This shop cares. If you care about your car, you know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy and honest, and think in your shoes or using the cliche "treating your car like their own". This place genuinely made me feel like they do. Having multiple high performance cars across different makes, it's a constant battle finding the right guy to work on them. I tried going to the official dealers with a nice front, getting charged outrageously in the front end and getting screwed at the back end, either over subpar work, multiple visits or even hidden unresolved issues. Also tried going to places that charge cheaper, but treat your 6 fig car like a honda sitting in the sun for months letting the sun damage the leather and swirls all over the clear coat, never again. You also have very good shops that used to be good, but as they grew busy and big, management suffers and you get a decline in customer service and quality of work while paying more and more over the years. That's why AU tuning is a gem really. They are very detailed oriented, the mechanic's repair notes are some of the most thorough you will see, describing the cause, the findings and resolution. For a simple service, you will receive 20-50 pictures of the work being done plus any damage or stuff that needs attention that they see. Simply mind blowing. Remember those a million pt "courtesy" inspection done at official dealers as part of your oil change? complete BS. The tech didnt check anything other than perhaps tires and brakes. So if you are a very demanding and detailed customer like me, you provide instructions and details and they actually read it and take note. You share instructions from forums, youtube videos of similar problems or others performing the work, they actually read and listen instead of blocking it out due to ego or not willing to spend time on it. They also really watch the cosmetics side of the cars really well, they cover up the rear quarter panels with temporary ppf when they need to reach over the panels, so to avoid swirling up the paint. They dont wipe it down with some wet towels and swirl up the paint, they leave it untouched for a proper wash when you get the car back. All your services also get reported to carfax, which I think is great as that provides a good history to the car. They are also very flexible and open with your providing the parts (just no warranty associated with it), which a lot of places dont do. I got to know them from a friend who swears by them with his r8, and so I tried them out with some warranty repairs on my r8 and couldnt be happier. They know how to deal with 3rd party warranties and makes the process a breeze. Then I realized they work on cars in the VW family (bentley,porsche, lambo) and started sending other cars other than audi. When I asked if they work on the italians, they are very upfront to let me know they have limited experience and are willing to try. I sent in two of mine italians and they graciously helped me out with a lot of stuff. Long story short, I took my vehicle in for an alignment. Found out that I had installed hardware wrong while making upgrades in my rear suspension. I was charged $600 to replace the hardware, endlinks, and an alignment. Weeks later, that same "replaced" hardware broke (2 bolts that had been "replaced" from regular daily driving.) I emailed them video and pictures to see if they could warranty their work, they replied for me to bring it in. Was not told I would be charged $75 just to look at the problem which we all knew what it was. Gave me some B.S. about they didn't know if extra work needed to be done to extract the bolts. Left the vehicle as soon as they opened, told me I would be contacted in an hour, no call. Had to call them that afternoon to see what happened. Told me they would have to keep my vehicle over night. I was already upset, no way I was going to let them keep it again. Went to pick it up that afternoon, to never comeback. I had paid them to make sure all hardware was correct, they failed and attempted to charge me an extra $75 to look at something they had worked on already and should not of happened in the first place. They also failed on making things right and fixing the situation. They rather waste my time and money. read more

We have a Tiguan with 135K miles on it and the engine siezed on the crankshaft bearings... Raz at AU Tuning helped us figure out our options. We decided to replace the engine.
