I have only had positive experiences here at Autohaus with every single car purchase. Although I've never consistently had the same salesperson over the years, this place is super friendly super kind. I am glad that they've definitely upgraded the customer waiting area as well over the years. I also like their selections of new and certified preowned. The place in general is always very clean which I appreciate, especially when there's cars around. While there are several choices of Mercedes-Benz dealerships all within striking distance of where I live. I would gladly come back here first before considering any other Mercedes-Benz sales dealerships. 5 Stars - Oleg Went Above and Beyond! I recently bought a Mercedes and--I'll admit it--I screwed up and ran out of gas just two weeks later. To make matters worse, I was flying out of the country that evening and couldn't get help anywhere. In a panic, I called Oleg, the sales rep who sold me the car. Without hesitation, he said, "Wait there 10 minutes--I'm coming." And he did. Part I: My husband had found me a few Audi's to look at. Since I was in the area of Northbrook on June 24, 2025 this would be a stop to look @ the Audi at this Mercedes dealership. Looked on lot and didn't see the Audi than came into the dealership ignored by several sales staff. Guess I should have dressed up instead of my workout shorts/clothing..lol. Dealt with a sales person by-Carlos Regalado, seemed polite at the time. He claimed that some guy was calling, emailing and wanting this Audi and that's why it was in the back furthering his conversation he claimed that this Audi was taken in by an older couple that resided in high rises in Highland Park in which Thais vehicle was garage kept and well maintained. That's not true either as the vehicle was purchased from a guy that lived in Chicago, not Highland Park. I have the paperwork with ownership history shows Chicago Illinois then Autohaus in Northbrook on June 13 offered for sale and supposedly serviced on June 19, 2025. All that they lied about. Carlos pulled the Audi around with the roof down. I drove it on side streets. Called my husband and informed that I am purchasing the car. We had already reviewed the carfax at home, wanted to see the inspection report, wasn't given it. Should have been a red flag. Carlos continued to speak about his wife and their years of age difference. Gross..keep it to yourself. Veteran military cop doesn't care nor want to hear it. I wanted to use my financing company not theirs, they ran my credit numerous times and of course I was displeased and informed him of same because I receive notifications on via phone. They ran my credit to look at my credit for their dealership which in my opinion its to be nosy and/or to ding credit. They used one of their two financing folks-which I can't stand either of those banks. I had other places to be in which they were told prior to purchase. They all were informed that they had two hours of my time and of course this dealership is a distance and rush hour traffic is another story. Should have been a simplistic transaction, nope there about four hours. Whatever, they were doing was causing me to be late elsewhere. The finance guy Alan is not to respectful to a woman or at least this woman. Anyhow, I I brought my own plate to transfer onto this vehicle however, I was still charge $151.00 dollars which should have been zero. When this was caught, it was promised to be corrected and a second contract was given to me days later as the vehicle was left with this dealership to do the oil change that I was told was already done. Upon arrival with my on June 26, 2025 my vehicle was pulled into one of the holding areas and was being shined up by a porter/cleaner and of importance the hood was never opened at anytime by me, the dealership, nor my husband before purchase or at any time. I finally was given the inspection report at the dealership and looked it over, mirrored up with what I saw inside vehicle and outside of vehicle. My wife has brought my car to Autohaus on Edens several times for service, and we have noticed a recurring and troubling pattern. Each visit, we are presented with a list of repairs labeled as "urgent" or "critical"--only to later find out from independent mechanics that many of these repairs are completely unnecessary. This isn't a one-off issue. It's happened multiple times, where items flagged as immediate concerns--such as newer tires, a suggested broken windshield wiper fluid system, etc.--were confirmed to be in good working order by trusted, certified professionals elsewhere. It feels less like a genuine diagnostic process and more like an attempt to upsell services I don't need. As a long-time Mercedes owner, I expect honesty and transparency from a dealership and the brand in general. Unfortunately, our experience here has left me questioning the integrity of their service department and why Mercedes would accept dealership behaviors like this. My boyfriend would love to sneak one but after this experience I quit. I was like just lets go. Salesman man was in the worst case scenario not interested. Before I begin, whoever is reading this, NEVER buy a maintenance package from a dealer, you save money by just paying for service as you go along. So, I walked into this place to get the old owners profile out of my car. Service staff was somewhat helpful but they took me to a sales rep who was able to take care of it. Now, this is the part where I was straight up lied to: I ask the sales rep about a service plan thinking it would save me money. He took me to the finance manager, Ricky Pena. When I told him which car I had and how many miles he right away started to show me the maintenence packages. So I'm thinking okay I'll go home and decide. At which point Ricky told me the differential fluid needed to be changed at 2k miles and it would be included. So I'm like okay I'll pay 1500 bux for the two year maintenance plan. As soon as I pay this guy, he was like yeah you MIGHT need to change the fluid. Really?? You sounded so confident before I gave you my money. Now you're saying I MIGHT need it? He walks me over to service and asks them if I need the fluid changed and service agrees with him without checking my vin or running a vehicle inquiry. I call back the next day and that same service rep tells me, "Oh you don't need the differential fluid changed until 20k miles." At which point I hung up, called back and tried to reach Ricky Pena, but no answer. Spoke to a sales rep and they told me my prepaid plan was non refundable. Straight up lied to me to get my money. Horrible business practice, and the fact that our family was about to purchase two cars from there that very same day scared me even more. Go to Knauz or Motorwerks in Barrington, they won't lie to you and backtrack on their words the second they get your money. Just had a miserable experience with service at Autohaus on Edens. After waiting almost a year for a replacement for a recalled fuel pump, the part finally arrived. When I scheduled my appointment, I was told to drop the car off at 8 am for what would be a 6 hour service appointment. Because I was assured the service would be completed the same business day, I declined a loaner. As soon as I walked in to drop the car off, the service representative advised there was a "50 car backup" in service and that they now needed several days to complete the recall repair - leaving me with no transportation. If there is a 50 car backup, why not call me to reschedule my appointment? He did not even offer a loaner vehicle. After expressing my frustration, I was told the car will be ready tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath. read more

I attended the Autohaus Mercedes LAUNCH fashion show which benefitted the Illinois Holocaust Museum yesterday evening. I won a pair of tickets from Yelp and brought my mom. It was a really fun event. A lot of press were there taking pictures so I may be in a local paper, who knows! My mom and I got polish changed and contouring/highlighting from red door spa. Appetizers & drinks from Morton Steak House. Who uses Kirkland for their "house" tequila, vodka and gin needs. They swore by it! There was a raffle, silent auction, a live auction, and vendors who donated 20% of sales. Then local boutiques showcased their spring lines. I loved it when the male boutiques had local business men from the community model! The other boutiques used professional female models. But the best part was the Columbia College student completion. There were 8 students who presented two looks. They were all winners in my book. So creative and fresh! So all in all, a really cool event that raises funds for a charity and allows an opportunity for students to showcase their work. read more

This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Not only would did they offer around 50% of fair value on my used car for trade-in value but they refused to hold a car for more than a day despite offering to pay over half down. The financing they offered was around 10% for 48 months maximum. Since they would not take a down payment, they kept the car on the market while I worked on outside financing, and sold the car the next day. Every step was unprofessional and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

First they didn't have the fluid, then they miraculously found it. 850.00 later, and after waiting all morning my car was finished. I wish I had used Yelp to learn more about this dealership before buying. My sales person, Phil, was aggressive. He would contact me first thing in the morning (and I'm 2 hours offset because of time zones). He had no issue calling and texting at 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning when he wanted to rush my deal before his month ended. When I wanted to pay for a vanity item a for the vehicle or more details on transport he rushed me off the line. I called the GM but that made little difference. When the car arrived it had 200 miles on it and electric message that the car had been in a collision. I reached out to Phil, the GM and the transport company. Neither Phil nor his manager bothered to respond to me. I had to reach out again. Phil (that guy who would call me multiple times a day when he wanted his FedEx papers) didn't even bother to call me. He blew me off in a short email telling me to take it to a local Mercedes dealer! Meanwhile, the transport company responded IMMEDIATELY, had the owner call me within minutes, showed concern, acknowledged any potential error on their end. I paid SIGNIFICANTLY less money on transport than I did on the C43, but got far better customer service. Mercedes North American will be informed. And I'm DONE with Mercedes. Porsche and BMW are two high-quality competitors. Why waste my time with this lack of professionalism when there are other options. I am a previous owner of 2 Mercedes Benz at this dealership and my experience was awesome. 2 weeks ago came looking for an used 2018 CLA250 with an offer from a different dealer. I met the salesperson who said that the car they had available was more expensive that my other quote because included 120 inspections points and a 5 years warranty. It made sense to me because those extended warranties are expensive. So I decided to purchase the car. They made me wait like 45 minutes before I met the financing guy. He asked me to sign all the paperwork on a tablet. When he gave me all printed paperwork I didn't see the breakdown of charges nor the State of Illinois Disclosure. I asked him for and them and he just handled me the State Disclosure. A week later I was looking into the paperwork for that breakdown but it wasn't there, I notice that my closing costs were more than $11,000 on a $31,000 car. I called the dealership Sales Director and left a message. The following day the financing guy called me and said that they were going to remove the Gap Insurance $3,000.00 with a Waiver that I needed to sign, but he couldn't do anything about the warranty so he will inform the Sales Director. Then the Sales Director called me trying to explain that the 5 years warranty started when they had the car for the first time in 2018 so my warranty will expire in May 2023, less than 2 years after purchase and a lot less than I was offered by the crooked salesperson. Is this an Autohaus On Eden's sales policy or they don't have control of their salesforce? Please don't trust them. I'm very unhappy and I know it was my fault for trusting them. I gave them 2 stars because the Sales Director acted promptly. read more

Ready to pay a premium $20,000 for AMG 63 wagon over sticker price and they sold the car to another buyer as we were filling out paperwork because the buyer test drove before us and sat there undecided for 30 min (unbeknownst to us debating to purchase the vehicle) even though we already agreed to purchase the car BEFORE them while they sat there!!! I own a 2021 GLE 450 and feel I have had more mileage on the loaners I have used than on my own car. The car is clearly defective and Autohaus' ability to repair it is non existent. Mercedes telephone support is missing in action. It is a shock to me that bad manufacturing, awful software and terrible customer support is now part of Mercedes heritage. Autohaus does not step up to the plate to help. You are on your own. The staff is friendly on a personal level and not allowed to be helpful on a professional level. My family's relationship with Autohaus goes back to 1998 when my mother leased a 1998 ML320, the debut model year for the M-Class. Since then, we have leased another vehicle through Autohaus and have brought in four Mercedes-Benzes for service at Autohaus. When it was established that I was going to need to retire my daily driver, a 2011 R350 BlueTEC that I loved, Autohaus was the natural place to turn to. I had initially inquired about the 2018 E400 wagon when I first started shopping in late 2018. At that point, I was still somewhat in denial about my car. When I arrived, I was introduced to Nick Maniatis, who allowed me a test drive in one of the wagons that they had in stock. He was very knowledgeable about the features of the 2018 E-Class, and he was upfront with me about the fact that E-Class wagons do not lease well--and I would learn from the experts that this is true. I returned to my state of denial until the spring of 2019, when my car became un-drivable and disabled in my garage. Nick had had it appraised by their team just days before it became completely disabled. I was at a loss for what to do because I believed that the car's value would plummet due to the faulty suspension. Some events ensued that led to the vehicle going to Autohaus' service department (I have added a review to that page as well). Nick met with my father and I one weekend to look at the GLC, which was one of the options that I was most strongly considering, as it was a Mercedes product that leased well and met most of my needs. He thoughtfully explained all of the features and options available in the GLC 300. In the end, I was lukewarm on the GLC 300, because of its infotainment shortcomings (These have been resolved by the introduction of the MBUX system in the 2020 GLC, but that was not available in May 2019 when I was shopping). I was also interested in the incoming 2020 GLE, but in May I would have had to wait at least four months, and with a disabled daily driver, that was untenable. I eventually decided that I wanted to go with either the GLC 300 or AMG GLE 43 Coupe. Unfortunately, we were not able to reach a deal because of Autohaus' meager trade-in offer. Their offer was less than half that of Mercedes-Benz of St. Charles, Mercedes-Benz of Naperville, CarMax, The Exchange Audi, McGrath Audi Morton Grove, Audi Hoffman Estates, Audi Westmont, and Imperial Jaguar. It was the very lowest out of all dealerships--all of them. Autohaus' trade-in value would have left me with too much negative equity to roll over, and rolling over the negative equity was convenient for me. With some unique conquest incentives, some hard negotiation, and a fair trade-in value, I was able to obtain an excellent deal on an Audi that I do love. I was raised to love Mercedes-Benz--and that I do. There are still two in my garage, but finances and inventory did not conspire in their favor. I have relationships with every Mercedes-Benz dealership in the Chicagoland area. Autohaus is a small Mercedes-Benz dealership--one of the smallest in the area. Even though its facilities may lack the glitz of Fletcher Jones or Motor Werks, and though their inventory may be limited, Autohaus makes up for those shortcomings with customer service. Every individual I have had the pleasure of interacting with at Autohaus has been polite, professional, and helpful--from service to sales to auto body. While they are not perfect, and I was disappointed that we were not able to reach a deal on a new Mercedes-Benz most recently, they are never adversarial. I encourage you to allow them an opportunity to service or repair your Mercedes, or to sell you your next Mercedes (or your first). I highly recommend Nick Maniatis. He's the consummate professional. He's a patient and honest representative, a true ambassador for the brand. But, man, that low-ball trade-in value scuttled any hopes for a deal. Nevertheless, we will be back soon. read more

This review is being written when vehicles are in short supply or impossible to get due to the semiconductor shortage. I called my salesman, Michal Regulski, who worked his magic, and found us a vehicle by virtue of a complicated dealer trade. Autohaus management should be credited with an assist on the trade. We have previously dealt with Michal, and found him to be honest, product-knowledgeable, patient, and personable. As my father would have said, "he is good people". Took in our E 450 for a recall and Tom with the service staff was nothing short of amazing and professional, wasn't trying to oversell or over complicate the process and got me out of there within a reasonable amount of time. We had to come back and meet with Cindy to get our MercedesMe app connected to the car. She was incredibly nice and helpful and made sure we understood how everything works. Lastly, our experience with Mercedes and this dealership has been so good, we ordered a GLE from Mr. Tony Patel who was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and patient as we mulled over our decisions. He made sure we got to experience both the 350 and 450, and took the time to review other models with us that had the features we were looking for to help us ensure we were getting the options we wanted. I've read the reviews from other customers, which only makes me even more grateful to have now had three great experiences here at this dealership. The first being with Roosevelt in sales and twice with Ed in service. Of course, I've had interactions with others as well. I don't have all their names, but they were all very helpful as well whether it's from showing me how to use some of my vehicles features to greeting me and asking me about my service issue before handing me off to Ed. The only reason I would give them 4 stars would be because of the waiting room experience. Regardless of the "end" of vehicle brand, I've just had a much better feeling of satisfaction at other dealers such as Fields BMW and Jennings Chevrolet. I was very excited to select a new Mercedes and Autohaus offered the best price. After I had agreed on the price, the experience turned horrible. During the week while waiting for the car to be delivered, the salesperson was either non responsive or provided wrong information. I was interested in the extended warranty and the zero percent financing and every day I was supposed to get a call from the finance manager. After four business days, I finally called him and he knew nothing about my deal! Once that got straightened out and my car was delivered, the salesperson didn't know how to program the garage door and was supposed to let me know. He never did! Also, I was supposed to get the Mercedes me apt and the sales person was supposed to activate, which he didn't do. After repeated emails and calls, I finally called Mercedes Corporate and they did it. What should have been a great experience turned into a frustrating, disappointing and negative experience. I dropped of my car for replacing the breaks and doing service A, They gave me a courtesy car to use it while they are working on my car which is nice, then after 2 hours I had a flat tire and couldn't drive it anymore . Bought a $73k car from them 3 weeks ago. I was going down my street that has no potholes or debris at 18 mph and not only got a flat tire but it also ripped off the liner in the wheel well. They charged me $1,000 to have this fixed. Its crazy that they charge such high prices for garbage quality. If you build a car that has tires that go flat for seemingly no reason at least engineer a liner that can withstand the flat at 18 mph. My expection was the services group would cover the cost of liner since this is clearly unacceptable on a 3 week old car but that was definitely not the case. Would never recommend Autohaus on Edens. This review is based on their service department. Brought my Mercedes in for a keyless ignition update. When I picked my car up I was not able to adjust the drivers seat. Whoever worked on my car had moved the seat back. Mercedes gave me a loaner car while they tried to fix the problem which they caused. They kept my car for more than a week. No one was able to figure out the problem. So, they ordered a new electronic seat module. I never had a problem adjusting the seat before bringing the car in for service. Autohaus had the nerve to charge me $799.00 for a problem that I did not create. Beware of this business. My friends who have used this dealership for repairs have had similar experiences. read more
