Took my 2020 GLI to John to get springs I purchased from APR installed as well as have an alignment done... I got 2 quotes from other shops that were $120 and $230 more than what this place quoted. The techs were really professional and polite, the young lady at the front was also very nice and the owner is very outgoing, I saw as he would talk enthusiastically to people bringing in their modified cars. I had a bad experience here. I came in for a specific service, I just needed oil added to my vehicle. Since I was there I decided to ask for an add on to replace my daylight. I was told both services would take 30 minutes. It took almost 1 and a half hours. As I drove off my oil light came on, so I re-looked at the service order and only my lights had been replaced. The original request for oil add wasn't done. The customer service when I complained about the wrong order was that I had declined the service?! Which made no sense since the only service I really needed was the oil add, so I was over-charged and over paid for a service I didn't need and still need the original service. Needless to say, I took my vehicle elsewhere for the oil add. I'm disappointed and a very dissatisfied customer. Why don't you just go online yourself? The alignments seem legit, however. John's the type of guy to prey on noobs. When I first turned 18, he charged me a grip for an install I now know could be done for extra cheap. He knew I was a young noob barely getting into the "import scene" and he took my money. It was also a crappy job. I was watching him the whole time. He was talking on his cellphone while putting on the part. I guess that's why the screws were on crooked. This guy called John (the owner). I called him to check the prices for the springs on my TOYOTA Camry. He advised to come into the store so he can go through the quote and guide me on what's best for my car. I went to the store, he attended me and told me to wait and he will be back. I went in for fender rolling, alignment and installation of some wide Work Wheels. I was kind of scared of the fender rolling because I didn't want it to be too extreme to start chipping paint but they did an EXCELLENT job in making some wide 18x10 work meister m1 piece wheels fit. No Chipping at all. They did it the professional way in using an actual fender roller, heat and rolling in a slow and meticulous process. I'm glad they took their time and most of the day to do this. The alignment was spot on to what I wanted (street style specs...i.e. low negative camber/longer tire life) These guys know modified cars and the love the owners have for them. read more

Not ASE certified beware! I called the shop to ask if they are ASE certified and the boss who I talked to don't even know what ASE is. He told me that I must be talking about CARB and he specifically asked what part of the car I am talking about. It is not a part of a car, it is the mechanic who supposedly be ASE certified. We all know that you will void your car's warranty if you do modification on it, unless if that shop is ASE certified and you have oem upgrade for your car. I wasn't gonna make a big deal about this but the way the "boss" handled the call is very poor. He basically told me I do not know what I am talking about. The level of arrogance is unacceptable. Do not even bother coming to this shop. Ill post ASE certification logo so that at least the "boss" knows what it is. read more

Complete garbage. Took my Miata here because they have an alignment rack for very low cars. Was told that the "whole process" would take about an hour. Ended up waiting 40 minutes for the workers to finish their lunch and another 20 for them to actually work on the car. When I finally got my alignment numbers the only adjustments they had touched were for the toe. They didn't even attempt to adjust the camber or caster, all of which are 100% adjustable on my car from the factory. When I asked the owner John, he told me that I would need to buy extra aftermarket parts in order for them to make more adjustments. I checked on ClubRoadster after the fact -- AND THIS IS NOT TRUE. I was also told that it would be an extra $100 for them to install my aftermarket outer tie rod ends during the alignment; A process that would only require them to remove 2 extra nuts since the tie rod ends have to be loosened and adjusted during an alignment anyway. SCAM. Brought the car back a week later because it was pulling left and was told that it was the "crown" in the road and that on his test drive their tech found nothing wrong. I was also told that they would "make some adjustments" to try to fix it anyway. When I was handed a new alignment sheet I realized that they didn't adjust anything, all the numbers were exactly the same as last time I had the car in. I still don't know if the tech didn't know how to adjust the camber and caster on my car or was just lazy. Ended up wasting $60, plus gas to Stockton twice, plus 2 hours of my life and my car still doesn't drive straight! All I got was a shitty AutoSport209 license plate frame. This shop overcharges for idiots who don't know how to do their own installs and sells mostly ebay replica parts. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. read more

After that I went to go check the quality of job and it wasn't even good compared to the other fender. Asked them if they flatten it out more. These guys are legit. I came to them after having terrible service at another alignment place and the guys at Autosport took me right in and fixed everything that was wrong. They went over step by step what they were going to do and after they fixed my issues caused by the last alignment shop they gave me recommendations on parts needed to keep my car running smooth (since I'm low and pretty much on stock suspension except for BC Coils).
