Do NOT order anything from these people and expect it to have been ordered. it's always always something with them ; always every time. Last Wednesday I ordered a part transfer from a store 15 miles away and was told ,"no problem ; call tomorrow we should have it". I call today and not only do they not have it, they put me on hold for 7 minutes, then 11 minutes as they " handle" 2 customers AS IF we EVER are standing in line for 7 or 11 minutes. (LIE FOR NO REASON). Then, I call the next nearest store, they tell me "yea I'm on the phone with them now please hold.". 7 minutes later it turns out the Palandale store tells the ceres guy (on the phone) that A TOTALLY DIFFERENT MODESTO STORE THAT NEVER EVEN HAD THE ITEM has lost the item.... good job guys. This is just one of the maybe 4 issues in the last year. The last time was me asking them to charge two batteries. one was charged (the bad 1) and one was a good battery that was never charged as I asked them to do and they said they would do. If you want a store to price match, go to any other autozone location except this one. One of the managers there not Juan but he's more light skinned fat Hispanic and wears glasses is a jerk. Pretty sure his name is Abraham. I needed to buy some headlight bulbs and I asked if he could price match with Walmarts $19.75 price and he said "I don't know what you're talking about I only see $35.49 on this screen" with a stupid smirk on his face. This photo is his computer at Autozone so he clearly saw the cheaper price and just wanted to give me a hard time. Told me if I didn't like it to go elsewhere. Sure enough, went to a different Autozone in Modesto and they price matched without even needing to look it up. One of the store managers helped me tonight, Juan. He first answered my questions over the phone and then when I got to the store. It was around 7pm and I was on my way home from working all day and needed a battery. I also needed someone to install it for me and Juan was so gracious. He was extremely professional and courteous; very customer focused. He helped me choose the right battery and then installed it for me quickly. He was the perfect example of excellent customer service. I have been coming to this store for years and will continue because of the quality service I receive from folks like Juan. read more

Had originally receipt for two products, products were unopened and not damaged. Bought within 30 days and attempting to return. Store employee refused to accept returned. They asked me to call corporate for a "transaction number". I spoke with corporate, they said there is such no transaction needed, and my return should have been valid. I was instructed to return to store and request a refund. Once again I was denied and told to contact corporate. So I emailed corporate instead. Same story, there's no transaction number. Once again validated my returns. I even asked them to speak with the store directly. Which corporate claimed to have done so. I received an email that it had been resolved with the store. Well... I arrived at the store and was denied service. I was told I can get my return at a different store. They wouldn't even bother with my return. They are still holding my money read more

Took my battery to get tested. I didnt remember where a purchase so i took it here. They had the battery all night. Nobody called me like they said they would. I came back and they said batterywas bad and gave me receipt. So it showed that the battery had only been10 months old. So they said take it to oreilly they will warranty it. So i drove to oreilly and they said before we do warranty swap lets check battery first. So they did i waited for 25 mins and come to find battery is good. I dontknow what happen when autozone had in there charging station but i thaught they were just trying to sell me a new battery. This is bad! read more

But, the manager, Abraham, went out of his way and said he could help me change a couple of them, and even helped me again when I came back a few days later to change the last one (I had gone to another shop to buy this last filter since it wasn't in stock here and the workers there also said they didn't change filters). Before I start this review, I just want to say that the girl who worked here was a great help, but the guy who was working.... he was wearing a gray shirt. I didn't catch his name, but I had asked for help installing my wind shield wipers and he said he would help me in just a moment. The store was empty. There was one guy in there and he was being helped by the girl cashier. About 5 minutes pass and I'm waiting outside.. I decide to walk back in, he sees me and he goes to the back. Didn't even acknowledge me. So no, I won't be recommending this store to anyone because of that guy alone. read more

If I could give this location no stars I would because I took an elderly couple over there with a dead battery in their 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan and they wanted them to wait in the heat almost 100 degrees and the man just got outta the hospital from being ill and Juan the assistant manager said they'd have to wait til everyone was outta the store before he could help them even tho I was the customer in front of him!!! This is definitely my place to go to when I need anything for my truck! I absolutely love all the products I have used from this store. They always have good deals on everything you need. Their employees are knowledgeable and friendly. I shop here for oils, fuel, coolants, tools, cleaners, soaps, polishers, air freshness, armor all, I have even purchased phone holders, radio transmitters, and chargers from here that have all worked well. All you have to provide them with is basic information about your car such as your car make model and mileage also type of engine. They'll point you into the right direction. I have a rewards card with autozone which comes in handy for every time you purchase $20 or higher you earn a point every 5 points you get $20 off on your next purchase. This to me is big savings. If you know what you're doing at all under the hood, here's where you want to be. Why go to the dealer and get violated by outrageous costs for your auto parts when you can just buy them yourself here for a fraction of the cost? Very Helpful store. Great customer service. Today I needed to get a battery for my car. The battery was about to die and I needed to get one right away because it would not keep a charge. I also asked them to put it in for me due to attending a wedding and I didnt want to get dirty. The girl at the counter was very quick to help me and Chris was awesome in putting my new battery in. He was very friendly. I would keep going here but I live in So Cal. Highly recommend this store for your Automotive needs. There are other auto stores close by but I dont recommend them. O'Reilly's is down the street and was very unfriendly. I went there the night before, 5 minutes before the store closed and the kid helping me seemed upset. I asked if they would put in the battery for me and he said "Yes but not tonight. Dude, we close in 5 minutes." I guess I expect too much. No going above and beyond for customer. I was so mad. After working for an hour taking my car apart I went down to Autozone on Pelandale to buy the part. When the guy inside saw me pull up in the car he ran over and locked he door.
