Recently purchased a CPO vehicle from AutoNation Honda. Worked primarily with Christian H. from the Sales team. He was very communicative and available for any questions I had prior to physically visiting the dealership. Upon arrival, he had the vehicle ready to go for a test drive which was super helpful. Followed the typical buying conversations (Down payment, interest rates, finance, etc). Worked with Mario in Finance for the final stages of the purchase. In general the experience was solid, yet still pushy in some instances but that's expected in any dealer car purchase. The only feedback I could think of was focused on minimizing the time spent in the physical dealership. Especially after already deciding on the purchase and driving from 50+ miles away. Total time spent onsite was roughly 2.5 hours, which i thought was on the excessive side. Sitting at a dealer trying to decide on the price takes too much time and is way too stressful. I like the idea of keeping the sale local to where we live, but if it didn't make financial sense for us it wasn't a deal breaker - luckily we kept it local Many things have changed since buying a car 10 plus years ago . I should have asked a few more things up front to be better prepared - Honda had a loyalty offer - I didnt know we would need to bring in the registration I also feel like maybe the dealer could have let us know this before we came in - and also ask about trade ahead of time It still took about three hours to get out of there - much longer than I anticipated . Everyone was patient - we worked with Jake who is super nice and down to earth - so it wasn't hard A couple things were missed - when we test drove the car we ultimately purchased - it was still in shipping mode - that should have been dealt with right after we had driven it . It took over a week to decide to make the purchase - guess what - driving it home we discovered it was still in shipping mode - not cool - also the tire pressure sensor we had to bring it back the next morning to be dealt with but Jake handled everything The car and windows were also not washed well - and there was film build up that we ultimately had to deal with. It's still a huge investment even if you are getting a good deal. Dog friendly dealership! They always welcome my dog and everyone goes out of their way to give him some pets. This dealership is THE best in all of California! I drive over 1 hour from another city (where a Honda dealership is located) just to have my Honda Civic serviced at Valencia Honda. I even used to drive in from San Luis Obispo , that's how amazing this dealership is! You can tell everything about a dealership in how the employees act. I brought my vehicle to Honda multiple times for the exact same audio/infotainment issues, and the problem still hasn't been resolved. Each time I brought it in, I was told there were no loaner vehicles available, which made the repeated visits very inconvenient. Instead of properly diagnosing the issue, the technician simply reset the audio system. Now they're blaming my phone, claiming I have too many apps connected through Apple CarPlay and that I need to remove them. That explanation doesn't make sense, especially since I deleted the apps they told me to remove and the exact same problems continue. Rather than identifying and fixing the root cause, it feels like they're making excuses instead of standing behind their product. What a joke of a dealership. I had a feeling their Google rating was too good to be true, and unfortunately, I was right. 4.7 stars? Maybe on Google. Definitely not in real life. We came in seriously looking to buy a car. To be fair, our sales guy was actually very nice, helpful, and respectful. No issue with him at all. The problem started when it came time to talk numbers and he brought over his manager -- luckily for him, I forgot his name. The manager came over smiling, shaking hands, acting overly friendly, talking about what a wonderful day it was. Then the second we started discussing price, the whole act disappeared. We told him where we wanted to be, and instead of having a normal professional conversation, he immediately became condescending. He basically told us, "Yeah, we're not doing that," then launched into a lecture about how we don't understand car sales, how our number was impossible, how the value of the car justifies the price, and how MSRP was apparently the best they could do. Do you seriously think customers are born yesterday? I had already done my research before coming in. The price we asked for was completely reasonable, and clearly not impossible, because we ended up finding an even better deal somewhere else for less than what this dealership claimed could never happen. Instead of simply saying they couldn't meet our number, the manager kept going in circles, writing down random numbers, talking down to us, and making it seem like we were stupid for even asking. At one point he basically acted like any calculator would prove us wrong. The whole interaction felt belittling and unnecessary. Then, when we made it clear we weren't interested, he got up, didn't shake hands, and walked away like a child throwing a tantrum. That's your professionalism? If you're a sales manager, learn how to speak to people without being arrogant, rude, and emotionally immature. There is a way to say no without making customers feel small. Wanted to update my review. I contacted service department and went back. The person who helped me was friendly and understanding (I forgot his name, sorry). They were able to replace the condenser, like they were supposed to the first time and showed me photos of black spots on evaporator, which supposed to indicate a leak. They did not fill up the condenser with freon for some weird, allegedly environmental, reason. So, it's impossible to know if there's a real leak in the evaporator or some tiny microscopic one. I was basically told that reason and that they can't guarantee if it's gonna work... I feel like it should be up to me. I went to a different shop and had to pay for freon... and it's been some time now and it's still cold as ice... So, I'm glad that they replaced the condenser, but why they couldn't fill it up with freon I don't know. Their excuse didn't make sense. Took my 2011 Civic CNG in after 2 years without service. Not surprisingly, needed a lot of work. Took a few days, but seems to have been expertly done. My service rep Santos did a nice job of keeping me posted, and appreciated the videos the service technician sent showing the work that was needed. My only issue is their reservation process. Made a reservation for 11 am, and when I showed up...10 cars were lined up in front of me. I turned around and left. Called back in, and made another for 2:20 pm. Was lucky this time...only 2 other cars ahead of me. I picked my car up when they opened on a Saturday morning...once again 10+ cars lined up ahead of the 8 am opening. Begs the question...what good is a reservation. Why bother to make one? They are either over booking the reservations, or customers who just show up without one get treated exactly the same those who bother to get one. Doesn't make sense. Extremely poor service and a complete waste of time. I arrived at 10:48 AM for my 11:00 AM appointment and was left standing there for 15-20 minutes with no acknowledgment. Multiple staff members saw me and chose to ignore me instead of checking me in. That is unacceptable for a scheduled appointment. When I finally spoke to a service advisor, I was told the oil change would take about 2 hours. Then I was told to "come back before 2 PM," which made no sense and showed a complete lack of clear communication. On top of that, I was charged $89.99 for a basic oil change plus an additional 2% fee just for using a card. Other Honda service centers charge significantly less and don't add extra fees like this. Between the long wait just to check in, the disorganized process, unclear communication, and higher-than-normal pricing, this was one of the worst service experiences I've had. I used to come here for service for the last few years. Everything was always great until May 18,2026 when I had an oil change and tire rotation done on an Acura TLX 2020. Juan Espinoza, the service advisor told me the coolant reservoir tank is completely missing. I took my car to multiple mechanics after this and they said it looks like the coolant reservoir tank was removed professionally and never put back on. AutoNation Honda is the only place that services my car. Jason, the manager look up all the service records and came to the conclusion that the coolant reservoir tank was probably stolen recently. This is unacceptable, immoral, irrational, and unethical for someone to do this. I've been a good customer here until this happened. There's no way a coolant reservoir tank magically disappears. Wouldn't make sense unless someone physically removed it. This is the only place I service my car and now I cannot trust them anymore because of this. What a shame. They were good until this happened. Now, I realized this is why dealerships get a bad reputation. Weird because they were good before but after this recent visit, the coolant reservoir tank is stolen and magically disappeared. I am shocked someone actually decided to steal such a part. The service advisor, Juan tried to quote me $600 for this missing coolant reservoir tank. Then tried to bring it down to $500 with a discount. He even said I have to order the part with the bolts too. He's horrible as a service advisor. Nobody says to order the part. The service advisor always orders the part. It's already bad enough this scum bag quoted me $500-$600 for a missing coolant reservoir part. I'm not dumb, Juan. That's bull$hit. It isn't even a repair. AutoNation Honda is refusing to take responsibility for this. Because of this, I will be going to an independent mechanic who is honest, reliable, and more fair. He only charged me $35-$40 to replace/install the coolant reservoir tank that is completely missing that AutoNation Honda most likely took. This place changed and I am no longer coming back. That's the rubber gasket lining between the window and the door. It's a super easy job that even I could do but it would probably take them perhaps 10-15 minutes. Maybe less. I called Pasadena Honda and they quoted me $120 total, which is their minimum. This is why dealers get a bad rep. Update: I got it done at Kiwi Honda in Newhall for a negligent amount. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE I was quoted $850 to change an axle seal on my 2024 Type R, which had zero issues before getting the steering recall taken care of at this dealership. Within 200 miles of the steering recall being completed, the car is covered on the underside of fluid coming from the transmission. Coincidence? Oh well, they then say its not covered under warranty and it will be $850. My service advisor Phil says they will clean up any oil from the underside of the car and replace the part in a couple hours. car wasn't ready till the next day (No big deal to me) but after over 24 hours in their possession, the car came back with 12 miles added to it and the underside is still covered in fluid. The part was $63 and $800 for the labor. The labor was not even completed to what the advisor stated, and I cannot even check to see if they did the service correctly or even at all since its covered in fluid still. When I brought this up they just said "oh ill let someone know" It wasn't until I got home and moved back the passenger seat did I discover cigarette ash and spit out sunflower seeds. I was out here for a photo shoot and my battery was smoking and giving off a weird smell like it was rotten eggs; quickly looked up the problem and thankfully my battery was still under warranty when I bought it at honda dealership there. I got a copy of my receipt to show them here, I was able to get it replaced before closing time. Thankfully someone was still working: Shout to Curtis in service for helping me out because there was no way I would have driven back home with my battery smelling and stinking like that. I would have slept in my car if it came down to it. But all good now. read more

Unfortunately, this is the closest location to me so I take my car here for service. Seems like every time I take my car here, the service gets worse and worse. Additionally, the guy in the parts department always seems have an attitude and he's rude. When I asked to speak to the manager, he was even worse. Just goes to show how this place is managed. It's clear that they don't respect their customers considering I spend a lot of money to get my car serviced here. I get better service from a 18 year old kid at a fast food restaurant. At this point, I'll drive the extra 30 minutes just to not have to deal with this place and their staff. Never again! read more

Brought a vehicle here for a fuel pump recall. Next thing you know the check engine light comes on. Took the vehicle to a different mechanic who showed me how a hose in the engine bay was deliberately sliced open. He was willing to replace for free. This Honda dealership is shady. They will cause more issues so you take your vehicle back to them and end up paying even more. Do NOT go here. read more

Brought my car in for one problem and somehow drove away with three new ones. Impressive, honestly. When I picked it up, there was a loud rattling sound that definitely wasn't there before so I turned right back around. When I asked what happened, I got the same answers on repeat: "Don't worry, it's covered under warranty," or "That's a good question." No actual explanation, no accountability just vague reassurance and condescension. To make it worse, they talked to me like I wouldn't understand anything about my own car. It was obvious they were dumbing things down, and I left feeling completely dismissed and looked down on as a woman. I've never felt so mistreated at a service center. They only fixed the rattling after my dad literally told the mechanic what was wrong with it. So apparently, you have to bring a man with you if you want to be taken seriously here. I later took it to a different Honda dealership, and they confirmed my car was totally fine. So thanks for the wasted time, frustration, and the extra noise you created for me. If you enjoy being talked down to and gaslit about your own car, this is definitely the place. read more
