Without a doubt, customer service is A-1 priority, even to the point of giving cookies away while you wait! I've now been a customer the better part of this year, and each and every time I walk in the place, I can breathe easy knowing that I'm dealing with the most truthful people in the auto mechanic business. They consistently work for you and not the bottom line, and will do whatever they can to give you the best deal possible. If you happen to live/work in the Brentwood/Cool Springs/Franklin area, they offer a FREE shuttle service so that you're not waiting at the shop, or having to jump through hoops with friends and family to arrange a pick up. They'll even pick you back up and take you back to the shop to get your car too, once it's ready! If a repair is going to take more than a day, they have really nice loaner cars available for use. I'm from out of state, but when my van started having problems while I was in town, I brought it to AutoFix and I couldn't be more glad that I did. This company provided EXCELLENT service. The staff is unbelievably friendly, and everyone there seems genuinely happy to be there and happy to serve you--NOT something you see everyday! What a refreshing change of pace. They completed several repairs that my van required and replaced my tires for a far better price than I was quoted by my local NTB. The repairs were completed in a timely manner and I feel that they did a very thorough job. I feel very comfortable trusting them with the safety of my family. The manager Branch, and the tech, Barry, who worked on my car were both very pleasant and happy to meet my needs. They have a wonderful waiting area, and free shuttling, both from their shop, and back to their shop so that there is no need to sit and wait for long periods of time or make plans with friends or family. Terrific from bottom to top. I had prompt greeting and diagnostic in an extremely timely fashion. "Fixin Cars" is the owner's radio show on WWTN 99.7 FM Nashville TN. That is where I had my first encounter with Aaron Stokes, the owner. He called me after the show to discuss my problem at length. Twice more I had off air phone conversations with him regarding afore mentioned issue, which is too complex to discuss for this review. I couldn't believe this guy was taking time out of his life especially on a day his shop was closed !! After my diagnostic check was done, the owner came out to their immaculately clean lobby and lounge to meet me, the person who he had spent at least 45 minutes with over a three call period. Here is the really good part, NO CHARGE !!! This man is a true entrepreneur who started with $50.00 worth of tools in a barn in Franklin, TN 10 years ago and has built a total of 9 shops, some for European cars and some for American and Asian cars. I took my 2002 Subaru to Autofix for a second opinion. I was told by a dealership that I needed a oil pan gasket and both front axle seals. What made me suspicious was that I thought I would of noticed some fluid on my garage floor. When I arrived at Autofix, I was greeted and helped right away. They explained how their process works. They told me they would look over everything and then show me my recommendations for repair. Within 15 minutes they walk me back with my Technician Rick. Yes , they took me into the bay and under the car to show me everything. Rick explained to me their scale on rating repairs on cars. He showed me that "what the other shop" said was a leak. It was not leaking at all. Imagine that! They just saved me a ton of money. They did not even charge me for the evaluation of the car, which they could of. Short version: Autofix gave me the best car repair experience of my life. Go there, Branch at the front desk will get you taken care of. Long version: Autofix provided me a Christmas miracle today and I'm still on cloud 9. My 2008 CrV was not blowing hot air in the cabin. They discussed the problem over the phone with me and let me know they could diagnose my car's problem today for FREE. I appreciate that I didn't have to wait around for someone to help. Once I got there, they diagnosed it immediately, explained the problem with clarity, the mechanic was there to discuss the details with me and I felt COMPLETELY assured that my car was in good hands. They found and fixed the problem while I was waiting and I drove home with my car in about an hour. (They offered me a free shuttle ride anywhere in town if I didn't want to wait, and they also have loaner cars starting at $20 per day.) Branch, and Franklin Autofix, are truly the best auto repair experience I've ever had. Being from only an hour away, I've always dealt with folks from back home and have been lucky to not need urgent repairs since moving to Nashville 6 yrs ago. So when my master cylinder went out in my 4runner, I was pretty overwhelmed at such a large repair. Autofix was actually the 2nd person I consulted with and they confirmed what the first place had said. In the end, they were able to get me in asap and offered shuttle and rental services that the other didn't, and I felt Branch was on it from the first time we talked. They towed it in around lunch, got to work and diagnosed the problem, and told me my options on parts, both new and used, before I got off work that day, They had it fixed in a day after the part came in. Not only did my brake feel brand new, they cleaned my car, too. It's been 3 months, and I have had no problems. Branch and Autofix took all the stress out of my significant auto repair. I called AutoFix to schedule an oil change for my Ford Escape. Thankfully, they were able to get me in the next day. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the manager, Branch, with a bottle of water and a warm chocolate chip cookie...yes a warm cookie. Who does that? Within no time they had my car around back for the oil change and I set up camp in the waiting room and worked on my laptop. Very comfortable and clean amenities. It didn't take long for Branch to come grab me to show me what was going on with my vehicle. Fortunately, it was nothing major, but his mechanic pointed out some minor recommendations to help maintain my car. I asked how long it would take, and they said everything was in stock and they would have it ready within a few minutes. All in all, my experience was quick, painless, and extremely professional. I have been to AutoFix today to fix my cars HeadLight and Indicator light. The staff was courteous and welcoming. They took my car and told me that they are going to give me a quote in few minutes. After about 15 minutes, my car was outside with both the lights fixed. They handed me the car keys and when I said that 'I had to pay'. They responded that 'For there customers, It is their policy to give free service if it took less then 15 minutes for minor parts replacements.' That's right "I did not paid a penny". It was a pleasant surprise. This is the first time I have been to AutoFix but after my experience and going through other reviews, I am definitely getting back here for services. They also gave a 50% discount card for the Oil Change Service. Truly my experience is 'As good as it gets!' I am highly recommending AUTOFIX to Friends and Family. read more

This place rocks. After several disappointing visits at a dealership, I went in search of a local place in hopes of an honest opinion. No one likes dealing with vehicle maintenance or issues, but if you have them, this is the place to go. AutoFix puts an impressive focus on customer service and I've been in awe of how nicely I've been treated each time I've visited. They've even worked me in last minute for "emergency" issues. I cannot say enough good things about Branch, Rick, and Luis. They are incredibly professional, do excellent work, and also follow-up after the work is completed to ensure satisfaction. They've got a complimentary shuttle if your car needs to stay, or you can take out a sweet rental (luxury convertible, etc) from Thomas through Stokes, their onsite partner. These people stand behind their work. Honestly, it's some of the best customer service I have ever seen. I had an expensive repair done there. I drive a diesel and had my fuel injection pump replaced. It's about a $2,000 job. A few months later, it failed again. They were not able to determine the cause but they replaced it again for free. I then moved to Texas where it failed again. My new mechanic was able to figure out what was causing the failure. It was fuel contamination (something that isn't even covered under most warranties). They actually sent my new mechanic a fuel injection pump at no charge simply because they weren't able to figure out the cause of the problems. My new mechanic was really surprised. In the past, I had taken our Saab to Euro Fix, which is also owned by Aaron Stokes. I now have two Chrysler vehicles and was very pleased to learn that Auto Fix was coming to Franklin, TN. The Franklin facility services both foreign and American made cars. I've dealt with many dealerships and service garages over the past 50 years and Auto Fix is definitely the "cream of the crop". loved this place. i had been for an oil change and really liked the price and the service so when i needed something checked on my civic i returned. they took me right in, even though i was 20 min late due to traffic delays. their waiting area has everything you need to keep yourself busy during your visit and is very comfortable. they checked the issue thoroughly, and gave me a very complete assessment of my car's condition. even though i opted not to get the part at this time, they didn't pressure me and they didn't charge me a dime for their time. i would recommend this place to ANYONE who is sick of the typical auto shop. don't make them too busy though, i want them to be able to fit me in when i need them, lol. read more

I have been listening to Aaron for years on Saturday mornings on WTN in Nashville. Everything that he espoused about his company sounded great so when I got the dreaded check engine light on my 2006 Cadillac, I decided to take it to the Amerifix location in Franklin. I have been very pleasantly surprised in from the very beginning. They got me in the first day and I was able to get a loaner car at no cost to me. They kept me informed every day and gave me easy to understand options on fixing my problem. It's nice to find somebody that does things the old school way. AutoFix is a 5 star establishment. Branch Atkisson, the managing partner, delivers first class service and communication regarding the problems and potential solutions to repair the vehicle. I have been to two of the Jeep dealerships in the area and left each one with disappointment and distrust. AutoFix replaced my broken starter at a fair price, and reprogrammed the onboard computer to reset the 4 wheel drive at no additional cost. The dealer had insisted that the 4 wheel drive needed a new part at a cost of about $850. AutoFix is highly recommended. They are honest and reliable. Amazing. Very friendly, and helpful. My A/C broke down, and I was visiting from Chicago, IL. I took my car in, and they did visual inspection for free. They called me, and said that everything seems fine, but they have to hook it up to computer to check the compressor. The fee was $35 ( very reasonable). They called me later and told me that my compressor is dead, and it will be a big job. I said that I will just pick up my car, and fixed it back home. They were so nice, they even wave the $35 fee. They could off scam me and try to fix what's not even broken. read more

Great service, attention, was treated and talked to like I had some sense. (ladies you know what I mean), and did the work they said. Was given reccommondations for what was needed in the future. Took my car here because the check engine light was on and was greeted and helped promptly! He took codes from my car, determined that it may have been just a loose gas cap, reset my system so the light went away and sent me on my way all within about 10 minutes. No cost to me and he didn't try to con me into unnecessary repairs/money spending. And if any other problems came up, he let me know to call him and exactly how long my car would need to be in the shop.
