I'd heard from friends for years that I should take my vehicles to Sammy at Auto World Service Center in Temecula.

Five Stars -- My '69 VW Bus Got New Shoes... and Apparently She's High Maintenance!…read more If you own a vintage Volkswagen, you already know the deal. You don't just drop her off somewhere and say, "Throw some tires on it." Oh no. Owning a nearly 60-year-old VW Bus is a little like dating a very needy girlfriend. She wants the right shoes. They have to fit perfectly. She wants everyone to be gentle with her. And if somebody treats her wrong, you're definitely going to hear about it on the ride home. Thankfully, Dylan and the crew at American Tire understood the assignment. I've been a longtime customer, but bringing in my 1969 Volkswagen Bus required a little more attention than your average tire change. Dylan and his staff took their time making sure we had the correct tire size and proper fitment before doing anything. And believe me--I was probably that guy. "Are you sure they'll fit?" "Can we check that again?" "Please be careful with the wheels." "How are you tightening the lug nuts?" Basically, I was hovering around like an overprotective VW dad while my Bus was getting fitted for a new pair of shoes. But Dylan and his team never made me feel like I was being a pain. They were patient, professional, and understood that when someone brings you a vintage vehicle, it's more than just another car. What really impressed me was the attention to detail. The team hand-tightened each lug nut and took the time to inspect everything around the wheels and tires to make sure everything looked right. No rushing, no impact-gun NASCAR pit stop--just careful, professional work. That kind of attention means a lot when you're trusting someone with a vehicle that's been on the road since 1969. They also gave me a very respectable longtime-customer discount, which was greatly appreciated. It's always nice when a business recognizes the people who continue to come back year after year. Bottom line: Dylan and his staff were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, patient, professional, and treated my vintage VW with exactly the kind of care I was hoping for. So the Bus has officially left American Tire with four new shoes, all the attention she demanded, and absolutely no appreciation for the guy who actually paid the bill. Typical. She's happy. I'm happy. My wallet survived. Five stars for Dylan and the entire American Tire crew. The '69 Bus is back on the road, riding great and looking good. Now excuse me while I take my high-maintenance German girlfriend for a drive through Wine Country. Be Aloha. Drive Vintage.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. The staff is awesome. Great attitude, service,…read moreknowledge, etc. I came in right before closing on 9/12/26, with a screw in my tire, thinking they might have to turn me away (I would not have been upset since they were wrapping up). Dylan was great -- totally accommodating, and took care of it. Love these guys!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to the guys here for taking care of me today. I bought my tires from…read morethis location and came in for my free tire rotation since it was due. After I left, I noticed my steering wheel and even the gas pedal were vibrating/bouncing pretty bad around 40-60 mph. The car was driving perfectly smooth before, so naturally I thought maybe something happened during the rotation. I called them and they told me to bring it right back so they could check it out. I came back a little frustrated just because I didn't know what was going on, but the guys were cool about everything and took the time to look into it. They found that two of my rims were slightly bent and explained that they were probably on the rear before the rotation, which is why I wasn't really feeling it. Once those wheels got rotated to the front, the vibration became way more noticeable. They even brought me into the shop and showed me the wheels spinning on the machine. You could actually see them going up and down/side to side, so what they were telling me made complete sense. What I really appreciated was that it was already getting close to closing time and these guys had been busy all day, but they still had me come back and took care of me. I was literally the last customer to leave and they never made me feel rushed. Great customer service and everyone was respectful the whole time. I appreciate them taking the time to actually show me what was wrong instead of just telling me. Definitely recommend this location.

So much better than all the other locations in the area…read more I dropped by just to get the air pressure checked because my tire pressure light came on. The associate was really friendly and helpful when he told me that the rear right one was significantly lower than the rest. He recommended that I come in to get it inspected as soon as possible, just in case, since it was going to rain the next day. It was a good thing that I did, too, because there was a giant nail in the tire! They were able to repair it, so it didn't cost me anything other than my time. The wait for walk-ins was only about 1.5 hours, which isn't bad at all considering how last-minute it was. The associate who helped me with it was also super kind and made the entire process extremely easy. Their tire pressure station is also a lot more efficient and organized. There's always someone ready to pump up your tires, while the other location near my house has an insanely long line because there's usually no associate there ready to work the machine. Always a pleasant experience!
