I had a 'issue' with that crusting 'stuff' we all get on the positive battery post. My battery and alternator are aok, I needed tools and the spray to 'foam and remove' the gunk from the positive terminal. He was kind and helpful. i would give this autozone any and all my business if i could! the one on chandler heights sucks and their staff was extremely rude when my dad and i went in to get a new battery for my car. at this autozone, the manager, i can't remember his name, was very helpful and helped lower the price of my battery as my warrenty had just ended over a month ago. nicholas fixed and replaced my battery very quickly and was extremely friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had! i will definitely be coming back to this store if need be, whether it's to buy an air freshener to see nick again or get a new battery, but that's not for a few years i hope! thank you autozone!!! read more

Both of my daughter's headlights were out so she was driving around with her brights if she had to go anywhere at night. Her husband hadn't gotten around to replacing them in the two or more months they'd been out. I looked on YouTube to see if it was something she and I could do and after watching about 5 short YouTube videos I decided that we could do it. She said she already had the bulbs so I had her stop by my place after work. She popped open the hood and we got started but when we went to put the first bulb in that she had bought at Wal-Mart, it turned out to be the wrong bulb. It was the H11 but she needed the H11B. We jumped in my car and drove down to AutoZone which was just a couple blocks away and looked over their selection. At first they only had one guy behind the counter so we couldn't ask anyone questions because he was busy with customers. Then a second guy came out and took the next customer and a third guy came out and started to help us. We asked if that was the most reasonably-priced both they had and he said it was so we bought two of them at $21.99 each. Without my asking he gave us a 10% discount so they came closer to $20 each which was helpful. I don't know if it was because I was a senior or because we said it was the first time we had been in that store, but it was nice that he offered that. We took the bulbs back, got them installed and I felt better knowing she wasn't driving around with her brights on. I hate when other people shine their brights in my eyes. Plus now I don't have to worry about her getting a ticket. Thank you to the guys at AutoZone for helping us out and saving us a couple dollars. read more

Everyone has been pretty friendly every time we have come here. They offer the use of their tools if you need to tighten something up. They also offer free battery testing which is what we needed when we stopped by here. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the service we have received here. read more

This fellow proceeded to tell me that he couldn't put a new battery in my VW JETTA because the battery was buried under an electrical panel. He said it would take over an hour, even though a different gentleman the night before at the same location told me over the phone they could do it no problem. I called the VW dealership and their service rep literally laughed when I told him what the employee at Auto Zone had told me. So I proceeded to confidently show my "not so complicated battery" situation to Alex who didn't even respond with so much as an apology. In fact, he passed me on to another employee! And thank God! I got much needed assistance from Carlos, who appeared to be an assistant manager. He provided quick and helpful service regardless of Alexander's unwillingness to help me from what I suspect was an acute case of stupidity and laziness. Never going back to this location ever again. Dramatic evening for us, my roommate's Chevy Cobalt's battery died with the key locked in the ignition after attempting to jump the little guy was more of a ChevyNoVa instead of a No-Go then Triple A arrived helped get the key out with their super hero powers jumped it enough to drive and the get in the zone... AutoZone off Ray & Arizona where I called to see if they had the battery in stock and Carlos had awesome customer service on the phone we arrived and Carlos still had a great attitude then we were helped over and beyond by Eduardo! Eduardo went as far as helping us get items to clean the corroded battery terminal he cleaned it himself, removed the current battery and installed the new battery for us! Went in there to do a return. There was about 5 employees working. No one greeted me. No one looked at me. There were two employees standing behind the counter talking to each other in a different language while looking directly at me. Then finally someone else came forward and asked if I had been helped. I told him I needed to do a return and he said the employee that was already behind the counter was going to do it. She finished her conversation first, then finally took me. I don't like to do bad reviews, but man that was some horrible customer service. I was able to do my return and all, but I don't like being ignored when I first walk in. If I could give 0 stars I would do just that. I do my best to patronize local stores in the community but the customer service at this location is horrible! Every time I come in here it's rarely busy (employees walking around) however no one greets you walking in or is helpful. I asked a fella for assistance and he told me the cashier would ring me up and assist with putting on a part for me. Get to the checkout and not only does the cashier not even say hello but when I ask about putting on the part he rolled his eyes said something in Spanish and said he had to put in a battery. Let me give u a quick lesson on how u should've handled this: I'm sorry Ma'am it may take a few minutes currently I have something to do or let me get someone else to help you. It also seems that the employees only cater to Mexicans that come in. You don't get to treat me like shit when I come in to spend my money. One, two, three strikes and we're done!!! Be careful who you treat horribly you never know, who you're dealing with, and how they can impact your business. Unbelievable!!!!
