Unlike several Sacramento locations, they used common sense and were willing to help me replace a battery that was still under warranty, even though I couldn't locate the receipt. They treated me with empathy, listened to the situation, and simply did what was right for the customer. That level of service is rare these days. I drove all the way from Sacramento because of how helpful they were, and it was absolutely worth it. Hats off to the Shingle Springs team for being community-focused, people-driven, and running their business the right way. I only wish more stores operated with the same mindset.

She was very hesistant in giving me any information about whether or not they actually had parts in stock, it was all maybes and probablies. Later I show up to buy the parts, and bring the old ones back to warranty out. They wouldn't allow me to warranty them because apparently they're master mechanics that can diagnose cars without even looking at them or the old parts.I told them I checked the caliper pistons and guide pins to make sure they weren't sticking or seized or that my brake hoses weren't twisted or damaged, they had an employee that was off the clock that decided to butt in and repeat what I said and asked if I checked those items. The problem is with their garbage parts they sell. The new brakes I got from oreillys a while back now have a little well over 10k miles and they've worn out nice and evenly, but apparently Sandy and her team like to argue and not be of help. Also won't be returning because of all the racist comments I heard from the older employees working there some months back. This place is not very helpful, I recommend autozone or oreillys

Fast, courteous and efficient people work in this store. And a great big thank you to Chris for proving again and again how many kind people are out there in this world. My battery in my car fob was on the verge of dying. I had no idea how much time I had left when my car alerted me it was low. I panicked. Far from home. Getting dark. Scared. I yelped auto shops and saw I was literally a mile from this company. My concern at this point was to get help. I did not care how many good Yelp reviews they had... just get there. When I walked in every counter was occupied by paying customers. I caught the eye of a person not dressed in uniform behind the counter. I think he saw the panic on my face and immediately asked if he could help. I explained my situation and he was on it from that moment on. He opened my fob and literally in seconds had a replacement battery inserted and put it back together again. And if that was not enough he pointed the fob at my car through the store window to ensure it worked. I will bet I was in and out in 10 minutes. Unbelievable! I am sooo grateful, Chris, for your help. And as it turns out... they have many great Yelp reviews. I am not surprised! Please know you will be taken care of here no matter what your auto needs may be. The store looked immaculately clean and organized. And with so much inventory. This store is a gift to the community. The next day, I went in to ask the gentleman if he could help or walk me through on switching out the blades. The gentleman didn't make an effort to even look at the blades and just said "I can't touch your car but you can go to Auto Zone". And when I sold it and needed to get back into another 4Runner in 2017, Thompson Toyota took care of me yet again. Every experience has been straightforward, no-hassle, and I've always gotten exactly the vehicle I wanted. If it isn't on the lot, they simply make a trade to bring it in for you. YOU WILL WANT TO READ THIS REVIEW!…read more I used this company because I wanted to use a local company. I was going to get two jeeps sprayed but reduced it to one just in case. Good thing I did. I asked if they would be able to remove certain items and screws instead of spraying over them. I was told not an issue at all. I brought my jeep in and showed them exactly what I wanted done. I left feeling they had a good understanding.. That was not the case! When I came to pick up my jeep I was told that they had broke one of my bolts "due to rust" and they were too scared to take the rest out. The bolt they broke was the door bolt nut. I have taken these off and on several times throughout the year and never had any issues at all with them. Then I was directed to some side mirror mounts where the worker said he could not get them undone at all. So instead of calling me and asking... he just line X'd the whole thing. He did not even try and remove any screws or tape over any screw or bolt heads.. pretty much did a lazy get it done LineX job. Only reason this is not a 1 star is due to the actual lineX itself. It looks decent but I am sure I am going to have issues down the road. I would avoid this location at all cost! After my issues my neighbor and some of my 4 wheel buddies said they had the same issues there. (thanks for telling me after).

They also knocked it out in about an hour and sent me on my way. Maybe I was just riding the euphoria of saving a lot of money, but I swear my car ran better than when I dropped it off.
