, but was suprised that drew had asked me to not pay him until i drive the car first and make sure im happy with the shops work. I test drove It and was a little disapointed that the clutch had a ton of chatter. He reassured me that this was normal for some high paformance clutches, to brake it in for about 1000-1500 miles and if i still had a problem with it to bring it back in and they would Gladly take care of it under warranty. 1500 miles later the chatter cleared up just like he said. "Wow, these guys know their stuff". Unfortunately my girl friend and i share the car and the clutch was too much for her to handle so i decided to have a different kind of more friendly daily driver clutch put in. Went back to ASP and drew gladly helped me out. recommended Competition Clutch brand. I took his advice and couldnt be more happy. Ive also had body work done through these guys aswell as window replacement. One day the wind blew my door open and broke it off the hing and bent the track for the wondow on the inside. I took it back to ASP and this time it was Vlad (the other owner) who helped me. they took a look at it and told me it wasnt going to b an easy fix but they could get the job done. Turned out i needed to replace the whole door so vlad and drew happily called around to find one and had it delivered to their shop. "Wow, these guys took customer service to another level". "i Know shops who would of told me to find a door and bring it in myself". These guys really went above and beyond. after the job was done a few days later the window started having problems. Not rolling up & gettig stuck. I took it back in and rather them push me away and say it was not on them they took it in with no questions asked and fixed the problem free of charge. Drew and Vlad definitely know how to treat a customer and keep you coming back. Trev who is one of their machanics is also very knowledgeable and had no problem helping me out if drew or vlad werent around at the time. The ASP crew is a good group of guys and can definitely be trusted. The only bad is that these guys have so many loyal customers, they tend to get a bit bizzy sometimes and have a booked schedule. But they will work with you and find time to fit you in. Sometimes i wonder how they get all these jobs done being so bizzy. 2 thumbs up. Thnx guys. Although they ran 2 hrs behind schedule even when I had an appointment, I had a good time hanging out at the shop. He even gave me a discount in price to compensate for the wait time. My husband was looking for a place to install a new deck and speakers onto this 2013 Road Glide Harley Davidson. Couple months ago, I initially bought a low-beam headlamp for my Acura CL from Kragen for almost $100 dollars. I thought that was too expensive. Fortunately, I shopped and compared around Daly City to find a hero named Jason Kim. My interaction was very funny with him because he asked me how much I got my headlamp for and when I showed him my Kragen receipt, he replied, "Return that ****, I will give the lamp for you for $50" LOL! Jason and another guy at Auto Sound Performance named Vlad Mikshansky was pretty quick diagnosing and installing the headlamp. I eventually returned my headlamp at Kragen and got my lamp for about $60 and labor was about $20, so the total was about $80. Jason Kim and Vlad Mikshansky are the BEST "Auto Repair Buddies"! What I mean by that is they will be DIRECT AND HONEST WITH YOU as far as what the problems and costs of your car. They are NOT like Auto Dealers Scams that make you buy and repair things that you don't need. They both really know their stuff, like Jason Kim said to me, "I do this for a living" Note: This review was delayed because I couldn't remember the auto repair shop's name and I finally found Vlad's business card. MOST HELPFUL PLACE EVER! My trunk lock was broken and I've researched all over the internet what could possibly be wrong, the car was brand new! I was in San Fransisco on a trip with some friends and had a slow leak in one of my tires. I thought I could get away with filling it up before making the trip home to LA, but the leak was too fast. I called about 8 or 9 different auto body and tire repair shops in the area and no one could see me in less than 5 hours, except this place. I called, they told me to come in and had a guy check my tire in under 30 minutes. He was able to patch the leak immediately and charged me less than what I was quoted. Finally have some time to put in my review for Auto Sound Performance. I was referred to this place by my friend. I cracked my rims and brought my car to Drew and he went above and beyond to take care of me. He asked me all the right questions and contacted my insurance to file a claim with them to get me a new set of rims. He did all the leg work and got me a new set with tires and I just had to pay my deductible and an a little bit more for a betterment. I got everything done within a week. Incredible!!! He kept me informed the whole time and made sure i was taken care of. He even got me with a car rental place until my car was done. I just bought a new car and had a little money saved up for some "goodies so I took it in to get an estimate( I usually like to go to a couple of places to see who can give me the best price) I did online research and knew what engine mods I wanted, and had my eye on a particular set of rims. I went in and talked to Vlad and Trevor and they spent a good amount of time showing me products so I can get the best bang for my buck. I changed my mind about the wheels after one of them recommended a brand that was not only better quality but on sale! I brought my boyfriends car in to see why the stereo wasn't working after best buy wasn't able to figure it out. Without an appointment I waited less than 15 minutes. When they looked into it, they figured out that the problem wasn't actually the radio but a bad speaker wiring that was causing the radio to go into protection mode So instead of selling a naive girl a new stereo AND speakers, they actually just charged me to fix the wire going into the door! I've been to my fair share of shops in my lifetime and it's rare to find a place that's not trying to empty your wallet. They were really nice and realistic about the work. I took my '87 Porsche 994S to ASP to swap out the factory cassette player for a more modern deck (CD + iPod) and went back the next week to have a keyless entry/alarm installed. Jason were very knowledgeable about the stereo install, and had the JVC installed in less than an hour. The price was very fair and reasonable. The keyless remote/alarm install took a little bit longer, because the "unlock" function on the door was key&handle dependent. They took the extra time to bypass it so I can actually do lock & unlock with the remote. ASP were cool enough to do this for me with no extra cost. While waiting, I was talking to Drew about my other car's issue ('04 WRX). He was very friend and extremely knowledgeable with all type of cars. If you're in Daly City or in SF... this is a must first stop. They do great work (the stereo and the alarm were very clean installs) and very knowledgeable as well. If I had 4 thumbs, I would give Jason, Drew, and ASP all 4 thumbs up! read more
