My experience at this place started as a good 1, but ended up being another nightmare with shops…read morenot doing what you requested and then saying it must've been a miscommunication or the installation or job was done incorrectly. So I suggest when you deal with this shop or any shop, clearly write down the work to be done on the bill to avoid this issue. Also this shop replaced an alarm for me, the alarm I had was a viper, the shop manager said they were a certified viper dealer, when I looked at the remote the next day as I had picked up my car 2hrs after the shop closed and was tired. The remote was a totally different brand so be sure you get them to document what product they are installing or they will bait and switch you. Also they installed a radio antenna, but it doesn't work. This is the 2nd time I've tried to get the same work done & both shops I went to, Santa Clara Audio and Bay Area Car Audio are not places I would recommend to my friends or family. I don't usually do reviews unless they are good comments, but the restoration work on my classic has been a nightmare. And I'm fighting back the only way I can. The only reason they get 1 star is b you have to select a star to post the review. Corrective action. What can you do to improve you ask. Listen to what the customer is requesting. The manager gave me a ride home 20min ride and I explained to him exactly what I needed, but all they did was swap the alarm, but I requested them to rewire the ignition switch, pull all old wires and re hook up fresh wires because when the car was painted they didn't put the car back together right and the stereo which was just installed before I had it painted was working but works no longer, if you're familiar with auto installations as I am because I've installed the previous systems in the vehicle, you know that sometimes wires get grounded which will make the speakers sound like they're blown, or may make your amp shut off. All of the speakers amps and deck were already installed. Needless to say they changed nothing, removed no wires, all they did was install a cheaper brand alarm at a ridiculous price. I didn't pay as much as they charged for the viper alarm they removed. They basically blamed it on miscommunication, so it's my fault after they got the $.

Even with the budget I was on, they still made the system sound amazing. I worked with Luis, who even corrected a problem I had with a previous installation and made it right. He took care of me without question which is the reason why I keep coming back here. My commuter is SO much more fun to drive with this basic little sound system that sounds superior to the factory one. What's even more awesome is that the install is so clean, you can't even tell there's an aftermarket sound system installed. I'd love to see what these guys can do with a high end system.
