Sales ppl were alright. Diane in finance is absolutely awful. Racked up almost $10,000 over with hidden added things. All while telling us she was giving us the best deal and taking care of us etc. added on a tracker we knew nothing about that was almost $3,000 alone. Convinced us of a warranty, told us it would be $4,900 added on ended up being about $8,900. So double. Do not recommend but if you do go here avoid this lady at all costs. Thankfully the manager made things right after a Cpl of weeks of calling and arguing with them. Still hard to trust this business after that. read more

Just simply amazed. I worked with Todd and honestly couldn't be happier with the experience. I put in a request last night around 5-6pm and was contacted within about 10 minutes. I'll admit, my first thought was, oh great, here comes a pushy salesman. But within the first few minutes, it was clear Todd was different. No pressure at all--just genuine questions about what we were looking for. We ended up talking for a good 30-45 minutes, and at no point did I feel rushed or pressured. I told him we needed time to think and that nothing was set in stone, and again--zero pressure. He spoke with his manager, called me back within a few minutes, and we sent over our information. I just recently bought a vehicle that was smog at crown motors Nissan. I have the paperwork signed by their technician. When I took the vehicle to my mechanic I found out that the cats had been hollowed out. Which led me to believe that there was some shady business going on. I talked to crown Nissan about my vehicle and they said that they have no record of my vehicle ever being small there. Put the paperwork was sent directly from their machine to the DMV. I got the beer of automotive repair involved. Of course crown motors denied any wrongdoing. I definitely wouldn't recommend doing any business there. To me it looks like some of their technicians are up to some shady business. read more

I wanted to leave a more recent review. My wife and I have bought 2 new Nissans over the last 45 days (mine is nicer than hers ;) Danielle and Brittany were our Salesperson and Finance Manager. The sales process was very smooth and there were no problems. Danielle is one of the internet Sales Agents and she was very respectful and responsive. There was a little hiccup on the corporate side of Nissan valuing our trade but Danielle did well getting us all she could. Brittany was very professional and fun to work with in the end process. She is a real sweetheart taking very good care of our needs. Finally it was a great pleasure to find out Bill Hollifield is the Service Manager here. I dealt with him years ago when he was at Chevy and I love that he pretends to be a curmudgeon (as do I) but I really know without a shadow of a doubt what good hands I am in. He contacted the warranty co and got it all covered, also had a service. The vehicle was done on time. He took the time to go over all repairs and explained everything. However I have not had an opportunity to utilize their services because we ended up playing a mean game of phone tag and it seems we both called it a draw. This review is for the Crown Motors Nissan service department. I've been taking my Nissan here for maintenance including oil changes for three years now. Since I bought it new, I wanted it to be maintained by the dealership. Not any more. Besides the bad coffee and the styrofoam cups and the dark unpleasant waiting room, these guys just seem a bit lazy and I don't see any pride in their work. Today, I got an oil change and was supposed to get a tire rotation. I asked if they do a complimentary car wash, and they said, "Not anymore due to Covid-19," yet to be honest, I already knew that they don't since they've never done one in three years. They didn't rotate my tires because they said I needed new tires even though the vehicle only has 35,000 miles on it and the tires seem to me to have plenty of tread left (at least another five to ten thousand miles, so that I wouldn't have to replace them for a few more oil changes, and would still benefit from a tire rotation). The straw that broke the camel's back and prompted this revised review is that when I dropped the car off, the low washer fluid light was on on my dash. When they returned the car to me, the low washer fluid light was still on because they didn't even top up my fluids. read more

Went to Crown motors Nissan for a simple programming of a key FOB. I did NOT buy the FOB at Crown but, did buy an OEM Factory nissan Key FOB for a 370z... The technician, Roger, informed that sometimes FOB's that were not bought there may not accept the programming and that Crown Motors would still expect to be paid the quoted $200.00. Fine I understand this and accepted this... 2 hours later I am informed by Roger that the reprogramming had caused my ECU to completely lock up and that the vehicle would not start or run even using my original key fob that I used to drive the car to the dealership... Roger tried repeatedly tried to tell me that he had warned me that something like this might happen, HE DID NOT !! He only stated that if the programming failed Nissan still expected to be paid for their time. Now I am out my vehicle for at least 3-4 days and they have NOT figured out what the problem is. Roger, the tech repeatedly tried blaming a blank key fob for these issues. EVERY tech that I have contacted says this is B.S. ! A fob could NOT shut down my ECU and that this is a Tech/installation/programming mistake ! NOT the FOB.... Now I am being told that I may have to purchase a $1700.00 ECU plus get it installed with all associated costs.. This is garbage, once this issue is fixed I will never take any of my cars back to them. I own a 2004 T-Bird, bought at Crown and a Nissan 370z (not bought at Crown) neither will go there again !! I was given a formal in writing price last week, I declined, then decided to go forward today. Nothing was said to me that indicated the price they offered had gone up $2000. I gave them personal private financial information to finalize the purchase at the purchase price repeated verbally on the phone call--the price sheet given to me last week--and just before the call ended and the downpayment accepted--I was told it would be $2000 higher. That I had turned down lease options, which are obviously more valuable to this company than an outright sale, I think factored heavily into this kind of bait and switch. It was the most disappointing purchase of a vehicle experience I've ever had and I've been around a very long time. That they took all my financial information in the sequence of buying this car at the price re-affirmed verbally today from the offer sheet last week--and then reneged completely says volumes about this business. judge for yourself read more

The battery in my key fob was dying (which meant I'd be SOL soon since my car is a push start model) so I purchased one at Ace Hardware. For whatever reason, it would not work. When I called Nissan, I was transferred to Andy who was such a delight. He told me to come on down & he'd take care of it for me. & that's exactly what he did! Lol So kind, professional & generous. I've never dealt with the sales department so I can't comment on them. However, I have taken my 2012 Nissan Rogue for service numerous times for the past 3 years and each time they've treated me right. I got an estimate at a Bay Area Nissan (Antioch to be exact) for 90K service and the service guy said $1,000 without explaining anything to me. Fortunately, we also live in Redding as well so I decided to call Crown Nissan's service department and asked for the same estimate. I wish I can remember the name of the person but he explained everything to me and what I may need for my car. When all is said and done, I spent $250. This is just one of a few instances that they have treated me right. Another time was when my tire service light came on (tire maintenance). The service advisor told me that they usually charge $15 to rotate the tires but since I bought the tires from Big O, Big O would rotate it for me without charge. He gave me the choice to go to Big O or have them rotate it for $15. Another example was when I went to have my brakes checked at the Antioch dealer, they told me I needed new brakes. Their estimate was around $700+. Crown Nissan told me I didn't need to have my brakes done since they measured at 5mm and would not need it changed until they get to 2-3mm. Even that, it would just be my rear brakes that needed to be changed since my front brakes were still really good. Not one time have I felt cheated, conned or tricked into having anything done. These guys are nice and all but apply unethical high-pressure sales tactics. I was there on Saturday: they tried to get me to sign a contract saying that if they approve me and offer me the price I want I will then have to drive away with the car. I told them I am not signing the contract so the (nice) guy goes back to his manager and comes back saying that he'll explain to me what the contract "means." I told him that his explanation means nothing; we're bounded by the four corners of the document (lawyer talk). More pressure. Eventually, they let go, and came back with an insanely high offer. When I arrived I was told that all of the mechanics were at lunch and my vehicle did not end up being ready until 2:30. I normally go to a different dealer where I bought my vehicle used and this dealership was unprofessional and did not provide correct information compared to other places I have been to and I was very disappointed in the service. read more

This review is specifically to thank Nicole in Service. She is outstanding in customer service and follow up. My daughter's Honda broke down a good distance away in Tannery Gulch. Nicole helped immediately to recommend a local AAA towing service (Keith's Towing - also outstanding) to pick her car up and transport my daughter and cousin 50 miles to the dealership. Nicole also arranged for a rental car at half the rate of others and even though it was Friday, she had the mechanic diagnose the problem and promise to have it worked on by Saturday. Nicole's constant attention and genuine concerns for all aspects of our problem was the type of customer service you only dream about when you're in a jam. As far as the service goes I had no problem. Although it did take all day it was done correctly and I appreciate that. The customer service and the way I've been treated is astonishing. I brought my car in for service and left with a missing wallet. I have a main wallet with my credit and debit cards that I carry on me at all times, and I also have(not anymore) another wallet that I keep my rewards cards, gift cards, medical cards, and punch cards. That one stays in the pocket of my door at all times. It never leaves. And I am confident of that. Whenever I need anything from that wallet I am in my car so it makes sense for it to stay there. I know for a fact that this wallet went missing while my car was in possession of crown motors. I used it the day before when I got out of it a Cheesecake Factory gift card. The following day I had service done. The day after that I went to use a Starbucks gift card and low and behold my wallet is missing. I promptly let Jim in the customer car center know what had happened and his excuse is that if May have flown out of the door. No. It didn't and wouldn't. It is tucked in a pocket, visible to the eye but not able to fly out. After deflecting all of my questions he said he would have to get back to me after talking to my service advisor who was Rick to see what may have happened. It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything. It would be one thing if this walled travelled from my body to the car and the house, but it doesn't. It NEVER leaves my door and I made that clear. The fact that he hasn't called me back to either give more excuses, or offer some sort of perk for my 200 dollars in gift cards and loss of all punch cards and rewards cards is astonishing. I want to change my review! Old review: Took our 2012 Altima in for transmission issues- service department was great, however, Nissan does not back their product. They have extended their warranties on some of the lemons they have sold, due to cvt transmission problems, but ours wasn't included. $5k for new transmission for a car with 80k miles.... there are many forums and chat groups dedicated to Nissans poor customer service in dealing with these repairs. Further, in speaking with someone "higher up" they stated that crown wasn't an authorized service center for Nissan, so they wouldn't accept crown nissans documentation. They will say or do anything to avoid responsibility for their crappy product, knowing that the transmissions are a huge problem. Love Crown and definitely would have bought another Nissan, until We realized that customer service and accepting responsibility does not exist for Nissan. New review: crown manager responded so fast! To reiterate, my problem was not with crown, it was with Nissan Corp- service guys were great and it wasn't their fault that the transmission went out... anyway, after quick response, I can say I will definitely get my next car from Crown, based solely on the response of the manager, who intervened on our behalf to help us solve our problem! read more

We are planning on replacing or Armada soon, but NOT with any Nissan only because of the dealership - no because of the how the SUV performed. It is a great family truck but bringing it to Redding Nissan we had very bad experiences!!! Recently we brought it for just oil change and tire rotation, they DID NOT rotate the tires even though we asked and its time and of course we will pay - service said they did measurements and it does not need rotation ! We put over 6k miles on it since the last rotation. #2 I brought it in before for oil change, I was told I need the brake worked on right away and would cost me over $400, I brought it to Les Schwab instead and I was told It was still good, so I came back later and asked for the service manager who said it was not checked closely and was just eye balled and he asked for a written explanation from the mechanic who looked at it. #3 Our heater/aircon was working but the air was always on full blast and we can't regulate it, brought it to Nissan and we were told we need over $2k to replace the whole system, well it was working so we thought just wait until we can pay for it. We brought it back after a year,a different mechanic looked at it and we only paid $150 to fix it! All that and the people in service are just plain unfriendly. read more

I made an appointment for my brakes to be done and was told that it would take 2 hours but when I went to drop my car off the guy that was helping me indicated to me that it would be longer than 2 hours because there were other people in front of me and they had to break for lunch. So my question is why make an appointment at 11 o'clock, tell the customer that it's going to take 2 hours when you know you're gonna take off for lunch and that there's other people in front of you? So when I told them that wouldn't work for me they offered to make me another appointment and when that happened they actually made it for 11 30 which is a 1/2 hour before they break for lunch and I was still told it would take 2 hours!! As a long time customer I seriously felt that the service tech was giving me lip service. Well, that's ok because I was able to go to one of their competitors and make an appointment. From the initital phone call, e-mails and then going in person to the dealership was so much more than I could have possibly expected ~ everyone was wonderful!!! Patient, understanding, caring and just wanting me to make the right decision in my purchase. They didn't push me in any way and just wanted what was best for me whether I purchased a vehicle or not. Steve Roberts, the General Manager and owner of all the Crown Motors (Dodge, Ford, Honda, Lincoln, Nissan and Ram) took a great interest in how everything was going and being handled, checking in periodically.
