I had just purchased one a few days prior, but they said it was defective, and they would return it for me and replace it. It's possible right? I told them I needed a diagnostic and that the battery was new. They never ran the diagnostic, but instead charged me over $200.00 for getting another battery and putting it in. I could have, (and previously did), done that myself. Meanwhile, my car continued to have starting problems because they did not take the time to find out what the real problem was. I've had small work done here and there, but mostly smog's over the years and have never had an issue with results. Turnaround is also pretty quick, which is nice if you are waiting around, but there are other things to do in the area that are a short walk away. The service is excellent! Jeff puts the same care that Stu put into his client's cars. They wont rip you off, and they try to get to the root of the problem in the most cost effective way for the client. Jeff had my car for over 24 hours after my car died three times on my way home from work. After running tests, he asked if he could keep it overnight so he could drive it around town and see what was wrong. He said it might be an ignition switch and spent a lot of time on the phone with Honda. After finding out that the switch would cost $500, he decided to look at other options. He turned the car on and off several times, and my car did something that made him think it was the battery. He said "let's start with the battery. It's the most cost effective route." That battery has been in my car for five months now and I haven't had any issues! What service! And all for the cost of a battery. My family has been going here for years and I plan to continue doing business here for years to come. 04.18.12 - Updated My car died again in December. I took it back to Jeff's. After doing some research, Jeff discovered that there was a recall on my car for the ignition switch. He told me to take it to Honda and they would take care of it for $0.00. Four months later, my car hasn't died, and I have a new ignition switch at no cost to myself. Another example of why Jeff's 76 on Napa St. totally rocks!
