I'm a former professional gear head and when I have time to work on my vehicles, I do enjoy turning wrenches, wiring, replacing items and keeping my vehicles looking/running great! I absolutely love that veterans working here have uniform shirts recognizing them as veterans! If you see one, ask them what branch of service they were in and what they did! Much better than just thanking them for their service! Getting into it is pretty easy and exiting might be a bit slow due to NW HWY traffic. Plenty of up close parking (important if you are carrying heavy parts to your vehicle)! The staff is very knowledgeable and have many tools to find more expertise! The store is laid out very logically, is neat with full shelves.

Turns out the battery for my car is a little unique, and unfortunately the only one they had would've been extremely expensive for me. Instead of selling me that, Tommy gave me advice on where to go. He then jumped my car, tested my battery and tightened one of the latches on my battery. I asked him how much it would cost, and he said nothing. Tommy was incredible. Next time I need anything (aside from a battery) I'm heading back to this autozone because of him.

They had a good deal of business in the store but I was second in line. After the manager ignored customers (what he was working on must have been more important to even tell customers that someone would be with them shortly...) a gentleman looked up my wiper size and led me to the correct section. I then had to tell them which wipers I needed (the size and type). I mean, c'mon AutoZone, wipers aren't one size fits all, your database can't tell these guys that? I know this because I had a different Autozone sell me the wrong ones before...they didn't form to my window. While I was trying to pay the manager interrupts the transaction for the guy to go help someone else that came in after me. Really?! So then I sat there and waited for him to finish. They were just less than friendly, less than knowledgeable, and the manager was so rude...he needs some people skills and some managerial skills. I assume people go here because they have to...I had a hard time finding an auto parts store that was not this one....I will look harder next time.

I purchased a Duralast battery (Model 75DT-DL, Group Size 75, 650 CCA) from the AutoZone location…read moreon Garland Road in Dallas, TX, in November 2024. Before purchasing, I asked the salesperson a very specific question: If this battery fails within the 2-year free replacement window and I receive a new battery, does the new battery come with a fresh 2-year warranty? I was told "Absolutely." To be certain, I asked to speak to the store manager, and received the same answer. In May 2025, just six months later, the battery completely failed. I went to the AutoZone on Ross Avenue to replace it (because that was the closest store to where it died). When I explained what I had been told about the warranty resetting, I was met with a completely different response. I was told flat-out that the warranty does not restart and was treated with condescension for even suggesting otherwise. No attempt was made to explain the discrepancy--just rude and dismissive behavior. At this point, I'm unsure which store gave me incorrect information--but one of them clearly did. I was very clear when I asked my question at the time of purchase, and I relied on the answer I was given when making the decision to buy. The battery failing after only six months is disappointing enough on its own. But being told different things by two separate AutoZone locations--and being treated poorly in the process--is unacceptable. I expect consistency from a national chain, especially when it comes to warranty terms that directly affect the customer's rights and expectations.
