Shopped here for years. Today, I purchased new windshield wipers and batteries for my key fobs. The cashier (didn't catch his name, maybe Jessie) was welcoming, professional, and kind. He changed out my batteries while I looked for new wipers. Went home to swap out wipers, but only could get the D- side to attach. Returned to the store to exchange for a new P-side one, but they didn't have another in that size and brand. Bought a different brand. Attached no problem. Had to leave for an appt. Later into the evening, I returned to see if I could exchange out the D-side (already on car), so they would be the same brand and style. Steven swapped out the D-side and attached the new one. Was at the Gold's Gym next door and decided to stop in to get some tire dressing on my way home. Found what I was looking for and the store appeared to be clean and well stocked. Another customer was ahead of me and it didn't really take much time to conduct the transaction. Cashier was friendly but there was a handful of employees standing around talking to the cashier about karate and some other sport as he was conducting my transaction. Of course, these employees appeared to be rather young, perhaps early 20's but I felt it was pretty unprofessional of them. Fiancé bought a car battery here and they couldn't change her car battery due to being short staffed. Very disappointed and frustrated especially since the car is Toyota Camry. Every single time I come here, I always receive excellent customer service and all my problems are always fixed. In the past, whether I was in Barstow, CA, Orange, CA, or Las Vegas, NV, the team members at Auto Zone were always friendly and helpful. However, I can't say that the team members at the Auto Zone in Anaheim, CA (Katella at Euclid) were as helpful or polite. They made my request to charge my cellphone seem like this great inconvenience. This was never a problem at the previously mentioned Auto Zone locations. I was due for an oil change and was in the store to buy an oil filter and synthetic oil. I opted to not make the purchase because the female manager who I'd interacted with was not cordial or welcoming. Yes, not allowing me to charge my phone was a deciding factor; other Auto Zone locations honored the request when I indicated that I was far from home and on the road. This particular manager was inflexible and lacked the ability to empathize with a client/customer. I just think that meeting someone halfway or offering a concession are excellent tools for guest recovery. Some people understand it, but some can't figure it out. read more

I'd rather give no stars. I came in because both my headlights are out and changing the bulbs didn't help. I knew I needed a relay. I asked if someone could help me to make sure it was in fact was needed and the cashier said no. That isn't why I'm giving one star. If they can't touch a customers vehicle, that's fine. But she was very rude and acted like I asked her to repair my car herself. She looked up what I assumed was the correct relay. She sold me the wrong relay so now I'll need to go back out to return this one and buy a new one. I definitely won't be back. read more

I went in today 12/10/2020 needing new windshield wipers and was greeted by the Sales Associate Hector B, he was very informative on the different wiper blades. He got the correct sizing for my make and model. I told him that I wasn't to familiar with the RainX blade and he went above beyond for customer service, he installed them on to my vehicle. The store management constantly says that their computers are messed up when you go there at night. They claim their Alternator testor is broken. They won't give you the corporate telephone number when you get sick of their crap. Instead of helping customers they would rather stand outside and vape. Always a long horrible line also. Why is this chain still open??? The staff is horrendous. They could care less if you get what you need and are completely unhelpful. Today I needed to have someone there change out my battery. When I first called, the sales person simply said they would do it. When I called back to say I was on my way the jerk ass told me that they'll give me the tools and I can look it up on you tube. And then someone else got on the phone and told me that if they could do it in 10 minutes they'd do it. But that's it. And he hung up on me. They're all jerks. Do some work and go anywhere but to them. They could care less about you or anything. Last time I will go in to their stores. I truly hope Autozone closes and goes under. read more

I came in to return a gallon of coolant, I had placed an order for pick up and had someone pick it up for me. Come to find out I don't need it. So I decided to return it. Employee checked it out for me and said I wasn't able to return it because it was opened. Keep in mind I had never opened it and had someone pick it up for me. I had it sitting home so I decide to return it. The manger was rude came in really strong saying "how can you not tell it was open before buying it" shaking the gallon giving me that side eye. I told her I bought it and had someone go pick it up for me. The person I sent knows nothing about cars meaning they didn't know what they were picking up. I told them show them the receipt and they will give you what I have ordered. Crazy to see a manger ignore you after all this confusion. She told me it's not there problem and not their district so go back where you bought it from. Then you got the employee calling me "my boy" multiple time like if it was name. So rude.!! Noticed brakes lights were out and rushed to autozone only 1 mile down from Disney. Walked in and instantly Raul and another service member greets me. Knows exactly the parts i need and checked thenumbers and was right. Very pleasant and courteous and walked with me to the parts and walked back woth me and checked out. Great service and professional. I glad they are easily located and have plenty of parking, so i was able to change the parts there on the spot. Would def. Not only was he patient in helping me find the bulbs I needed but he also helped me put them in. He really went out of his way to help me! My daughter's car needed some parts as suggested by dealership and wanted to teach her that there's some things that she can replace on her own without paying the dealer price. We were quickly assisted Alberto. He was able to look up the parts for her hybrid. Lightbulbs, cabin air filter, and windshield wipers and ordered a light replacement for her broken one. Happy to pay $75 for all these parts than what could have costed me more than $250 at dealer. Alberto, kindly walked outside and helped us with replacing the bulbs for us and the wiper as those things can be tedious at times, especially because we're not too familiar with these things. Within minutes he was done! Yet would not accept a tip for our gratitude to his service. Thank you, Alberto for your your knowledge, patience and kind efforts in helping us outside your job requirements. I hope that this establishment values you as an employee. I was getting help from this nice young man to figure out which light would be the right one for my car, when she just comes up out of nowhere and yells at the guy in Spanish, pointing at me, and from context it seemed like she was yelling at him about not attending a different customer. This place has THE WORST SECURITY SYSTEM ever. I bought 3 wrong fuses for my car from another store and went to this store to exchange for the ones that fit. I walked in with 4 items in a plastic bag, 3 just bought and 1 I had from home to show them as an example. When I walked in through the door, it didn't beep. After exchanging 2 of them, the other one they didn't even have so I returned it. When I walked out the door with 3 items, 2 exchanged items and 1 I had for a long time ago and the door beeped. I came back for them to check and they found out the item I had for too long made the door beep. How could that happen?? I had no idea but they asked me if i still had the receipt for that item and I told them I didn't want to keep the receipt for something I bought from too long ago but they didn't believe me and told me I just took it from their store. I asked them if they can check the system again but they didn't even check and said there was nothing else they could do and gave me two options to leave the store without the item or they'd call 911. I didn't know what else to do but leave the store. DON'T EVER COME TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. read more

RUDE sales manager!!! Today at around 6p.m I walked into the store needing to return a few items that I purchased a day a go. The sales manager asked me if I needed help, I told him yes I need to return a few items. He looks at me and gives me a frustrated expression. He asked if there was anything wrong with the items, I replied by saying no. He then takes the receipt and continues showing signs of frustration by taking deep breaths and exhaling loudly. After a minute or two I hear him say something under his breath that sounded like "unbelievable". At this point it was obvious that the sales manager was upset by the fact that I was returning my items. To make the situation worst, once he finished entering the information from my receipt into the computer for my refund, he has the audacity to cripple the receipt and tosses it on the counter and says here. How can a store manager who is wearing a name tag stating that customer satisfaction is his number one priority do such a RUDE thing. He informs me that the cashier on the left will give me my refund. As I walk over to the second cashier I can clearly see(sales manager) him shake his head as if I've done something wrong. The second cashier finishes the transaction by handing me my cash refund and wishes me a good night. I don't remember the managers name because I was flabbergasted by his RUDENESS. Never in my life have I had such dreadful customer service from a manager. I will not be coming back to this store, I will also encourage everyone not to do business or even step foot at this store. read more

Went to this location on Sunday January 31st to get new wiper blades. The guy told us to get these and so we did. When trying to replace them they were not the actual ones. The only reason we found out was because we got an oil change at Jiffy Lube and they were nice enough to help install the wipers. They informed us that Auto Zone miss informed us. We will not be returning to this location. I will take my business a little further to the Auto Zone off Lincoln. They were much more helpful and they got us a refund on the blades we had just purchased. read more
