    Stay away from this dealership unless you're looking for a lemon car!!!! Absolutely the worst nightmare of an experience- I regret the minute I stepped foot and leased a vehicle. Stay away from this dealership!!! Malfunctioning defective disfunctional car. The breaks gave out on a brand new car after the dealership sold us a car that had rusted front & rear brakes which they finally got replaced after weeks of frustration and then BREAKS GAVE OUT while I was driving. They don't adhere to the lemon law! Worst experience ever.

    Part I: My husband had found me a few Audi's to look at. Since I was in the area of Northbrook on June 24, 2025 this would be a stop to look @ the Audi at this Mercedes dealership. Looked on lot and didn't see the Audi than came into the dealership ignored by several sales staff. Guess I should have dressed up instead of my workout shorts/clothing..lol. Dealt with a sales person by-Carlos Regalado, seemed polite at the time. He claimed that some guy was calling, emailing and wanting this Audi and that's why it was in the back furthering his conversation he claimed that this Audi was taken in by an older couple that resided in high rises in Highland Park in which Thais vehicle was garage kept and well maintained. That's not true either as the vehicle was purchased from a guy that lived in Chicago, not Highland Park. I have the paperwork with ownership history shows Chicago Illinois then Autohaus in Northbrook on June 13 offered for sale and supposedly serviced on June 19, 2025. All that they lied about. Carlos pulled the Audi around with the roof down. I drove it on side streets. Called my husband and informed that I am purchasing the car. We had already reviewed the carfax at home, wanted to see the inspection report, wasn't given it. Should have been a red flag. Carlos continued to speak about his wife and their years of age difference. Gross..keep it to yourself. Veteran military cop doesn't care nor want to hear it. I wanted to use my financing company not theirs, they ran my credit numerous times and of course I was displeased and informed him of same because I receive notifications on via phone. They ran my credit to look at my credit for their dealership which in my opinion its to be nosy and/or to ding credit. They used one of their two financing folks-which I can't stand either of those banks. I had other places to be in which they were told prior to purchase. They all were informed that they had two hours of my time and of course this dealership is a distance and rush hour traffic is another story. Should have been a simplistic transaction, nope there about four hours. Whatever, they were doing was causing me to be late elsewhere. The finance guy Alan is not to respectful to a woman or at least this woman. Anyhow, I I brought my own plate to transfer onto this vehicle however, I was still charge $151.00 dollars which should have been zero. When this was caught, it was promised to be corrected and a second contract was given to me days later as the vehicle was left with this dealership to do the oil change that I was told was already done. Upon arrival with my on June 26, 2025 my vehicle was pulled into one of the holding areas and was being shined up by a porter/cleaner and of importance the hood was never opened at anytime by me, the dealership, nor my husband before purchase or at any time. I finally was given the inspection report at the dealership and looked it over, mirrored up with what I saw inside vehicle and outside of vehicle.     I can not write about experience bc that wasn't experience at all. What happened to sales? What happened to salesmans?? We had a test drive for S class. Car alone was amazing. My boyfriend would love to sneak one but after this experience I quit. I was like just lets go. Salesman man was in the worst case scenario not interested. I felt like I need to run after him to sell us a car. I mean it is over 100k car so I don't know what whas the problem. Well anyway, we solved that problem down the street with Porsche guys. Learn from them boys that is all I can say. ;)

    I attended the Autohaus Mercedes LAUNCH fashion show which benefitted the Illinois Holocaust Museum yesterday evening. I won a pair of tickets from Yelp and brought my mom. It was a really fun event. A lot of press were there taking pictures so I may be in a local paper, who knows! My mom and I got polish changed and contouring/highlighting from red door spa. Appetizers & drinks from Morton Steak House. Who uses Kirkland for their "house" tequila, vodka and gin needs. They swore by it! There was a raffle, silent auction, a live auction, and vendors who donated 20% of sales. Then local boutiques showcased their spring lines. I loved it when the male boutiques had local business men from the community model! The other boutiques used professional female models. But the best part was the Columbia College student completion. There were 8 students who presented two looks. They were all winners in my book. So creative and fresh! So all in all, a really cool event that raises funds for a charity and allows an opportunity for students to showcase their work.

    I waited 2 hours to have my car serviced (oil change & cleaned) when they said it would take an hour or max 1 1/2. Then pulled the car around soaking wet!!! Didn't even dry it at allllll after cleaning it. It's November now my cate is going to have water stains abs look dirty. SMH. Made me wait longer to do a half ass job. They also didn't even clean the inside of the car

    I've been a customer of Autohaus for the past 3 or so years (back when I purchased my MERCEDES AMG C43). The sales staff are amazing. The service staff is another story. They're a bunch of schmucks that can't tell the difference between a leased vehicle warranty and a financed vehicle warranty. DO NOT TAKE YOUR MERCEDES TO GET SERVICED HERE! INSTEAD I RECOMMEND Loeber or Downtown Chicago for your servicing needs.

Another issue it had was the AC motor needed to be replaced because it was very loud. I took the car to Audi and they did an inspection and told me these issues/failures/faults have been there for a while so its obvious that Ultimo Motors never serviced the car but instead tried to hide all of these issues. When I first went to see the car a few months ago Ben pulled it out and parked it, by the time I walked out there, the trunk was already open, the ac was on full blast so I am assuming that these were known issues and if I didnt notice the trunk drop as it opens I wouldnt have asked any questions. Also since the ac was on full blast, we couldnt hear the faulty motor. I even purchased the extended warranty for $5500 and the finance person told me that it starts the day of purchase so when i told him about the issues i was having, he told me to take it to Audi for diagnostics and repair. Whe I took the car to Audi to get those issues repaired less than a month after i bought it, the warranty repair was rejected stating that there is a 45 day elimination period wjere the deslership would be responsible for any issues within the first 45 days! Ben stopped responding to all my emails and texts, but when i called the office line he answered and said hed let his manager know about this and that hed give me a call back. I never heard back from him, so I started reaching out the manager myself and tried to get them to pay for the repairs which amounted to about $2600 at the time for the ac motor, and door latch replacements. The manager offered $400 at first but after multiple emails he agreed to send me a check for $1000, even though this should have all been covered by them. DO NOT BUY from this unethical dealership. Worst experience of my life!

This was three years ago and engine is running perfect and have engaged the four wheel drive numerous times with zero issues. Fast forward to last month, Jeep needed suspension work (indicator light) addressed. Three mechanics all said that I needed to take it to dealership. All I could think of when each said this, don't trust Fields. Finally found a mechanic that fixed it. Happily paid him $4K as I knew he would not try to make a fast buck and was honest with me.Trust matters in any transaction not dollars. It's been 6 months since I purchased from here and I continue to love my new ride! Nate guided me, step by step, throughout the entire process. He listened to what I wanted and respected it. He was not pushy and didn't try to upsell me on anything. He is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. As everyone knows, purchasing a car takes some time. Nate checked in on me even while I was talking with other departments (finance, IT, etc). At one point he got me food from the food court to make sure I wasn't getting hangry, haha. He thoroughly explained the process of borrowing a car and also offered to show me the features of the car since I was not familiar with driving a Lexus previously. He's very friendly and kind! During my 6 month service I had Marvin as my service advisor. The process was easy and quick. I opted to grab food from their cafeteria and he found me once my car was done being serviced. Throughout my apportionment I was receiving text msgs and videos of the status of my car. I found that to be very helpful. Car buying can be challenging but Carlos and Nate really made this process easy and enjoyable for me. I'm extremely happy with my decision on joining the Lexus family!

I purchased a brand-new 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ from this dealership, and it has been an absolute nightmare from the beginning. Since November 2025, the vehicle has suffered the same high-voltage failure FOUR different times. The first time, it left my family stranded in Indiana during Thanksgiving in below-zero temperatures after the heat stopped working. Most recently, the vehicle completely shut down on the side of the road in 90+ degree weather with my young child in the car. The latest repair required replacing the entire high-voltage battery, yet Cadillac's response is for me to pick the vehicle up for a FIFTH time just to see if the problem happens again. At what point does customer safety become more important than continuing to experiment with a customer's vehicle? I've spent nearly three months without the vehicle while still making my monthly payments. I've lost confidence that this vehicle is safe or reliable, and despite four documented failures, I'm still fighting for Cadillac to do the right thing. This isn't what anyone expects when they spend well over $100,000 on a luxury vehicle. I expected exceptional customer service and a company that would stand behind its product. Instead, I've received repeated breakdowns, repeated repairs, and repeated excuses. If you're considering buying an EV from this dealership, I strongly encourage you to ask how they handle situations when a vehicle repeatedly experiences the same dangerous failure. Based on my experience, don't expect a timely resolution. I'm simply asking Cadillac to take responsibility for a vehicle that has repeatedly proven to be unsafe.

I ended up going to a few, including where I originally purchased my vehicle, but they all low-balled me. CarMax offered me the most, and I was pleasantly surprised at just how much they gave me. Not only was I happy with their $ offer, but their customer service was top-notch. What a well-oiled machine! Their purchasing process is very structured, and the staff member who helped me was efficient and kept me informed about what the steps were and how much more time it would take. I'm thinking I was in and out of there within an hour. I left VERY happy and highly recommend this location to everybody.

Sales side was solid: Tabitha communicated well (including a title delay), and when I came in, Dean and Christian had me in and out in under an hour. No complaints there. Service/conditioning was a miss. The car was handed over unclean dusty, no basic wipe-down, nothing. When I asked for it to be cleaned, it wasn't taken back for a proper wash/detail. Instead, a tech did a quick, partial wipe-down with a rag and sent me on my way. That felt careless and below dealership standards especially for a vehicle being delivered to a customer. I ended up paying out of pocket to get the car properly detailed elsewhere. Shout out to Detail Doctor!! Aldo! I'd still shop CarMax for the buying process, but this location needs to tighten up its service/conditioning before delivery. It's a basic expectation.
