Strap in, this is gonna be long but worth the read if you don't wanna waste your time and most importantly, your money. I heard about this place through mutual friends and being in the market for a new vehicle for myself and 3 kids, started looking here first. They had exactly what we needed and at a great price online. I did an inquiry and Joshua Tran reached out on a Thursday. We settled on me coming in that upcoming Monday to test drive and pursue financing. He has great customer service and even confirmed on Saturday with me. Monday comes and I even leave work early because we all know it takes hours to purchase a vehicle. We are 10 minutes away from the dealership and he calls me to let me know that the vehicle was recently brought to their dealership, even though it had been on the website on Thursday, and wasn't prepared for a test drive. At this point, we were almost there and I don't get a lot of time off so we decided to go and at least view the car. Long story short, we see the car and visually it looks great besides needed a clean on the inside and he claims they do an extensive inspection on the car before I would leave with it so we proceed with the deal. Obviously, this is my mistake for deciding to purchase a car without test driving but again, on GOOGLE they have great reviews. Fast forward, the deal is going great, it's not taking too long to get everything signed and explained. Here comes Jay; mind you I later found out their reviews on Apple Maps are not great and go in great detail about Jay. He's the fast talking finance guy who seems so bothered if you even ask him the slightest question. So I technically bought the car Monday, wasn't able to pick it up until Thursday of that week due to it having to be detailed and thoroughly inspected, or so I thought. For accuracy, I picked the car up February 28th. Everything is going great, it's driving great and no issues besides it might need an oil change? Fast forward to March 14th, I drive to Durham and back in the same day which is the furthest I go within 30 days of having the car. As soon as I get back to Charlotte I notice one of my rears tires do not look good, I could see wire almost on of them. I take a picture and send it to Josh as I'm almost certain the car would have new tires on it before they would sell it right? He says the service department won't be open until Monday as it is Friday evening. I could tell they wouldn't last until then but here's to hoping. I drove the next day only 20 minutes from our house and by that evening one of my back tires blew. This was Saturday. Sunday I went and bought two used tires for the rear so I could at least make it to the weekday and go to the dealership. The weekday comes and I have work of course so I try reaching out to them on the phone specifically asking for Colin, the general manager. I really just wanted to see if I could be reimbursed because I don't feel it's reasonable I have to buy tires for a car I just purchased. I called him Tuesday and left a message with his team and no call back, I did the same thing Wednesday and Thursday morning. At this point I'm furious because I'm a new customer and clearly he is not too concerned to help rectify what I feel is a small issue. As mentioned before, I have 3 kids and I just bought a new car so it's not like we have money to throw around. Independence is about 30 minutes from our house and between work and school schedules, I didn't have time to make it there when I wanted. However, on Thursday after trying to call again, later that day I went to a third party auto place for a wheel alignment because it was mentioned I needed one when the tires were put on. The guy there then let me know that they couldn't even do it because the tire well was bent, suspension on the car was crooked and the bottom of the car was entirely rusted out. These fixes would cost me in upwards of $3000.

AutoNation USA Charlotte and Corporate Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida are shisters- good old fashion crooks. I bought this car on Friday, July 28th and returned on Monday, Aught 1st. Two weeks later and I have yet to receive a check for the amount of purchase. Sales Managers Sterling, Andy, and GM Colin Rundell have giving me the runaround for the last two weeks. I was told the check would be at the bank by Monday, August 14th. GUESS WHAT - NO CHECK. Corporate accounts receivable department shows no activity. The company will not provide me with information on the check, tracking number, etc THEY HAVE ALSO PUT THIS CAR BACK ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR FOR SALES. THIS COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY!!! Corporate is worse! They refuse to help or have given me any solution on what I need to do. Complaints made to corporate and corporate has yet to reach out. You call both corporate and local office they transfer you to voicemail. I should have read the reviews before making a purchase with this company. So now I'm sharing my experience with social media, a lawyer, and soon action 9 news. Maybe now they will do something.

They wouldn't even look without me giving a phone number -- just so they could bother and harass me later. Said the "system" wouldn't let them do anything and the sales manager gave a massive fib about needing to be able to get in touch with me if any paperwork needed changes after the fact. If they screw up that frequently on paperwork, imagine all of the other things they don't get right.

Upon arrival, there were multiple scratches and dents around the vehicle, both passenger-side doors, rear rim, and including additional scratches the other side of the car and back. These additional scratches were not disclosed, and the salesman's message absolutely downplayed the damage. After the team tried fixing it, some scratches and the dents were still clearly visible. Carmax wouldn't adjust the price despite the new (unrepaired) damage. I don't think they're going to update the listings pictures, and I feel like there was prior undisclosed damage to the car. If you're looking to purchase a car from here, be extremely careful that you're not getting played.

All I have to say is "wow." I'm typically a very weary customer when buying a car anywhere,…read moreespecially one out of state. I have to say that every single person at Hi-Line went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I flew into town from Florida the day after I found the car online and spoke to the guys Over the phone about it. I just had that feeling that this was where I was going to be able to trust the process. The moment I pulled up in my Uber, my salesman, Neil Skipwith, was waiting on me at the door with an umbrella. I had just flown in in the middle of a tropical storm and the weather was not playing nice. Neil was noticeably grateful and relieved to see me and immediately came to usher me in the door. The whole office was all but cheering that I had made it safely through the storm. Neil and the financial man (pardon me, I just can't remember his name and he was so amazing! I think he might have been top management, maybe even owner?) already had everything laying out for me and ready to go. All that was left to do was look at the car. They brought me a soda (or two) and conversed with me while we waited in between steps. Neil and I took the test drive together (where he proceeded to open every door, hood, nick and cranny for me to inspect) and sat in the backseat for social distancing purposes. We went on a longer test drive than I have ever been offered before. Every question I had, he had an answer or went out of his way to find out for me. We wired the funds to the dealership to pay and the man I mentioned previously continued to check the bank statements periodically and updated me as soon as the funds had cleared. Neil knew I would be driving back to Florida in the storm and offered a free night's stay at the Hilton downtown if I felt it wasn't safe enough to leave or if I simply felt uncomfortable doing so. I declined as I wanted to make it halfway before stopping, but Neil then went out of his way to fill my gas tank up. Every single person in this dealership went above and beyond- even the guys/ girls that were not working directly with me checked on me periodically. I was in and out with my new car in less than 3 hours. I have since driven it all the way back to Florida and I have to say this car is INCREDIBLE! Impeccably maintained. I can't think Hi-lIne auto or Neil (or financial man) enough for this great experience. Ps: forgot to mention, I even overheard Neil talking with someone about the fact that he was actually not even supposed to be working that day but he came in to finish the deal and stayed beyond the time that he was needed in order to see me off. PPS: The guys made me promise to let them know I had made it safely and I had forgotten until now. Checked my email and there's Neil, making sure I was safe!! Don't go anywhere else. This place is THE place to buy a car.

I was disappointed with my experience. The repair estimate differed significantly from what 2 other…read moreshops had identified, so I chose not to move forward. That alone wasn't the issue. What concerned me was the inconsistency in customer service. I was told transportation would be available when I dropped my vehicle off, but after declining the repairs, I was informed a ride back was no longer an option. I value honesty, consistency, and professionalism regardless of whether I authorize work. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience
