I bought a car from them in February and right after I bought it the man told me it's a good thing to get the mileage warranty because you never know when a transmission could go out. less than two months later my transmission was failing I went in and they were sending me to a shop to get the fluid checked but scheduled me for a day the shop was closed. I called over and over and left messages without a call back. I went in for registration since registration was due on April 3. went in several times and said they had it done. needless to say it's almost the end of June. my car is still not registered and I have no title. they informed me they finished it on May 9 but still nothing. I cannot sell my car that's breaking down. I cannot register it to drive it around town. DMV says I cannot do anything until they do their part but they will not do their part. do not go to them. they are scammers read more

This guy was an asshole over the phone. Snarky, rude, and impatient. It's like they don't want you to buy a car in the first place.

Total D bag. Sold us a car and he didn't even have the title. We had the car impounded for 14 days as a direct result of him not having the title. The plate expired, I called 3 months in a row to get the title to acquire a plate. So basically the car was useless because I couldn't register it so I got no benefit of use from the date the temporary plate expired though the 14 day impound time. Finally I ended up driving as my other car didn't start, I got pulled over and impounded because I had no way to prove ownership. Mickey Edwards admitted guilt but refused to pay the damages save one payment which was a fraction of the damages. I called the DMV they immediately directed me to their fraud department. The fraud investigator called Mickey Edwards and immediately got back to me. They told me in no uncertain terms he was supposed to have the title within 40 days of sale. After the fraud guy called, Mickey Edwards from West coast auto sales Redding wouldn't answer the phone anymore and had his wife or girlfriend call instead. This guy lied more than once about being in possession of the title and even went as far as to say he faxed the title so I could get it released from impound 3 times. Each time I went they had not received a fax or heard from west coast auto at all. Finally when I had the fraud department call him, he admitted to not having the title and agreed to take care of the damages and have the title expressed from Dmv. He only paid a fraction of the damage and is now harassing me like I did something wrong. He literally called my work several times telling the secretary he will harass them until they fire me, which is funny because she just makes a note of the harassment and typed me a nice little affidavit agreeing to appear to be cross examined with a smile saying he sounds like a real d bag. read more
